Join the 21-Day Faith Revolution!

Are you ready for a revolution in your life? Join the 21-Day Faith Revolution and watch your victory unfold right before your eyes!

READING TIME: 9 Minutes

Can you change your life in 21 days? Absolutely! Research shows it takes 21 days to create a new habit. The kind of faith that moves mountains isn’t built in a day—it develops over time, but in 21 days, you can develop a new way of thinking and living that can last a lifetime. Faith isn’t something that shows up only in emergencies—it’s a lifestyle.

To make a change like that, you’re going to need an overhaul in the way you think, speak and live—a faith revolution. The definition of a revolution is a dramatic, wide-reaching change in the way people think about something.

The result? A new lease on life—hope, joy, peace…breakthrough. In a word—VICTORY.

It’s time we stop settling for second best—living in the expectations of the world—and step out into our calling. That calling is FAITH. It’s guaranteed to please God, and He’s already given us the steps to get there.

It’s time to make faith a way of life, and let the revolution spread from family to family, church to church and city to city. It’s time to start a movement of believers who are willing to take their faith to the next level—to believe bigger, reach higher, resist fear stronger and live bolder than ever before.

Are you ready to join the faith revolution? Here’s what to do: For the next 21 days, create a new habit of faith by engaging in each of the daily activities. Your life will be changed so much, you’ll start spreading the revolution just by living out your faith!

Day 1: Move the Word of God to the Front of the Line

Does the Word of God always seem to end up at the end of your to-do list? The Word of God is what will start a faith revolution in your life. This is where it all begins, and here’s how to start:

  • Purchase a one-year Bible or print out a daily reading plan HERE.
  • Don’t just read and study the Bible, ask the Holy Spirit to help you read every word through His leading. You may have read a certain verse a thousand times, but it will become fresh, new revelation under the influence of the Holy Spirit.

Day 2: Carve Out a Regular Prayer Time

Life too busy to pray? It’s revolution time!

  • Determine to set a regular time to pray for the next 21 days. You may have to set an alarm for 15 minutes earlier than usual, but you’ll be amazed at how much you can accomplish in the spirit realm in a short time, and the impact it will make on your day.
  • Pray A Prayer for a Faith Revolution in Your Life HERE.

Day 3: Pray in the Spirit

  • If you’ve never prayed in the Holy Spirit (tongues), it’s time to give it a try! It can feel uncomfortable at first, but the more you practice, the better you’ll get. You can try praying in the spirit silently to yourself first, then move into a quiet whisper. Before long, you’ll be praying boldly!
    • Ask the Holy Spirit to give you the ability to pray in the spirit. If you’re filled with the Spirit, it’s in there. You just have to put faith to it.
    • Need help? Learn more about receiving the baptism in the Holy Spirit HERE.

Day 4: Pray With Praise and Thanksgiving

  • Today, focus your prayers on praise and thanksgiving. Don’t ask for anything—just worship.
    • Try to make this a habit each morning for at least 5 to 10 minutes, and then throughout the day. Worshipping the Lord is the key to supernatural breakthrough—but it has to be a lifestyle, not an event.

Day 5: Study Healing Scriptures

Even if you don’t need healing in your body today, healing scriptures can keep you living in divine health. They also prepare you with an arsenal for those times the enemy tries to put sickness on your body.

  • Find a list of Gloria Copeland’s favorite healing scriptures HERE.
  • Find the healing scriptures that healed Dodie Osteen of terminal cancer HERE.

Day 6: Forgive

Do you really want to see a faith revolution in your life? Forgive. The Bible tells us that faith works by love, and Jesus said when we stand praying, we must forgive. He tied that condition to receiving from God when we pray.

  • Today, sit down with a pen and paper (maybe a yellow pad!), and be quiet before the Lord.
  • Ask Him to reveal to you anyone you haven’t forgiven in your life. (This could go way back.)
  • Write down everyone who comes to mind. This could be individuals or even an entire group like a neighborhood, a church or a school.
  • There may be tiny, little “nothings” on the list, but those are important, too! It’s the small foxes that ruin the vines.
  • Then, ask God to help you forgive. It often takes supernatural help, doesn’t it?
  • From this day forward, keep your forgiveness list empty. Every time someone offends you, forgive immediately. Your faith will flow in ways you never dreamed possible!

Day 7: Give to Those in Need

What does giving have to do with faith? When we act in obedience to God’s Word, we position ourselves for victory in every area of our lives. Giving is sowing, and God says it will return to us.

  • Find a local food bank and donate canned items, clothing or anything else they need.
    • Donate time or money to a local shelter.
    • Know someone struggling in your church family? Bless them financially or start a meal chain for them.

Day 8: Focus on Your Words

Today, be extra mindful of your words.

  • Don’t speak negatively about ANYTHING.
  • Don’t complain, grumble or gossip.
  • Speak the Word of God only about anything you see or hear.
  • Ask yourself, “Am I speaking fear or faith? Doubt or belief? Am I tearing down or building up?”

Day 9: Focus on Your Thoughts

Yesterday, we focused on our words. Today, we will focus on our thoughts. Why? Because our words are the direct result of those thoughts. So, while you were getting a hold of your words yesterday, now you’ll be focusing on what is fueling those words.

  • When a negative or critical thought comes to mind, tune in. Start making a habit of recognizing those thoughts.
  • Remember, we don’t fight thoughts with thoughts—we fight thoughts with words. So, when a wrong thought comes, immediately speak truth.
  • For example, if you think something negative about another person, stop. Speak out, “I do not have a critical spirit. I have a spirit of power, love and a sound mind. I love this person with the love of God, and I do not hold any offense against him.”

Day 10: Study Scriptures About Finances

Today, we are going to study scriptures about finances. This is how we will build our faith to receive God’s best. The more you feed your spirit with the truth of God’s Word, the easier it will be to believe for and receive debt-freedom, promotion, increase and wealth.

  • Find 70 Scriptures That Prove God Is Your Source HERE.
  • Speak Confessions for Financial Victory HERE.
  • Work through the KCM 10-Day Action Plan for Financial Breakthrough HERE.
  • Conduct your own study! God will reveal the scriptures you need most.

Day 11: Watch a Teaching About Walking in Love

Today, we are focusing on our love walk, which is what fuels our faith!

  • Choose a teaching on VICTORY™ or on YouTube® to feed your faith.
  • Watch Kenneth Copeland teach why faith won’t work without love HERE.

Day 12: Read a Book That Will Feed Your Faith

  • Today, go to the library or bookstore (or online!) and find a book that will feed your faith—then read it!
  • For devotionals, try Andrew Murray’s Absolute Surrender or Jeremy and Sarah Pearsons’ new devotional, From Glory to Glory.
  • For learning and growing, try Kenneth Hagin’s The Believer’s Authority, How You Can Be Led by the Spirit of God or Love: The Way to Victory.
  • For building faith, try God’s Will Is Prosperity by Gloria Copeland, THE BLESSING of The LORD Makes Rich by Kenneth Copeland, or Ever-Increasing Faith by Smith Wigglesworth.
  • For healing, try what Kenneth Copeland calls “the best book on healing ever written”: God’s Will to Heal by Keith Moore—Download this book FREE HERE.

Day 13: Watch Healing Testimonies on YouTube®

Today, we will feed our faith for divine health and healing by watching powerful healing testimonies! This is a great way to build your faith in the area of healing.

Day 14: Pray Scriptures

Today, we are going to focus on praying God’s Word. Rather than just making requests, we will make our prayers an act of speaking God’s Word to Him and expecting Him to respond. Isaiah 55:11 says His Word will not return void. Praying our own words is taking a shot at receiving an answer. Praying His Word means we hit the bullseye every time!

  • Purchase a journal and fill it up with categorized scriptures. On one page, you might have a list of verses about financial blessing, on another, scriptures about healing or family relationships.
  • As you pray, refer to the list you’ve made and pray God’s Word to Him. No begging or pleading—just pray His Word. Then, thank Him for the answer!

Day 15: Ask for Forgiveness

It may be tempting, but don’t skip this one! Is there someone you may have offended? An area where you weren’t as honest as you could’ve been? Maybe you gossiped to a co-worker and brought them into your wrong choice. Perhaps you were short with your spouse.

  • Whatever it is, humble yourself. Ask for forgiveness. God exalts us when we humble ourselves—the reward is worth the small discomfort!
  • Repent before God for those areas that need correcting. Be specific! Ask for His help in getting this area right going forward.
  • Receive forgiveness. This is so important to your faith. Condemnation will keep you from receiving from God.

Day 16: Go After Fear

Today, we are going after fear with a vengeance. Fear is a big hindrance to faith, so we’ve got to get serious about moving it out of our lives. If you have worry, stress, anxiety or shame—you’re living in fear. And it’s got to go. Fear and faith oppose one another and keep your faith from growing. Here’s how we’ll tackle fear and drive it out for good.

  • Today, and every day from now on, pay attention to any worried, stressful or fearful thoughts that come into your mind.
  • Avoid television programming that feeds fear (i.e., unsolved mystery news programs, violent films, horror movies, negative TV series)
  • Fight back fearful, stressed thoughts with your words. Have some scriptures handy that you can use to combat any fearful thoughts.
  • Speak out loud, “Fear, I resist you in Jesus’ Name. Now go from me!”

Day 17: Tune In to the Holy Spirit

Are you listening to the Holy Spirit every minute of every day? Sound impossible? It isn’t! But it does involve creating a new habit. (That’s what the Faith Revolution is all about!) Today, we’re focusing on tuning in to the Spirit. Here’s how to approach this:

  • At the beginning of the day, ask the Lord to help you tune in and hear His leading.
  • With every decision (what to say or do and where to go), stop for a moment and listen for His leading.
  • Make decisions slower than you normally would. Let people know you’ll get back to them instead of answering right away.
  • Give yourself enough quiet time throughout the day to really hear from God.
  • Listen to Keith Moore teach you how to be Spirit-led, rather than head-led, emotion-led or people-led HERE.

Day 18: Tell Someone Your Glory Story

Today, we are going to focus on sharing our glory story (or stories!) with others. This helps to build the faith of others, while reminding ourselves of all God has done for us, which builds our own faith!

  • Make a list of the miracles you’ve seen in your life.
  • When you talk to someone on the phone, sit with your spouse or visit your grandchildren, take the time to share a story of the goodness of God in your life.
  • Repeating the good things God has done is a powerful tool in building your faith!

Day 19: Practice Patience

Today, we are going to practice patience. If you said, “I don’t have time for that!” you’re in the right place.

Faith and patience are the power twins. That’s why faith won’t work without patience. So mastering patience is critical to your faith revolution.

