What an experience! Check out our memorable moments from KCM’s first-ever tour of Israel and see why the Holy Land is forever in our hearts!

KCM’s first-ever tour of Israel, which occurred on May 24 – June 4, certainly lived up to our expectations! Attended by KCM Partners and friends, as well as EMIC church members and Kenneth Copeland Bible College students, God moved in and through those who attended this life-changing event.

Hosted by Pastors George and Terri Pearsons, the 12-day tour allowed us to walk where Jesus, Abraham, Elijah and the disciples had walked. We saw sites we had only read about in Scripture, and seeing those sites up-close allowed the Word of God to come alive and helped stir up our faith in new and miraculous ways. Just look at a few of the sites we visited:

  • Ceasarea, King Herod’s Roman Capital of Israel
  • Mount Carmel, where the prophet Elijah defeated the prophets of Baal
  • Capernaum to see ancient ruins where Jesus would have preached
  • Caesarea Philippi, where Peter made his great confession of faith.
  • Mount of Beatitudes, where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount
  • Mount of Olives
  • Palm Sunday Road, where Jesus entered Jerusalem on a donkey (Zechariah 9:9; Luke 19:28-40)
  • Mount Zion and the Upper Room of the Last Supper
  • The Garden of Gethsemane
  • The oak tree, Alon Moreh, where God appeared to Abraham and promised him the land
  • And so much more!

We swam in the Dead Sea, explored the Western Wall Tunnels, took communion at the Garden Tomb, enjoyed a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, participated in a baptismal service at the Jordan River, planted cypress trees as part of Israel’s effort to replenish the land, heard the siren announcing the beginning of the sabbath while overlooking Jerusalem and praying for its peace (Psalm 122:6) and experienced a time of worship and healing in St. Anne’s Church, located just outside the Pool of Bethesda. It was a refreshing time, and we want to share a few of our favorite moments from the tour with you.

Farewell to Israel

As the tour attendees prepare to leave, they reflect on what the tour meant to them and how God used it to open their eyes and hearts to the Scriptures and the Holy Land.