  • Practice patience in your everyday life—on the roads, in stores, with your spouse. In doing so, you will become more proficient at using patience in your spiritual life, as well.
  • Have you become impatient in something you’re believing God for? Take the time to get with the Lord, and ask Him to reveal to you how to operate in patience in this area.
  • Study scriptures about the faith greats and how they used patience to get to the promise. Mimic their prayers and actions. Ask God to show you the areas in your life that need correcting (there is always something!) and focus on becoming obedient rather than on what you aren’t receiving.

Day 20: Participate in a Fast

Today, we are going to participate in a fast for 24 hours. (Please do not do this without checking with your doctor first, and only do so if your current medical condition permits it.)

  • During this time, we will not consume food: only water, herbal tea or bone broth. (You may tailor this to suit your own needs, such as including juice.)
  • Focus on spending time with the Lord, praying and listening for the voice of the Holy Spirit.
  • Allow the Lord to bring up revelation you’ve received over the course of this faith revolution.

Questions about fasting? Find the answers you need HERE.

Day 21: Engage in a Time of Reflection

Today, we are going to reflect on what changes we’ve seen in our lives over the last 21 days.

  • Take the time to journal or pray about what you’ve learned and how you want to change moving forward.
  • In your journal, ask and answer the following questions:
    • How have I changed over the last 21 days?
    • What has God revealed to me during this time?
    • What breakthroughs in my finances, health or relationships have come to pass?
    • What can I do to make this faith revolution a way of life?

Congratulations! You completed the 21-Day Faith Revolution! Twenty-one days of stirring up mountain-moving faith. How did you do? Has anything changed in your life? Let us know in the comments below. You can choose to work through this 21-Day journey a second or third time to renew your mind and make living a life of faith one that is second nature, and more and more victorious. Is God Really Your Source?

Is God Really Your Source

Use This 6-Point Checklist to Find Out If You’re Relying on God to Meet All Your Needs

READING TIME: 7 MINutes

Years ago, the Lord gave a powerful word to Kenneth Copeland that has changed his life and the lives of KCM Partners around the world:

Don’t look to the government for your supply.

Don’t look to other people for your supply.

Pastors, don’t look to your congregation for your supply.

Jesus is our Source, and The WORD is our supply.

Why is this truth so important? Because as long as we rely on natural sources, our faith in God is not in operation, which blocks Him from showering us with abundant blessings. Today and every day, God wants to meet all your needs.

“My God supplies all of my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (see Philippians 4:19). Get that established in your heart. If you don’t, you could receive money every day, borrowed or not, and still stay in poverty and lack.

You may love God and think you believe Him to meet your needs, but is God really your Source? Use this 6-point checklist to find out if you’re relying on God to meet all your needs.

✓ God Is Your Source When He Isn’t Your Plan B

“Seek FIRST the kingdom.” –Matthew 6:33 (NKJV)

Pop quiz. What do you do when you want to buy a house or a car, or an unexpected expense comes knocking at your door?

If your first thought was a natural source (loans, credit cards or people), you answered incorrectly. This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have a job or never take out a loan—but it does mean that your first thought should go straight to God—your Source.

Most of us want to believe God is our Source, but when it comes down to it, our actions speak louder than words. We’ve been trained by the world to make natural options our source—even to rely on them exclusively. Some have fallen for the trap. They make God their Plan B, choosing instead to rely on things like:

  • Credit card debt
  • Loans
  • Government assistance
  • Parental support
  • A job or employer
  • Social Security or Medicare
  • Donors or congregants

Then, when natural means fail, they fall to their knees and cry out to God for help, when all along, they had access to the best plan of all. A big enemy of making God your Source? Impatience. God takes too long to answer. I’ll have to wait forever to get a house. I can’t afford to pay cash for a car.

Do these thoughts sound familiar?

There’s good news for you today: God wants you to have everything you need—and even the desires of your heart. But you have to do it His way. This means investing all your confidence in Him first—not just when things turn ugly.

Anything that bumps God out of first position is a code-red situation. It would be like relying on a blow-up raft with a hole in it when you’ve been invited to board a yacht sailing right next to you.

Let’s get one thing straight. Your job, the government, your family, your savings account, your retirement account or your credit cards—those things can fail. God will never fail, so don’t make Him your Plan B!

✓ God Is Your Source When You Believe

“Have faith in God.” –Mark 11:22

Now, it’s time to take God off Plan B status and move Him to Plan A, or No. 1, where He belongs. God is your Source when you believe He is your Source. That means showing a poverty mentality the door. It means you must stop wondering if He really wants to bless you, and it certainly requires pushing the mute button on the “what ifs” in your vocabulary.

When you learn to make God your Source—to really know and believe in your spirit that He will provide everything you need—your life will move from stress to peace, lack to abundance, and confusion to certainty.

In other words, have faith in God, and your life will be forever changed.

Is it really that simple? Yes. Yes, it is.

Believing is the key to ending the daily struggle—that feeling that you just can’t get in front of everything life throws at you. It’s moving from opinions to revelation.

Abraham caught the revelation. He knew and believed so strongly that God was his Source, that he took his son Isaac to sacrifice to the Lord. Abraham believed God would provide. When Abraham “lifted up his eyes and looked” (Genesis 22:13, ESV), there was a lamb in the thicket. He looked into the realm of the supernatural because he knew that is where his provision would come from.

That’s the key. You’ve got to lift your eyes up to Him instead of looking down at your bills or your circumstances.

Say, “God is my Source.” Keep saying it, and keep meditating on the Word. Let the revelation come alive in your heart until you believe that He is your one and only Source of supply.

Watch Kenneth and Gloria Copeland as they share why you can always count on Jesus as your Source of supply.

✓ God Is Your Source When You Understand THE BLESSING

“The blessing of the Lord makes one rich.” –Proverbs 10:22 (NKJV)

Part of renewing your mind to believe that God is your Source is understanding THE BLESSING of the Lord.

Here are what you could call the CliffsNotes® on THE BLESSING: God made a covenant with Abraham, empowering him and his descendants with THE BLESSING—the ability to prosper and excel in everything. Finally, “through Christ Jesus, God has blessed the Gentiles with the same blessing he promised to Abraham” (Galatians 3:14) because “if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” (Galatians 3:29, NKJV).

When you became a Christian, you became an heir to the greatest inheritance ever known. Understanding THE BLESSING of Abraham is what brings the revelation that God is your one and only Source.

THE BLESSING of the Lord was established by God to enforce all your covenant rights and to advance you along in life, but sometimes it can be tempting to flip over to the natural and try to take the reins yourself. The unintended consequence ends up including delay and frustration.

God put THE BLESSING in place so we don’t have to toil, struggle or rely on man in any area of our lives. The world is unpredictable, at best, but THE BLESSING will provide for you even when natural circumstances are against you. It will take you from a dry place to a place of abundant rain—from shaky ground to a solid foundation. But you have to let THE BLESSING do the work.

Learn How to Let THE BLESSING Do the Work HERE.

✓ God Is Your Source When You Obey His Word

“No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.” –Psalm 84:11 (AMP)

When you really believe God is your Source, you are going to obey everything He tells you to do. You won’t question it. You won’t try to get out of it. You’ll be standing at your post, responding with a hearty, “Yes, Sir!” at every command because you’ll know His aim is your well-being and provision.

In what areas should you obey Him? All of them! Every single command you see in the Bible is a chance to be obedient. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Loving others according to 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
  • Forgiving everyone
  • Tithing and giving
  • Refusing to fear
  • Refusing to worry
  • Honoring Others (See 10 People God Says You Must Honor HERE)
  • Staying sexually pure.

Obedience is an act of worship and trust. It tells God you honor Him above all others, including your own fleshly desires. It puts Him first place in your life. Even more, it tells Him you see Him as your one and only Source for peace, joy, happiness, healing and provision.

When you know God is your Source, you’ll want to follow Him—no matter the cost. You’ll know that as long as you’re with Him, you’ll have everything you need. But if you wander off the path, you’ve lost your guarantee. That’s a dangerous place to be.

Second Chronicles 16:9 says, “For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is perfect toward him” (KJ21). “To show himself strong” translated in Hebrew means “to bestow, grant, or extend wealth.”

The Lord is searching out the earth for people to bless. He wants to extend wealth, but we have to be receivers. We have to be trustworthy. It’s dangerous for someone who isn’t obedient to God to have wealth. That’s why He’s looking for a receiver.

A receiver has to be in position to receive. How do you get in position? Obedience.

“If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land” (Isaiah 1:19, ESV).

✓ God Is Your Source When You Tithe

“Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops.” –Proverbs 3:9 (NIV)

Obedience includes honoring God with the tithe. It’s amazing how many Christians will debate and resist this principle. Yet, it is only to their own detriment. Honoring the Lord with the tithe is putting action to your confession that God is your Source.

Heaven has always had a good economy. When God can trust you to give tithes and offerings, you won’t lack any provision. On honoring God with your finances, Gloria Copeland says, “Think of the return people get off of tithing—giving God the top 10% of their increase. Talk about a reward.”

Have questions about tithing? Learn more in Tithing 101 HERE.

✓ God Is Your Source When You Reach Out and Take What You Need by Faith

“How long will you neglect to go and possess the land which the Lord God of your fathers has given you?” –Joshua 18:3 (NKJV)

As we’ve learned so far, it’s critical to get a revelation of God as your Source to receive from Him. But if you’re sitting in your recliner waiting for God to drop money in your lap, you’re in for a long wait.

Faith isn’t passive—it’s an aggressive force. Faith takes what it’s believing for. That means, when you have a need, you’ve got to take action. Gloria Copeland suggests asking yourself, “When I prayed, did I take it, or did I just talk about it?”

Possession is key in the Bible. Israel had to take possession of the land God promised them. He gave it to them, it belonged to them, but they had to take possession to receive the land.

It’s the same when it comes to provision. Jesus paid a high price to give you everything included in THE BLESSING. Now, you need to go possess it.

You’ll know God is really your Source when you reach out and take what you need by faith. Claim it. Lay hold of it. Don’t let it slip away. Gloria Copeland says, “If you get serious, God will get serious.”

Kenneth Hagin once offered a three-step plan for reaching out and taking the finances you need:

  1. Claim what you need. Decide what it is you need in the natural realm; then believe you receive when you pray.
  2. Say, “Satan, take your hands off my money.”
  3. Say, “Go, ministering spirits, and cause the money to come.”

Faith is targeted and succinct in the way it operates.

Everything you need is ready and waiting for you. How long will you wait to go and possess the land?

Is God really your Source? In looking at this 6-point checklist, how’d you do? If there are a few points that need work, don’t be discouraged—get to work! Renew your mind until you believe, obey and reach out in faith. God is THE Source of anything and everything you could ever want or need. You can count on it!

Everything You Need to Know About Living a Legacy of Faith

Everything You Need to Know About Living a Legacy of Faith

Do you admire families with a legacy of faith? You can have your own! Here’s everything you need to know to make it happen.

READING TIME: 8 MINUTES

What if you could leave an inheritance to your family worth more than money—one that would allow not only your children, but the lives of everyone you touch, to defeat sickness and disease, continually increase financially, and enjoy supernatural success in relationships? That would be a legacy of mountain-moving, demon-defeating, immovable, unbeatable faith.

Billy Graham said, “The greatest legacy one can pass on to one’s children and grandchildren is a legacy of character and faith.”

You can live your own legacy of faith—the kind you admire in others from afar—and pass it on to your children and grandchildren, just like Billy Graham did. The only prerequisite is that you must be a born-again child of God. Your past, your family, your education or financial status—even your present—are of no consequence. Your future determines your legacy, and your future begins today.

You don’t have to wait until you graduate to heaven to leave a legacy. You can begin by living it now. Here is everything you need to know about living your own legacy of faith.

1. Start From Scratch If You Need To

“Let each generation tell its children of your mighty acts.” –Psalm 145:5

Kenneth Copeland’s grandson Jeremy Pearsons says, “The life you live is the legacy you leave.”

If you didn’t grow up in a family of faith, living your own legacy of faith might seem like an overwhelming task. Fear not! A legacy isn’t for a select few—it’s for everyone. It isn’t just for those raised in Christian homes, people who have attended Bible college or the ministers on TV. It is for every believer in the Lord Jesus Christ.

If you were raised in a broken home, one with abuse or one without any faith, you can start from scratch if you need to. Some of the most powerful faith families began with one person who was willing to break out of their past and create a new future by choosing to live their own legacy of faith.

It’s never too late to begin living a legacy of faith. You can live a life that exemplifies faith before the next generation and change the legacy of your family. That’s a powerful truth!

2. Be Willing to Leave Your Current Legacy

“Go from your country, your people and your father’s household…. I will make your name great.” –Genesis 12:1-2 (NIV)

To live your own legacy of faith, there is something important to keep in mind. There are two kinds of legacies: the one you keep and the one you leave. If you were raised in a family of faith, it’s important to learn your place in that legacy. Your parents may be pastors or have their own ministry, or perhaps you come from a long line of Christian authors or evangelists. Whatever the case may be, do not assume that their legacy is also yours to live out.

To have your own legacy of faith, you’ve got to tune in to what the Lord is saying to YOU. He created you as an individual, and He has a plan for your life that is uniquely tailored to your callings and giftings. Indeed, He may desire to use you within the context of your current family legacy, but it’s vital that you hear from Him directly.

Wondering if you’re hearing from Him? Learn 4 Ways to Know if You’re Hearing God’s Voice HERE.

If He is calling you away from the legacy in which you were raised, be like Abraham and heed the call—even if you don’t know where you’re going. Many Christians allow uncertainty and fear to block them from hearing and obeying the call of God to their own legacy.

On the other side of things, maybe you need to leave a legacy of poverty, sickness, negativity or abuse. It takes courage to break free, remove yourself from those relationships, and create a new legacy, but Jesus has come to set you free from every curse! You can do everything through Christ, who gives you strength (Philippians 4:13).

Whatever you do—have courage and be willing to hear. Fear is an enemy to living a legacy of faith. It keeps people locked in the same place. That’s the definition of prison—an area with walls that limit how far someone can go. Don’t allow yourself to be locked in a prison by the expectations of others or fear of the unknown. Step out into the future God has for you.

3. Get Your Own God

“O God, you are my God.” –Psalm 63:1 (ESV)

Part of living a legacy of faith is developing a relationship with God that is all your own, not based on the experiences of others. If you were raised in a household of faith, don’t live on the faith of your parents or grandparents—get your own God!

What does it mean to get your own God? It means you have your own testimony, your own experiences with Him, and your own miracles.

Your family, your pastors and the ministers you watch on television cannot be the source of your faith. What you learn from them will be nothing more than head knowledge if you do not have your own relationship with the Lord. Let the faith of others supplement and strengthen what you already have, but don’t make it all you have.

When you have your own God, you will:

  • Spend daily time with Him in your own way.
  • Hear from Him regularly and respond to His instructions.
  • Always have a new testimony of His goodness to you.
  • Trust Him and stand in faith without always needing someone else to pray for you.

There has to come a time in your life where you get your own God—not your mother’s God, your grandfather’s God, or your pastor’s God. As Sarah Pearsons says, “You have to have your own story with God.” That’s your legacy.

4. Find Your Faith Family

“Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.” –Psalm 92:13 (NKJV)

Part of getting your own God is finding your faith family—the place where the Lord wants you rooted and planted. Many believers don’t seem to realize the importance of finding a faith family. They’re missing out on one of the avenues God uses to bless them and speak to them.

Here’s why finding a church home is important: Christianity is not a religion; it’s a family with a Father. A church isn’t supposed to be an organization—it’s supposed to be a family.

Psalm 68:6 says, “God sets the solitary in families” (NKJV). He has ordained that each one of us would have a family to belong to. You may not even have one biological family member in your life, but His plan is to set you in a family—a family of faith.

That’s why the Church is called the House of the Lord. “Blessed are those who dwell in Your house” Psalm 84:4 (NKJV). “But the rebellious dwell in a dry land” (Psalm 68:6, NKJV). It’s dry, lonely and boring to not be part of a family. Yet a lot of people choose that because they’ve been hurt or offended in a family or a church family.

Being part of a church family isn’t just about what you can get—it’s about what you can give. No one is without “church hurts.” But isolation is selfish and damaging to both you and the Body of Christ.

Are you part of the KCM family? Join us today! Kenneth and Gloria Copeland pray over their Partners every day, making sure you are never alone.

Put yourself in a family of faith. Build relationships with other believers without fear and a guarded spirit. It’s an integral part of having your own legacy of faith.

5. Build Your Whole Life on the Word of God

“Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.” –Matthew 7:24 (ESV)

To live a legacy of faith, you have to be willing to build your whole life on the Word of God.

That means you work overtime to make sure everything you believe, say and do is in line with the Word, even if it means looking different from everyone else (we should!) or facing persecution.

It means speaking health when everyone else is speaking sickness, and speaking protection when others speak danger. It means speaking prosperity when the news is speaking economic downturn. It’s remaining steadfast in your marriage, even when Christians all around you turn to divorce. It’s staying out of debt when the world says you can’t live without it.

When you build your whole life on the Word of God, you’re living a legacy of faith that will be noticeable to your family and all those around you. They will be touched by the way you live—even inspired. The world already knows how to fail—they’re looking for people to show them how to be victorious.

6. Share Your Glory Story

“One generation shall praise Your works to another, and shall declare Your mighty acts.” –Psalm 145:4 (NKJV)

When you’re victorious in this life through Christ Jesus, you can have your own legacy of faith by sharing your glory story with the next generation—especially your children and grandchildren. Deuteronomy 11:19 tells us how to share our glory story. We are to talk about the goodness of God and what He has done for us all the time. When we’re out and about, when we’re home, when we wake up and when we go to bed.

Put away the electronics and the cellphones, and find those quiet moments to tell your glory story. You may never know the impact of the things you share—they are seeds planted and watered over time. And they will yield a harvest in your family.

Need more ideas about sharing your glory story and living out your faith before your family? Find them HERE.

7. Just Keep Walking

“I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord.” –Psalm 27:13 (NKJV)

As you share your glory story from victories past, you can live your own legacy of faith by working toward your next glory story and living it out before the next generation. Show them how to use faith to get where your heart desires to go.

For more on living from glory to glory, find Jeremy and Sarah Pearsons’ new devotional, From Glory to Glory HERE.

If you feel like it’s taking a long time for the visions in your heart to come to pass, this is your moment to live out a legacy of faith before your children. Let them see how you respond in faith.

Jeremy and Sarah Pearsons once asked Gloria Copeland, Jeremy’s grandmother, “How do we get from where we are to where we want to be?”

Gloria said something so simple, but so profound. She said, “Just keep walking.” They wanted a big explanation full of all her secrets. But all they needed to hear was “Just keep walking” in this life of faith.

What does that mean?

It means just keep living by faith. Keep obeying God. Move when He tells you to move, stay when He tells you to stay, and sow when He tells you to sow. Each of these things moves you one step forward in your walk of faith.

The walk of faith can seem long at times! That’s because it’s a process—a lifestyle. But if you keep walking, you’re guaranteed to arrive at your destination.

Watch Kenneth and Gloria Copeland teach you how to build a foundation of faith for your family.

8. Don’t Give Up

“So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.” –Galatians 6:9

Don’t give up. This is part of your glory story—living your own legacy of faith. It’s easy to give up—but there’s no legacy in that. When you show your children and grandchildren that you don’t give up when things get tough or when your miracle doesn’t come instantaneously—that’s living a legacy of faith. It’s an inheritance that is worth more than any amount of money.

So often, Christians quit right before they see their miracle. Even if you feel weary and faint, it doesn’t have to be the end of your journey. Choose to stay the course. You will reap if you don’t faint. You can have a setback and still remain in the fight. The only thing you can’t afford to lose is heart because once you’ve lost heart—you’re out.

Don’t ever let yourself say, “Unless I see a change, I’m quitting.” Start saying, “I’m believing to see the goodness of the Lord in my marriage, my job, my health.” That’s your legacy.

Watch Kenneth Copeland and Keith Moore teach you how to have faith for your family.

These keys are everything you need to know about living your own legacy of faith! As you put this into practice, you will live a legacy of faith that will change the course of generation after generation to come. It starts with you. You can have the legacy you’ve always dreamed of—all because of your precious decision to pursue God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength!

Do You Want to Walk in the Same Anointing As Kenneth Copeland?

Do You Want to Walk in the Same Anointing As Kenneth Copeland

Experience more of God’s yoke-destroying, burden-removing power through the anointing exchange!

You’re not alone. Did you know that? It can feel like it in the natural realm sometimes, but God designed you to have total and complete access to untold power in your life through Jesus by faith. But He also designed us to operate and function as one body—together. We do not all have the same function (Romans 12:4-5), but our gifts all come from the same God, and when combined together, they equal great power on the earth (1 Corinthians 12).

So, if you need a healing anointing operating in your life, an anointing for increase, a prophet’s reward, or any other kind of anointing, you have a BIG family from which to access that power. When you partner with someone in ministry, you become spiritually connected to their anointing and walk in that anointing for yourself!

Would you like to enjoy the anointing and rewards of Kenneth Copeland? Here are four ways you can walk in the same anointing as Kenneth Copeland and experience more of God’s yoke-destroying, burden-removing power.

1. Connect With the Anointing

“He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.” –Ephesians 4:16

In the Church, a lot of emphasis is placed on the importance of fellowshiping with one another and connecting with like-minded believers. But as the Body of Christ, we need to understand that we don’t have church just to have a place to hang out, or so we can be around people who treat us with a little respect. No, we come together as the Church for the sake of Jesus—for the sake of His cause and for what He has called us to do—to connect with God’s Anointing.

No one person—not even the apostle, the prophet, the evangelist, the pastor or the teacher—has it all. No one man or woman of God has the complete manifested Anointing of God. But together, we do.

Each one of us has a God-given supply of anointing to offer the rest of the Body. You have a supply of God’s Anointing that another person needs. That person has a supply of God’s Anointing that you need, and so on. However, in order for that anointing to flow among us in its greatest potential, we must join together. We must become divinely connected. We must access the anointing exchange.

How?

Through partnership.

God’s Word tells us that partnership in ministry is the most powerful relationship on the face of this earth. It is a covenant relationship based on the blood of Jesus. In God’s plan, partnership is all about His Anointing. It’s about getting the burden-removing, yoke-destroying power of God equally distributed among all His people. That’s exciting!

That means, whatever anointing you need in your life today, you have access to it through the Body of Christ via the anointing exchange. When you join in fellowship—partnership—with a person or ministry, the anointing that is on that person or ministry will come upon you. That’s the way God intends to distribute His Anointing throughout the Body of Christ.

The principles of partnership are the keys to our victory in the last days. They are the keys to supernatural increase and maximum effectiveness in the end-time harvest. They are the keys to the coming together of the Body of Christ in unity and full manifestation of the ministry gifts.

Once we, as believers, begin walking in the resources and power available to us through partnership in ministry, the Church will absolutely explode with power. And as we hook up through partnership to all the anointings God has deposited in and on ministries and churches, every one of us will become fully supplied…lacking nothing.

2. Be Deliberate in Pursuing the Anointing

“I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine…for you…for your fellowship in the gospel.” –Philippians 1:3-5 (NKJV)

In Philippians 1:3-5, the word fellowship can also be translated as partnership. It describes a covenant relationship between two parties who have common interests. The purpose of their partnership, or covenant relationship, is to accomplish something that neither of them could do alone. This partnership is the act of being deliberate in pursuing the anointing.

When Kenneth and Gloria Copeland made the decision to become partners with Oral Roberts more than 50 years ago, they committed to send $10 to his ministry each month. And back then, $10 seemed like $10,000. It was a lot of money, but they knew it was something they needed to do. It was a deliberate decision they made to connect with the anointing on Oral Roberts’ life and ministry.

What happened? The anointing exchange began right away. Not even one week after they had become partners, Kenneth noticed that the same anointing to lays hands on the sick that Oral Roberts operated in began to manifest in his life. It isn’t something that just happened; it was a deliberate act of coming into covenant partnership with another man’s anointing.

Read and receive A Prayer for Partners From Kenneth Copeland.

If you think about it, that’s how God operated in the Bible. There was never any uncertainty about how someone received and operated in His power. Like everything else in His kingdom, it worked according to the principle of sowing and reaping.

Think about Joshua. He spent 40 years of his life at the side of Moses. Then, when Moses passed away, Joshua stepped into a higher level of anointing than what even Moses had known. Joshua reaped what he sowed, and he sowed walking in a covenant relationship, or communion, with Moses.

Elisha did the same thing. He gave up his own lifestyle to stay as close to the prophet Elijah as he could. They were connected. And when Elijah left this earth, Elisha received a double portion of Elijah’s anointing.

In the New Testament, when Jesus called His disciples out one by one, He told them, “Come, follow Me!” They responded by joining with Him. They made a divine connection by becoming partners in His ministry. As a result, the same anointing that flowed through His life and ministry flowed through theirs, as well.

The same is true today! For example, when you partner with Jerry Savelle, you are accessing the anointing exchange of favor that Jerry has on his life. When you partner with Keith Moore, you are accessing the healing anointing exchange operating in his life and ministry. Likewise, when you partner with Kenneth Copeland Ministries, you are accessing the anointing exchange of supernatural faith, prosperity and healing.

3. Receive the Reward of the Anointing

“For as is the share of him who goes into the battle, so shall his share be who stays by the baggage. They shall share alike.” –1 Samuel 30:24 (AMPC)

Do you want to receive the reward of the anointing? It doesn’t matter if you’re the one doing the preaching or if you’re the one supporting the preacher, according to 1 Samuel 30:24, the reward for the work will be the same. That’s what happened when the Amalekites had come and taken everything from David and his men—their wives, children and all their goods were gone.

David inquired of the Lord and said, “Shall I pursue?” The Lord said, “Go,” and David went. Of the 600 warriors, 400 went and recovered everything, plus took the spoils from the enemy, while 200 stayed behind to guard the camp. When the army returned with the recovered spoils, those who had fought didn’t want to share with those who had stayed behind.

It was at that crucial moment that David—a man after God’s own heart—officially established the principle of partnership. He declared that the reward would be divided equally among those who went to battle and those who stayed behind. That’s partnership, and it became an ordinance in Israel from that day.

The same is true with partnership today. If you are “back at the camp” fighting alongside a minister of the gospel through prayer and finances, God makes no distinction between the two of you. You are equal partners in the work.

You are a soldier in God’s army, just like David’s men were. Maybe you’re on the front lines of battle as an apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor or teacher. Or, maybe you’re back at the camp watching over the “stuff.” Either way, the rewards belong to you.

Watch Kenneth Copeland as he teaches on the power of joining our anointings together to accomplish far beyond anything we could ever imagine!

4. Find Your Place to Receive the Anointing

“How could one man chase a thousand, or two put ten thousand to flight… ” –Deuteronomy 32:30 (NIV)

No matter what your vocation is, God wants every gifting and anointing of the apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher alive and active in your life just the same as He does in every minister of the gospel. When you find your place, you will begin to walk in the anointing exchange.

The devil’s biggest nightmare is the Church completely unified and flowing in that fullness of Jesus’ Anointings. That’s why he has been doing everything he can for centuries to keep the Body of Christ—the Body of God’s anointed ones—divided and disconnected from one another.

Come connect with other like-minded Christians and feel the power of corporate anointing at the 2019 Southwest Believers’ Convention. See what we have in store for your faith HERE.

So, how can you get in position to access the anointing exchange?

  1. Find out where and how God wants you plugged into the local church. The local church is where our spiritual life is rooted and grounded. That means we need to ask God where He wants us to settle down and take root—where He wants us to connect. Once He tells us, we need to get in that local church and pour our lives into it…as though we were the pastor.
  2. Find out which ministries God wants you to join in covenant partnership. Remember, when God calls ministers of the gospel, He anoints them and gives them as gifts to the Body. That does not make them more special than anyone else. They are members of the Body of anointed ones like the rest of us. Remember, it’s an exchange—you have something they need, too!

Once that divine connection is made, the anointing that is on the apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor or teacher is released to us. We partake of their grace, or their anointing. And, likewise, whatever anointings flow in our lives will be available to them to strengthen their life and ministry.

Just think of the Shunammite woman who decided to support the ministry of the prophet Elisha. She was so determined to be a partner in his work that one day when he was passing by, she “urged him to come to her home for a meal” (2 Kings 4:8). She wouldn’t take no for an answer! But she didn’t stop there. She and her husband built a special room onto their house, so Elisha could have a place to stay whenever he was in town.

In return for their partnership in his ministry, Elisha told his servant Gehazi, “Go find out what we can do for this woman. Find out what she wants.” So, Gehazi went and checked out the situation, then came back and gave Elisha his report: “Actually she has no son, and her husband is old” (verse 14, NKJV).

Elisha then imparted his anointing to her by declaring in faith, “About this time next year you shall embrace a son” (verse 15, NKJV). Obviously, the woman did not have the faith to believe God for a child because when Elisha told her she would bear a son, she said, “No way! You may be a prophet, but you cannot be telling me the truth!” Having a child was beyond what she could ask or think.

Elisha had no trouble believing for this woman to conceive and deliver a son, and since she was due a reward and they were in partnership with one another, he simply released his faith on her behalf. By the next year, she had a baby boy in her arms. That’s the anointing exchange in action!

If you are a partner with a ministry, or multiple ministries, are you tapping into the anointing? Over the years, Kenneth and Gloria have encouraged their Partners to draw purposefully on the faith in their lives and ministry, and use it to help them accomplish those “faith projects” they encounter in life that seem just a little more than what they can believe God for on their own. And time and time again, they’ve seen their Partners get results…their rightful earthly rewards.

Maybe you are facing what seems to you a MOUNTAIN of debt. Maybe it’s more than what you think your faith can handle. Just tap into one of the many earthly privileges of partnership. If you’re a Partner with KCM, draw on the faith that Kenneth and Gloria have for supernatural debt reduction. Tap into that anointing power!

Need help with finances? Find the Profile of a Prosperous Christian here.

When you use these ways to tap into the anointing exchange, the full scope of God’s Anointing will be alive and active in your daily life. Enjoy the reward of every anointing flowing in the Body of Christ by joining your faith together to receive exceeding abundantly above all that you can ask or think. No matter how you look at it, this deal is too good to pass up. So, don’t! Get connected…and receive the anointing!

Are You Living in Condemnation? 4 Warning Signs That Something’s Just Not Right

Are You Living in Condemnation?

Are you living in condemnation? The devil is sneaky, so don’t answer until you check out these four warning signs that something’s just not right!

Do you believe that God is the Giver of healing, prosperity, deliverance, peace, salvation, the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, a spouse, children and every other good thing, but don’t feel worthy to receive those things?

Wait, don’t answer just yet…keep reading.

Many Christians are refusing the gifts Jesus Christ has made available to them through His shed blood because they think of themselves as unworthy. Because of their past sins and mistakes, and the past sins and mistakes of others, they do not feel good enough to receive from a holy God.

Now you can answer. Does this sound like you? If you answered yes, then…Houston, we have a problem.

If you’ve been having trouble receiving healing, financial breakthrough or anything else you need from the Lord, and you struggle with feelings of shame and unworthiness, you may be living in condemnation that needs to be resolved.

What Is Condemnation?

Simple definitions of condemnation include feelings of guilt, shame, regret, fear and unworthiness…usually stemming from a past mistake or experience. These past sins could have happened 10 years ago or 10 minutes ago. Anytime we miss the mark, and we all do from time to time, the enemy will try his best to bring condemnation on us.

So, what are we to do? We are to believe and stand on the Word of God!

  • The Bible clearly tells us in Romans 8:1 that there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus.
  • Psalm 34:22 says the Lord redeems the life of His servants, and no one who takes refuge in Him will be condemned.
  • If we confess our sins to Him, He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
  • He blots out our sins and does not think of them (Isaiah 43:25).
  • He does not punish us for all our sins or deal with us harshly as we deserve (Psalm 103:10).

Another important point to remember is that there’s a difference between conviction and condemnation. The Holy Spirit will let us know when we’ve missed the mark by convicting us of sin from our past or present, but He is a gentleman. He doesn’t aim to make us feel guilty, unworthy and fearful, but He leads us to repentance. Correction usually comes by a quickening from the Holy Spirit as you read and study the Word of God, or through a minister or pastor teaching or preaching from the Word. It can also come from a fellow believer who is walking in love. Condemnation, on the other hand, is brought on by the devil, and he wants to make you feel all the bad things—unworthy, afraid and guilty. He will often invade your thoughts or use people to accomplish his mission.

But there’s good news! You don’t have to live in condemnation, because Jesus paid the ultimate price for you to be free! So, it’s time to ask yourself, Am I living in condemnation? The devil is sneaky, so it’s always a good idea to check and see if he’s been pulling any of your strings and trying to cheat you out of the abundant life Jesus came to give you.

Below are four warning signs that you may be living in condemnation and that something’s just not right.

Warning Sign No. 1: You Think About the Past—A Lot

“One thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead.” –Philippians 3:13 (NASB)

Do thoughts of your past seem to creep up out of nowhere? Sins and mistakes from 10, 20, even 30 years ago? Or maybe you keep reliving a negative life experience that left you hurt—over and over and over. Perhaps you’ve even found yourself saying on repeat, “I wish I would’ve…” or “If only I wouldn’t have….”

The No. 1 warning sign that you may be living in condemnation and that something’s just not right, is if you think about your past sins and the negative experiences of your life a lot. Recalling these memories can leave you feeling guilty, ashamed and like you’re never quite good enough.

This is why God tells us to leave what’s in the past in the past, and to press forward into our future. God wants to do something new and wonderful in your life, completely apart from your past, but you have to stop looking to your past in order to receive it!

How do you do this? Know that Jesus already took the condemnation for your past upon Himself. As a born-again Christian, you have been made free from every sin you’ve ever committed. Jesus bore all your sin, shame and guilt on the cross, so you could live free of condemnation—FOREVER.

It isn’t enough to just mentally acknowledge this truth, however. As long as you keep allowing yourself to replay bad choices or experiences, you’ll keep yourself spinning on the condemnation merry-go-round. Are you ready to get off?

Here’s how to do it: Take your thoughts of the past captive and make them obedient to Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). When a condemning thought from your past crosses your mind, stop it dead in its tracks by speaking out loud. Say, “No. I don’t live in the past. Jesus has made all things new and given me a prosperous, guilt-free future. I am living fully in the present, and I look forward to what God is doing in my life right now.”

This might be a daily effort at first, so don’t give up if the thoughts of your past don’t immediately stop. Plus, you have an enemy who doesn’t want you to succeed, but remember, he’s already been defeated! So, whenever the devil tries to call you with reminders of past mistakes—hang up on him. Inform him that he’s been placed on your Do Not Call List, and you will not be receiving any more of his attempts at communication.

Make a decision today. Leave the past behind, and focus on the here and now, and your glorious future!

Warning Sign No. 2: You Can’t Seem to Forgive Yourself

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” –2 Corinthians 5:17 (NLT)

If you find yourself beating yourself up for days, weeks and even years after you make a mistake, that’s a strong warning that you may be living in condemnation, and something’s just not right. Feelings of rejection, fear of failure, insecurity and depression are all connected to condemnation.

When you became a Christian, you literally became a new creation, a species that has never before existed. The old person you were passed away, spiritually speaking. The best news is that all of your past and future mistakes have been blotted out by the blood of Jesus! If Jesus can forgive you for past and future sins, who are you to not forgive yourself?

To forgive yourself, you must renew your mind to the truth of God’s Word that says you are forgiven and have been made new.

Remember, when you sin or miss the mark, confess and repent as soon as you realize it. Next, receive your forgiveness and cleansing from the Lord (1 John 1:9), and then take the next step and forgive yourself! Holding onto guilt and shame is refusing to receive His forgiveness, and it just wouldn’t be right to refuse this beautiful gift!

What’s more, satan will take anything about which you’ve not forgiven yourself and beat you over the head with it. But if you forgive yourself, he’s neutralized.

This is such a vital concept to grasp, you may need to spend some dedicated time with the Lord to inquire of Him and search your heart for any areas where you have not received God’s forgiveness and have not forgiven yourself.

If you discover that you just can’t seem to forgive yourself, it’s a good time to ask, “Why?” What do you lose by letting go of the past and accepting the truth that Jesus washed away your sins and mistakes? What do you gain by holding onto past hurts?

Living in condemnation because you just can’t seem to forgive yourself is self-focused, and receiving forgiveness is God-focused. So, turn your focus back on God, forgive yourself because Jesus has forgiven you, and start living in victory!

Warning Sign No. 3: You Have a Judgmental and Critical Spirit

“For you’ll be judged by the same standard that you’ve used to judge others. The measurement you use on them will be used on you.” –Matthew 7:2 (TPT)

Another warning sign that you may be living in condemnation is if you have a judgmental and critical spirit about you. What is a judgmental and critical spirit? It is one that looks for flaws and failings in others and forms a verdict or opinion about them. Criticizing and passing judgment on another person can help make us feel a bit superior in areas in which we feel we have the upper hand. At least I don’t do that! you may think to yourself.

Why is this a warning sign that you may be living in condemnation? Often, we judge people because we ourselves “feel” judged either by God or by people. When we feel judged, feelings of condemnation abound. However, often, we are only feeling judged by others because of condemning thoughts replaying in our heads. If we knew the truth of the matter, we’d probably be surprised to find out that the person we “felt” judged by didn’t ever give us one thought!

If you find yourself observing, judging and criticizing the faults in people—spouses, friends, family, co-workers, political leaders—or even pointing them out to others, the Word of God has some advice for you: Stop it now! The Bible clearly warns us of the dangers of judging others. When you sow judgment, you will reap judgment (Matthew 7:2), leading to more condemnation. It’s a vicious cycle!

Most of all, God loves you so much, He sent His one and only Son to die for you. Because you have accepted this free gift, you are no longer condemned; therefore, you are free from the thoughts and judgments of others. God says there is now no condemnation for you because you belong to Him, so His Word and love for you trumps everyone else’s opinion.

Other signs of a critical spirit fueled by condemnation include:

  • Being highly critical of yourself and comparing yourself to others
  • Needing constant affirmation from people around you
  • Craving compliments, while feeling threatened if others are complimented.

How do you go free from a judgmental and critical spirit?

  1. Repent. This means to change your ways to God’s ways! Ask Him to show you the root of the critical spirit. If you truly believe someone is in error, refuse to criticize him or her, but pray instead! The Scripture says, “Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand” (Romans 14:4, NIV).
  • Refuse to gossip or speak negatively about anyone, ever (Ephesians 4:29). Be cautious of what you share about others, knowing that love covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8), which means it doesn’t highlight or gossip about the failings of others.
  • Walk in love by choosing to speak life and build others up with your words. Go out of your way to say something nice to or about someone. When you’re living free from condemnation, you’ll find yourself eager to build others up.

Get the encouragement you need! Come to the 2019 Southwest Believers’ Convention.
Learn how HERE.

As you go free from condemnation that comes from a judgmental and critical spirit, you will begin to naturally overlook the faults and shortcomings of others because you will be so secure in who you are in Christ. You’ll become a cheerleader for the Body of Christ and an excellent representative of the love of Jesus to the world. Instead of saying, “Look what you did,” you’ll say, “We’ve all fallen short at one time or another. But you can do it! I’m with you in this.”

Warning Sign No. 4: You Feel Unworthy

“But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” –Romans 5:8 (ESV)

Do you ever feel like you have to prove yourself? In today’s world, that’s what you have to do, right? On the job, among friends and even at home, the pressure is on to convince those around you that you deserve the salary, the friendship and even the love they give you. Why? Because you feel unworthy. Feeling unworthy is the next warning sign that you may be living in condemnation and that something’s just not right.

If you’re feeling unworthy of anyone’s love—be it a family member, friend, co-worker or even God Himself, you have to know and accept the truth: God considered you worthy enough to send Jesus Christ to die for you. That’s how He showed His love for you, and that’s how He showed you that you are worthy. Your life is very important to God.

If you feel unworthy, it’s time to get a revelation of the love God has for you. First John 4:16 says, “We have come to know and to believe the love God has for us…” (ESV). You can’t just know in your head that God loves you, but you must believe the love, or in other words get a personal revelation of it.

As Kenneth Hagin said, “Believing takes place in our heart, not our head.”

How do you do this? Meditate on scriptures that talk about God’s love for you. Ask God to reveal to you that He loves you. Then, be on the lookout for God to show you. He will. This revelation will revolutionize your whole life! To be loved by God and to believe it from personal experience…it’s a marvelous thing!

Next, you need to understand that, as Christ’s servant, you are called to please God, not man (Galatians 1:10). It pleases Him when you understand the high value He places on your life and when you have faith in His love for you.

Remember, God hasn’t based His relationship with you on your worthiness in and of yourself. He knows where you’ve missed. He knows you’ve fallen short. But when He looks at you, that’s not what He sees. You know what He sees? He sees the worthy blood of Jesus covering you. He sees you perfect in every way, ready to complete every good work He created you to do in this world. You don’t have to struggle to prove yourself to Him. As far as He’s concerned, you’re a proven success.

So, the next time you catch yourself struggling to make up to God for something you’ve done wrong, or you find yourself working to win His approval or the approval of others, stop and rest in His love for you. Remind yourself of how much God loves you. You are worthy to be loved by God Almighty! Your job is to please the Lord with your life. You already measure up.

Watch Gloria and Kellie Copeland talk about how the devil uses shame and how you can defeat him.

Well, how did you do? Did you notice any of the four warning signs that you may be living in condemnation and that something’s just not right? Once you resolve to stop living in your past, forgive yourself, quit judging others and realize you are worthy of God’s love, receiving from God will become much easier! Jesus has paid the price for you to go free from condemnation and receive all the gifts He’s already given you. He came to give you life and life more abundantly. It’s time to begin living the abundant life—free from condemnation today!

10 Things You Didn’t Know About Kenneth and Gloria Copeland

10 Things You Didn't Know About Kenneth and Gloria Copeland

Wish you could sit down to coffee with Kenneth and Gloria Copeland? Find out some of the things only friends and family have known until now!

If you could sit down to have coffee with Kenneth and Gloria Copeland (Kenneth will take tea), what would you ask them? Maybe you’d want to know how to develop unstoppable faith or learn more about their daily spiritual routine. Or perhaps you’d like the chance just to get to know them better personally.

Whether you’re new to Kenneth Copeland Ministries or have been a Partner for 30 years, here’s your chance to get to know the powerhouse couple who have dedicated their lives to ministering the gospel.  So grab a cup of coffee, and enjoy these 10 things you didn’t know about Kenneth and Gloria Copeland.

1. Kenneth Has a Gold Record

If you’ve ever heard Kenneth Copeland minister in song or serenade his wife on live television, you know he has serious singing chops. But one thing most people don’t know is that he was almost the next Elvis Presley. He was being groomed by the same circle of people to be the next singing sensation and world-renowned superstar.

His first record reached the Top 10 and sold 300,000 copies—a gold record.

What happened?

Kenneth tells the story himself:

“I started out singing in nightclubs as a teenager. Then, in 1957, when I was 20 years old, I recorded a song called ‘Pledge of Love.’ I knew that song was going to make it and make it big. What I didn’t realize back then was that I couldn’t be a real success at anything in life as long as I was running from God. And I was hoofing it as far from Him as I could get! I was so far from being where God wanted me to be and preaching what He wanted me to preach, that I might as well have been in the belly of a whale just like Jonah.”

Would you like to know what happened the day the record was released?

He got drafted.

He was in the Army, watching that record climb on the charts each day until it turned gold. At the pinnacle of its success, when Kenneth should have been releasing his next recording, he was doing pushups for Uncle Sam.

By the time he was discharged from the Army, the song had dropped off the charts, and his name had been forgotten. While that record was on the move, instead of being available to accept offers to perform on national TV (The Steve Allen Show) and movie soundtracks, etc., he stood guard duty or some other task assigned him by the government.

At the time, he was frustrated and didn’t understand why it had happened. But today, He thanks Almighty God for protecting him.

“That kind of success would have destroyed me,” Brother Kenneth says.

Two other young men had their first records on the charts at the same time. Their names were Johnny Mathis and Elvis Presley.

Instead of finding worldly fame, the Lord used Kenneth’s talent to glorify Him. Since then, Kenneth has recorded a number of powerful gospel albums that testify to the goodness of God.

2. Gloria Was a Cheerleader

Gloria grew up in Center Point—a tiny town in Arkansas that hasn’t changed much except, she says, “it may have gotten smaller.” Eventually, she lived in Jacksonville, Ark., where she was a cheerleader in high school.

Gloria has always been positive and encouraging, so it’s no surprise she chose to be a cheerleader. What is ironic, though, is what she was cheering for.  She attended Jacksonville High School where the mascot was (and still is) the Red Devils. She wasn’t raised in a church that taught much about the Word of God and the devil.

So, she cheered and cheered for those Red Devils!

She wore a picture of the devil’s head on all her uniforms, sweaters, jackets and class rings. She never thought a thing about it—she just thought it was a good name at the time.

She looks back on how ironic that is now and says, “I learned to cheer back then, but now I’ve switched teams. Today, I’m cheering for Jesus!”

3. Kenneth Was a Commercial Airline Pilot

Most people know that Kenneth is a pilot, but before he was in ministry, he intended to pursue commercial piloting as a career. He worked for a commercial company in Little Rock, Ark., where they provided pilot services for several large companies and their families, including the Rockefeller family. He even remembers flying Rockefeller children to their dental appointments!

Kenneth became a pilot in 1959, and in 2012 the FAA awarded him for having more than 50 years in aviation without an accident. He has an excellent record, and he is a very talented pilot.

Recently, when flying the Citation X with his co-pilot, Duane Flanagain, they encountered some intense turbulence. Duane described the situation this way: “The turbulence was so rough that I had trouble grabbing the knob to change the frequency on the radio. I heard the sound announcing that [Kenneth] had turned off the autopilot. Nowadays, most pilots would have kept it on. But he’s such an excellent pilot that he hand-flew that plane through the turbulence and maintained his heading and altitude without any deviations.”

4. Gloria Was a Pilot

In the ’70s, Cessna first came out with the Citation 500, the first Cessna jet. Kenneth and Gloria began sowing seed and believing God to have this transportation to travel to their meetings.

But they soon found out it required two pilots to fly it.

Kenneth tried to convince Gloria that she should be the other pilot, but she really wasn’t interested in flying. Finally, she agreed to it. It turns out she was a natural!

On the day of her private pilot check ride, the man who had been her examiner gave Gloria an “Excellent” rating and approved her for a license.

He said, “I’ve been giving check rides for many, many years. I have checked that ‘Excellent’ box fewer times than the fingers on one hand. That young lady can fly an airplane.”

After 88 hours of flight time, Gloria decided to hang up her pilot’s cap and let the wonderful pilots around her take care of flying KCM planes. If she needs to, she will come up front and read charts for the pilots, but she’s content just to be a passenger.

5. Kenneth Can Hold a Plank Position for 3 Minutes!

Dr. Don Colbert, M.D., was on a recent BVOV broadcast and recommended that every person, no matter their age, should try to work up to holding a plank position for 1 minute every day. It increases strength, improves posture and has been found to keep people from frailty that often comes from inactivity.

Learn how to do a plank with Dr. Don Colbert here!

At 82 years old, Kenneth Copeland can hold a plank position for an impressive 3 minutes! It is so inspiring that Dr. Colbert has worked his way up to 3 minutes, not to be beaten by 82-year-old Kenneth. Now, Brother Copeland says he is working his way up to 5 minutes per day!

6. Gloria Was Voted Christian Woman of the Year

In 1994, Gloria Copeland was voted “Christian Woman of the Year,” an honor given to women whose example of faith and excellence “exemplify godly character and leadership.”

The Christian Woman of the Year Association chooses one woman annually through nominations and votes of evangelical women in Christian leadership roles. Gloria received the honor from her peers because of her global impact for the kingdom of God through her teaching at conventions, on television and radio, through books, and on audio and video materials.

Over the years, Gloria has also been honored by government officials, including the president of the United States, the vice president of the United States, the governors of Texas and Georgia, the mayor of Washington, D.C., and the city of Atlanta.

7. Kenneth Has a Special Bedtime Routine

You don’t get to a place of faith like Kenneth and Gloria Copeland have without some serious spiritual work. Though they are generous in sharing everything they know about how you can enjoy victory in every area of your life, it’s fun to learn what they do in private to keep their own faith strong.

For example, Brother Kenneth has a special bedtime routine. Quite often, he will turn on Kenneth Hagin on his iPhone, and he and Gloria will watch Brother Hagin preach and heal just before they go to bed.

Then, when they turn off the lights to go to sleep, Kenneth explains what he does next:

“The last thing that comes out of my mouth, so quiet that Gloria is not able to hear me, is this: ‘I love the Lord my God with all my heart, with all my soul, with all my mind and with all my strength. I love my neighbor as myself, and I love the brethren even as You love the brethren. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for loving me. Thank You for loving my family and for taking care of us as You have all these years. I love You so. I love You so.’”

He does this because he says, “Faith works by love, and you have to confess the love of God for faith in the love to come out.”

8. Gloria’s Favorite Letter Ever Received Came From a Prison Inmate

Of the tens of thousands of letters from Partners received by KCM, a large portion has come from our Partners in prisons across the nation. It so happens that Gloria’s favorite letter she has ever received was from a man in prison.

The following is an exact excerpt from that letter:

Gloria:

Yo, a note from behind the bars to say hay. Thank you and your ole man. Saved me from hanging in hell, truely a unpayable debt.

Hay, I was lost and way out there too, and I didn’t like where I was. I wanted to hang it up. I quit eating, started fights in hopes I’d git killed, but the spirit came to me and lined me out. I found you and Ken on the tube and between you, Ken and the gost, the three of you pulled me through it (Hay, I don’t mean to space the Boss [God], he put it together). Oh, ya, Jesus too! Hay I thought I was abanded and there ya all were. I’ll never say thank you enuf not to you and Ken.

I’ve just been kicken in my crib and reading the book [the Bible]. Just me, the Boss and the brother; we got a good thing. I haven’t been in a fight or put nothing in my arm. I even give up the ciggarette.

Well, I talked to some bros about the Boss and hay, they hang with him to (it wasn’t quite as easy as it sounded, but you git my drift, I’m sure).

So, thanks once more. You two are good in my book and can hang with me any time. I relly love you guys. There is alot I’d like to share, but don’t have enuf sit down so I bet I’ll see ya on the high way.

Love,   K.C. S.

9. Kenneth’s Hair Color Is Natural

This is a popular question! Kenneth Copeland is 82 years old, and he still has a full head of dark hair. No, he does not dye his hair. Maybe it’s the Cherokee blood from his grandfather, but he believes it’s a conversation he had many years ago with God.

He decided he was going to believe God for his original count of hair because Jesus said the hairs on his head are numbered. He said, “They’re mine. I want all of them!” So he went to the Lord and settled it with Him. Then, he noticed gray hair coming. There’s nothing wrong with that, but he decided to roll the care of his hair over on Jesus.

After that, he would stand in the mirror and say, “Glory to God. Hair, grow dark brown. Thick be, in the Name of Jesus. Bald spots, no!” He doesn’t do that every day, but the few gray hairs that were there disappeared, and he’s had a full head of dark hair ever since!

10. Kenneth and Gloria Laid Hands on Johnny Cash

Long before it was Faith Life Church in Branson, home of Keith Moore’s ministry, the beautiful building was the Remington Theater, where Johnny Cash performed. One evening, Kenneth and Gloria attended one of his shows, and as they walked in, some of Johnny’s staff approached them and said, “Johnny wants to see you.”

The staff members took them to the back, and the first thing Johnny said to them was, “Will you lay hands on my knees? They are hurting me so badly, and I don’t know if I’ll make it through this show.”

Kenneth and Gloria immediately grabbed hold of his knees and began to pray for healing. Mr. Cash went on to perform a long and successful show. He sat Kenneth and Gloria in the front row for the show, and after the final performance, he pointed to them, tapped his knees and put two thumbs up. He was healed!

Is your coffee gone? This has been a fun time of sharing 10 Things You Didn’t Know About Kenneth and Gloria Copeland. Hopefully, you know the Copelands even better than you did before. If they could tell you something personally, it would be this: They love God with all their hearts, and they love you so very much, and pray for you every day. JESUS IS LORD!

5 Practical Ways to Cast Your Cares on Jesus

5 Practical Ways to Cast Your Cares on Jesus

Do you struggle with worry, stress or fear? You can go free and never worry another day in your life!

What am I going to do? Have you ever had that thought? A seeming crisis looms in your finances or your job, you received a bad report about your health, or an important relationship seems to be crumbling right before your eyes. The pressure mounts, and your problem-solving mode kicks in. All day and night, you contemplate the solution, wondering if there even is one. Concern moves to worry, and worry morphs into all-out fear. Before you know it, panic sets in, and you’re in total torment.

Believer in the Lord, this is not how you are meant to live! God’s plan has always been that you live in perfect peace and ultimately find deliverance from trials. That’s why God is vehemently against worry. It does not produce anything but stress, strain and death. Jesus preached against it; Paul preached against it. The whole Bible is against worry because satan designed it.

Consider these scriptures: “Do not be anxious about anything” (Philippians 4:6, NIV), “Don’t let your hearts be troubled” (John 14:1), “Don’t worry” (Matthew 6:31). And that’s just the beginning. Yet many of us still act as if it’s an option, as if we’re free to worry if we want to. But we’re not! Worrying is a sin. It’s one of those things the Word of God directly commands us to not do.

That’s why, at one point, Kenneth E. Hagin promised God he would never worry again, and he set out to keep his promise. Kenneth Copeland has made the same commitment. He refuses to let the sun go down on a single care. But one thing is sure—it is a challenge. Gloria Copeland says, “Casting your cares on God is an act of faith. It may not be easy at first, but it is necessary if you want to live in victory.”

Today can be the last day you ever have a care in this world. Does that sound appealing to you? Make a decision right now that you will do whatever it takes to cast your cares—every care—on the Lord and into His hands. Use these five practical ways to cast your cares on Jesus and make this the first day that you never carry a worry again.

1. Cast Your Cares by Stopping Worried Thoughts Before They Start

“We take captive every thought.” –2 Corinthians 10:5 (NIV)

The mind is where the battle between worry (fear) and peace (faith) takes place. Whatever you allow to captivate your mind will rule your life. So, if you want the Word of God to reign over your thoughts, you have to resist the devil when he tries to plant anything contrary to it in your mind.

That’s why, in order to cast your cares, you have to stop worried thoughts before they even start.

You know how it begins. You get a phone call, an email or something in the mail—and it’s not good news. Immediately, your mind begins racing. This is where the road divides, and you make a choice: Are you going to begin to worry, or will you stand firm in your faith and tell the devil to split? The only way to do the latter is to take that thought captive—immediately! That means to stop it in its tracks, and keep it from being free to roam in your mind.

When you first begin this practice, it may seem like you’re taking worried thoughts captive every two minutes. Gloria Copeland describes her experience when she first learned how to cast her cares on the Lord:

“An anxious thought would pop into my mind, and I would rebuke it. A few minutes later, I would find myself having another worried thought, and I would take it captive. I would say, ‘No, I refuse to take the care of that. Jesus, in accordance with Your Word, I roll the care of that over on You, because I know You care for me.’”

Kenneth and Gloria Copeland pray against fear, worry and doubt in the lives of their Partners every day. Not a Partner? Become one today!

It may be tough at first, but the good news is, if you’ll be diligent to fight that battle against worry by keeping the Word in your heart and in your mouth, the time will come when that Word and the knowledge of God’s faithfulness is so big on the inside of you, you won’t have to fight it anymore.

Action Step:

Once you’ve taken a thought captive, when that worried thought tries to creep back in, immediately begin praying in the spirit. You’ll find it is impossible to worry when your spirit is in line with God’s.

2. Cast Your Cares by Replacing Worry With the Word

“Meditate on [the Word] day and night.” –Joshua 1:8

The next step to casting your cares on Jesus is to replace your worry with the Word. Many people want God to supernaturally remove their worry, but that is not the way to get the peace of God. Peace comes by acting on the Word that says to cast all of your worry and anxiety over on Him. You must replace those thoughts with the Word. Philippians 4:8 (KJV) says to think on whatever things are true, honest, just, pure, lovely and of good report. “If there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”

You are the one who has to control your mind, but you are not without help! The Word says that the peace of God will garrison and mount guard over your heart and mind (Philippians 4:7, AMPC). The Greater One who dwells within you is able to help you as you are obedient to replace your worries with His Word.

Learn 4 Ways to Be Led by the Spirit of God here.

Every time a situation arises, be armed and ready with a response from God’s Word. God’s Word always has an answer to any situation or problem! The more time you spend meditating on His Word, the quicker you will be with your response to the devil, just as Jesus was when the devil tried to tempt Him. No matter what the devil said, Jesus fired back instantly with the truth of God’s Word.

That’s how you need to be, too.

Find A Confession of Faith to Overcome Fear here.

Action Step:

You can’t combat thoughts with thoughts. You combat thoughts with words. Test it yourself! Silently, begin counting from one to 10. Now, out loud say your name. What happened to your counting? It stopped. Your mind had to stop and see what your mouth had to say. When you have a worried thought, speak the Word out loud—it will work every time.

Watch Kenneth Copeland teach you how to cast your cares to receive healing.

3. Cast Your Cares by Getting Rid of False Humility

“Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon him, for he cares for you. –1 Peter 5:6-7 (NKJV)

In 1 Peter 5:6-7, God tells us that it takes humility to cast our cares on Him. What is humility? Contrary to what some may think, true humility is not believing you are unworthy to receive God’s care. Instead, it’s humbling yourself under His mighty hand—the Word of God, and putting it first place (rather than what you think about a situation).

Thinking you have to solve your own problems is also false humility. Remember, when you carry the care, you work, and God rests. When He carries the care because you have cast it on Him, He works, and you rest.

When you humble yourself before God and cast your cares on Him, you are submitting to Him and acknowledging that He has more wisdom and power to handle your situation than you do. You have released yourself and your life to God, trusting Him and obeying His every command. Anything less is pride.

Also notice in 1 Peter 5:6-7, He doesn’t say to cast 75% of your care on Him or everything except worry for your kids. Furthermore, He did not say, “everything but your finances.” No, God clearly instructs us to cast every single worry out of our thinking, and roll them all over onto Him. When you do this, you are humbling yourself before Him, and you can expect Him to go to work on your behalf and exalt you in due time.

If financial struggles have been the cause of your worry, find 5 Ways to Overcome Financial Pressure here.

Here’s an illustration that will help you learn how to cast your cares on Jesus. Let’s say you were standing about 20 feet away from someone. If you tossed the keys to your automobile to that person, those keys still exist, but you don’t have them anymore.

That’s what we need to do with our cares. We must cast them over on the Lord and not take them back! If satan brings a worried thought to your mind, saying, “What if…,” then you can tell him to talk to God about it. It is in His hands, not yours!

Once you do that, changes will start to take place in your life. Problems you’ve been fretting about for years will start being solved. You’ll no longer be tying God’s hands by worrying. His power can begin to operate because you’ve acted in faith and cast your cares on Him!

Action Step:

Every morning when you wake up, make this confession of faith, “I’m a believer. I’m not a doubter. The Word works in me. Right now, I humble myself under the mighty hand of God. I cast all my cares over on Him. From this moment forward, I refuse to worry. Instead, I will pray. I will use my faith and believe, and He’ll exalt me over the problem and over the devil. For I belong to Jesus, and He cares for me!”

4. Cast Your Cares by Wearing All Your Armor

“Put on the whole armor of God.” –Ephesians 6:11 (NKJV)

By now, you probably know that fighting any battle without the whole armor of God is a bad idea. When you’re dealing with worry, it’s no different.

First Thessalonians 5:8 tells us who live in the light to be clearheaded, wearing as our helmet the confidence of our salvation.

Think about where the helmet of salvation sits—over your mind. The helmet protects your thoughts from the lies of the enemy. The helmet also covers your ears—which keeps you from hearing the enemy’s threatening lies.

If you have a tendency to be fearful and to worry, consider what you’re watching on television or listening to. What are you hearing? Programming that is negative (like most news channels) or those that stir up a spirit of fear are not going to feed your faith and protect your thoughts. Guard your heart by guarding your eyes and ears from ideas that will make you think gloom and doom all the time.

When Gloria Copeland has a fearful thought, she responds immediately by saying, “I don’t believe that.” She knows those thoughts are just the devil trying to sell her something, so he can have a door to get in. She doesn’t even give him a chance.

The same is true when you go to bed. Don’t go to bed with a care on your heart! It’s giving the devil an opportunity. Instead, say, “You are not putting that on me, satan, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.” You may have to do that night after night for a while, but the thoughts will eventually go away. Keep that armor on.

Action Step:

Study Ephesians 6, and see how you can use each piece of the armor of God every day to cast your cares on Jesus. Find scriptures (the sword of the Spirit) that cover your situation, write them down, put them on the refrigerator, and read them out loud every day. The Word of God is a weapon that will drive that fear out! Have a game plan in advance.

5. Cast Your Cares by Finding a Faith Buddy

“Encourage one another and build one another up.” –1 Thessalonians 5:11 (ESV)

If you really want to cast your cares and take a stand against worry, find a faith buddy—someone who will hold you accountable for your words, thoughts and actions. We all need at least one person like that in our lives—someone who lives and walks by faith and can call us to a higher level. Now, don’t get mad when you get corrected—correction is love, helping you grow.

Why do we need help in this fight of faith? Gloria Copeland says, “There’s a big difference between Boy Scouts and boot camp. You train how you fight, and you fight how you train.” So, find a faith buddy to train with, and you’ll fight the good fight with power.

Action Step:

Spend time praying and asking the Lord to reveal who would be a good faith buddy for you. Prepare to offer encouragement and accountability in return.

Have a shortage of faith buddies to choose from? Come to the 2019 Southwest Believers’ Convention and find a faith-filled arena full of them!

Watch Kenneth Copeland teach you how to become a care-free Christian.

If you will practice these five practical steps to cast your cares on Jesus, today will be the last day you will ever have a worried thought. Life is full of opportunities to worry, but you don’t have to take them. Now you have an action plan to stop worry before it starts. When you obey God’s Word to cast your cares on Jesus, you will begin to live in the divine peace that only Jesus can give you. This is part of the abundant life, and it belongs to you!

Just look at a few of the sites we visited:

  • Ceasarea, King Herod’s Roman Capital of Israel
  • Mount Carmel, where the prophet Elijah defeated the prophets of Baal
  • Capernaum to see ancient ruins where Jesus would have preached
  • Caesarea Philippi, where Peter made his great confession of faith.
  • Mount of Beatitudes, where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount
  • Mount of Olives
  • Palm Sunday Road, where Jesus entered Jerusalem on a donkey (Zechariah 9:9; Luke 19:28-40)

We swam in the Dead Sea, explored the Western Wall Tunnels, took communion at the Garden Tomb, enjoyed a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, participated in a baptismal service at the Jordan River, planted cypress trees as part of Israel’s effort to replenish the land, heard the siren announcing the beginning of the sabbath while overlooking Jerusalem and praying for its peace (Psalm 122:6) and experienced a time of worship and healing in St. Anne’s Church, located just outside the Pool of Bethesda. It was a refreshing time, and we want to share a few of our favorite moments from the tour with you.

5 Ways to Receive Your Healing Through the Anointing

5 Ways to Receive Your Healing Through the Anointing

Are you tolerating sickness, pain or disease in your life? Enough is enough! Discover these 5 ways to receive your healing through the anointing today!

If you’ve ever attempted to solve a Rubik’s Cube™, you know this: Once it gets jumbled around, it seems nearly impossible to solve! There are a million different possible combinations, requiring the turning of each section at the perfect time and in the perfect way. Most people give up after a few fruitless attempts, leaving such a feat to those who have the desire and patience to conquer the colorful puzzle.

The devil has made a lot of believers feel just the same. He’s jumbled around the idea of healing in our minds until it looks unsolvable—unattainable. He’s tried to convince us that, just like that troublesome little cube, only a select few can figure it out. Here’s the issue—the devil is a liar. If he’s telling you something is complicated, one thing is certain—it isn’t.

You can access every part of the healing anointing in your life. You can be healed—completely. Begin expecting healing today by learning more about these five ways to receive your healing through the anointing.

1. Receive Your Healing by Becoming Manifest-Minded

He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted.” –Job 5:9 (NIV)

The first way to receive your healing through the anointing is to become manifest-minded.

God is a good, loving and compassionate God. He provided for your healing when Jesus went to the cross. In fact, medical science has grouped all sickness and disease into 39 categories, and Jesus took 39 stripes for our healing! God certainly didn’t sacrifice His only Son so only a few could figure out how to receive what He provided in doing that.

Healing is part of your Calvary benefit package. Healing minister Billy Burke says, “God doesn’t heal you because you’re good; He heals you because He’s good.”

It’s time to lay hold of the idea that healing is for you, not just for a select few. And it’s time to shake off any of your own ideas about how God is going to manifest your healing. God is not a one-string guitar. He heals in many different ways through the healing anointing.

What is the purpose of the anointing? To set people free. If you’ve ever had any kind of pain or sickness, you know it holds your body captive. It keeps you from enjoying life to the fullest.

As Billy Burke says, “It’s time to get manifest-minded.” Don’t allow yourself to get so comfortable with something that you don’t think it can go away in a moment. Don’t get used to diabetes, pain medication, neck braces. Don’t be satisfied with being a spectator of other people’s healing. Miracles are real.

The Name of the Lord is a high tower, and the righteous run to it. Stop hesitating. Run to the healing anointing, the healing power of God. Move toward Him, and allow Him to heal you. Say in faith, “If anyone is going to be healed, it’s going to be me.”

Receiving from God is easy. It’s just a matter of removing what’s keeping you from receiving.

2. Receive Your Healing Through a Minister’s Anointing

“And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil.” –Isaiah 10:27 (NKJV)

Just as there is an anointing to teach or preach, there is an anointing to heal. There is an anointing within every believer to lay hands on the sick (we’ll talk more about that later), but there is also a special anointing that God places upon certain people to minister through the healing anointing.

How can you receive healing through a minister’s anointing? Just like any other blessing or promise—by faith. Quite often, the reason healings occur through a minister’s anointing is because people hear the truth about healing in God’s Word presented to them in a fresh, new way—allowing them to build faith to receive their healing.

Kenneth Hagin, a powerful healing minister, said this about receiving healing through a minister’s anointing: “The anointing oil, the minister’s prayer and the laying on of hands are simply methods, or points of contact. In themselves, they do not heal. They are avenues through which we can release our faith in God’s Word.”

In other words, healing can come through an anointed minister, but this is primarily used to gain the attention of unbelievers. As Gloria Copeland says, “Healing is the dinner bell for the unbeliever.” As believers, we are called to receive healing by releasing our faith. So, when you attend a healing meeting, go expecting to receive. Allow the words and actions of the healing minister to build your faith to the point of receiving your healing right in your own chair.

3. Receive Your Healing Through the Anointed Word of God

“As you have believed so let it be done for you.” –Matthew 8:13 (NKJV)

There are hints all through the New Testament of prerequisites for healing. One of them is that hearing comes before healing. Hearing what? Hearing the Word of God. In Mark 5:27, we read about the woman with the issue of blood. When did she receive her healing? “When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment” (NKJV). In Luke 10:17, “great multitudes…came together to hear, and to be healed(NKJV).

Faith comes by hearing (Romans 10:17). One way to receive the healing anointing in your own life is to hear what the Word of God says about it. Read about the love of God, read about the compassion of Jesus, and read about the healings of Jesus. Read about His goodness. If you’re going to listen to what men say about your healing rather than what God says, you’re going to stay sick. If you’re going to listen to what traditions say about life and death rather than what the Word of God says, you’re going to stay in bondage. The traditions of men make the Word of God of no effect.

Gloria Copeland built her faith in this area by reading all four Gospels and the book of Acts three times in 30 days. Getting a concentrated dose of the Word, especially regarding healing and miracles, will build your faith to be healed. Another way to build your faith for healing is to listen to testimonies or faith-filled teaching on healing. Some powerful teachings include Healing School at the Southwest Believers’ Conventions, as well as Miracles on the Mountain healing services with Billy Burke.

As you build your faith, resist the temptation to look at how other healings have occurred. You have to yield to the way God’s doing it in you. Anywhere on the journey, He can step in.

Even if it seems delayed or your symptoms seem worse, put your feet firmly on the Word of God. Don’t move. Persevere. His healing power will come upon you. According to your faith, it will be done to you. Your faith will make you whole.

Billy Burke says, “Surrender to His will, but also surrender to His way.” If your healing comes in small increments, don’t let your faith fade. It might not be all the way, but it’s on the way. Stand your ground and stand on the Word.

Watch this powerful healing testimony and stir your faith to receive!

As you yield to God’s way of healing, tune in your heart to His instructions. He will help you remove hindrances to your healing. Do what He tells you to do! Is there guilt, unforgiveness, anger, bitterness or insecurity in your life? Repent. Make a change. Let God change your entire lifestyle and transform you. Say goodbye and turn your back on that place of sickness, sin, disease, fear, doubt, demonic activity, loss and lack. Get up and follow Jesus; then you’ll be able to lead others out of their problems, too.

Make God’s Word absolutely your final authority. If He says you’re healed, you are healed!

4. Receive Your Healing Through a Corporate Anointing

“And large crowds came to Him, bringing with them those who were lame, crippled, blind, mute, and many others, and they laid them down at His feet; and He healed them.” –Matthew 15:30 (NASB)

While a healing minister can lay hands on individuals in isolated settings, most often they minister healing in a corporate setting. Jesus did the same. There were times when Jesus’ healing Anointing flowed to individuals and other times when it flowed to a crowd. For example, in Matthew 14:36, a multitude came from far and wide to see Jesus, just to have the chance to touch His robe (His Anointing), “and all who touched Him were healed.”

What is different about a corporate anointing, versus the individual laying on of hands? God chooses to minister healing to people in a variety of ways. In a corporate setting, those whose faith is not fully developed in the area of healing can receive healing on the faith of others because of that atmosphere of faith. We see evidence of this in Matthew 15 when large crowds came to Jesus with their loved ones who needed healing. They believed what they had heard and were expecting to see miracles. Their faith gave Jesus’ Anointing room to work.

You see, when you believe for healing—not just for yourself, but for others—you set the table for healing with your faith. Corporate faith coming together creates a powerful atmosphere. Kenneth Hagin said this about coming together for healing: “The greatest anointing of all is the corporate anointing. I can be anointed to minister to the sick and lay hands on people, and a certain percentage of them will get healed through faith and the anointing. But the corporate anointing has a greater, more far-reaching effect.”

On the other hand, if a healing minister visits a church where the people are filled with doubt and unbelief, that anointing will be stifled. This was true in Jesus’ day, too. We know that there were times when Jesus could not heal due to the unbelief of the crowd (Matthew 13:58). He had faith, He was Anointed to heal, but unbelief stopped the flow of the healing anointing.

Just as the faith of a crowd can empower the healing anointing, unbelief can quench it. So when you attend a healing meeting, or when you’re just attending a church service, determine to show up filled with faith. Make a faith contribution to every atmosphere you’re part of, and perhaps your faith will be just what someone else needs to receive their healing.

Watch as Billy Burke ministers healing to a crowd of faith-filled believers.

5. Receive Your Healing by Ministering Healing to Others With the Anointing

“They will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” –Mark 16:18 (NKJV)

One of the most powerful ways to act on your faith for healing is to minister healing to others with the anointing. Some people have the gift of healing—a special anointing—but according to Mark 16:18, every believer has the power and authority to lay hands on the sick and see them recover.

Jesus will heal anything, anyone, anywhere, anytime, if someone will just exercise faith in God. Build your faith so that you will have boldness to lay hands on the sick. And don’t look for immediate results—stand firm in your faith. Healing always comes. Not everyone gets healed, because not everyone will receive it. But when you release your faith—the healing power of God is always released for the taking.

God is ready for unusual miracles, creative miracles, to be seen and believed. There’s nothing too hard for God—not even an incurable disease in its final stages (Luke 5:12-13). And know this: Standing and believing for the healing of others might just be the door that opens to your own healing.

God has given us so many ways to receive healing through the anointing when we allow ourselves to be manifest-minded—not just through healing ministers, but through His Word, through the power of gathering our faith together, and even by allowing us the honor and privilege of laying hands on others. Healing isn’t an impossible puzzle! So, whatever you do, don’t settle for anything less than divine health all your days. Not even the slightest headache should ever be tolerated in your life. Healing belongs to you!
