4 Testimonies of God’s Manifest Power Through the Ministry of Angels

4 Testimonies of God's Manifest Power Through the Ministry of Angels

Did you know angels are a part of ministering the promise of healing to your body? Let these four testimonies feed your faith!

READING TIME:   7 MINUTES

When you pray and believe for healing, have you ever wondered how it might come to pass? There are many different ways the Lord delivers healing. You can’t expect your healing to happen exactly like someone else’s, but you can always expect it!

According to the word of the Lord through Kenneth Copeland for 2020, this is going to be year of new visions, manifest power and great change. One way we can see this manifest power is through the ministry of angels. In fact, it’s one of the ways the Lord delivers His promise of healing to your body.

You have an angel who has been assigned to minister the promises and blessings of God to you (Hebrews 1:14). Your angel is an operator—capable of doing great things.

Do you need healing today? Kenneth Copeland says, “You’re not in this by yourself. When you activate your faith, you activate your angel.”

Find out more about how God manifests His power with these four testimonies of healing through the ministry of angels. He can do the same thing for you!

Testimony No. 1: Supernatural Surgery Through Angels

Kenneth Copeland is friends with Bishop David Oyedepo who pastors Faith Tabernacle in Lagos, Nigeria. Kenneth often travels to the church to minister to over 115,000 people and has a special relationship with the people there.

Just three years ago, Bishop Oyedepo was flying through the United States and asked if he could come visit Kenneth. During their time together, he shared a powerful story about a supernatural surgery through the ministry of angels that had just occurred.

Here is his story.

A young man, who was about 25 years old at the time, served on staff at Faith Tabernacle. He had suffered a gunshot wound that destroyed his elbow and required an elbow replacement. The device that had been surgically implanted was large and caused constant pain. But there was no alternative.

This young man was known for working tirelessly for the Lord. One day, he worked, served and ministered all day and into the evening during a church service where 130,000 new people had come for ministry.

At the end of the evening, he heard the Lord say to him, You’ve been working hard for Me; now I’m going to work for you. At the time, he didn’t know what God meant. So, he went home and went to bed.

When he woke up the next morning, he looked over, and the elbow joint replacement was lying on the bed next to him. He had a new elbow and was completely healed!

An angel had come and ministered supernatural surgery to carry out God’s creative miracle.

This is just one example of manifest power through the ministry of angels. It’s one of the ways God will carry out His Covenant promise to you.

Testimony No. 2: A New Heart Through Angels

If you have something in your body that isn’t fixable according to the doctors, did you know there is a replacement waiting for you in God’s storeroom? A man named Gary Wood was a friend of Kenneth Copeland. He wrote a powerful book titled A Place Called Heaven, in which he describes what happened to him when he was killed in a car accident at the age of 18.

When he arrived in heaven, a friend of his who had gone to heaven a short time before, met him there and escorted him to what he described as a huge place where there were arms, legs, hearts, brains, shoulders, eyes—every human body part.

He asked his friend, “What is this place?”

His friend said, “This is the spare parts room. The Father has these available for His family. All people have to do is call for them, but most of them don’t.” He told Gary that when people prayed and believed for a miracle, an angel was dispatched to carry it out.

Find out more about the 3 Ways Angels are at Your Service HERE.

That’s what happened to a man who recently testified to Kenneth. He had been struggling with heart trouble and was scheduled for open-heart surgery. As a believer in the Word of God, he had been standing strong and believing for his healing. He hadn’t budged over into fear, doubt or unbelief.

One night, as he was sleeping, he suddenly woke up. He looked up and saw what appeared to be a man standing over him with his hands in his chest, moving things around. It was an angel!

The angel smiled and said, “Everything’s going to be OK. Go back to sleep.”

The man went back to sleep, and when he woke up the next morning, he had a brand-new heart. He never had to have the surgery, and his heart trouble was gone.

That is the healing ministry of angels—to carry out the miracles, blessings and promises of God.

You may not see your angel as this man did, but you can expect your angel to work with you to manifest power in your life. Ask the Lord, “Father, reveal to me how to activate my angel—how I can aid him in ministering to my family and me.”

Stand on the Word of God and believe that He will carry out what He has promised—maybe even by the ministry of angels.

Testimony No. 3: A New Thyroid Through Angels

If you’re wondering if angels only minister healing in your sleep, just ask KCM Partner and Believers’ Voice of Victory magazine writer Melanie Hemry.

In the early 1990s, Melanie became very sick to the point where she didn’t feel she could function. She was so weak, she was unable to take her children to their normal activities. “I felt like the life was draining out of me,” she said.

She didn’t know what it was, but she knew she needed to get help right away.

When she went to see her internist, she was surprised to learn that her thyroid had died. It wasn’t just an underfunctioning thyroid—her thyroid levels were at zero. Her doctor put her on thyroid medication, which he said she would need to take for life.

As a former nurse, Melanie knew it is impossible medically to renew a thyroid. As a Christian with uncompromising faith, she knew it was not impossible for God.

She immediately went to her favorite scripture, 1 John 5:14-15, and reminded herself that when we pray, God hears us; and if we pray according to His will, we will have what we ask Him. So, she prayed and asked God to give her a new thyroid and believed she received it right then.

Then, she stood firm in her faith. Every day, for two years, as she took her thyroid medication, she thanked God for her new thyroid. Then…it happened.

One night she attended the Wednesday night service at Eagle Mountain International Church (EMIC). After the service, she saw a man who she knew had an amazing healing ministry. She felt prompted to approach him and ask him to agree with her for her healing.

She said, “I believe I’ve received a new thyroid. Will you agree with me?” He laid hands on her and prayed for her. As he was praying, she fell out in the Spirit. She shares more:

“It felt like I was under an anesthetic. Then, I felt someone kneel beside me. I felt my neck open up and then felt hands moving things around inside my neck. Nothing hurt me, though. Then, it stopped, and I saw the angel walk away.”

Melanie went back to her hotel and went to bed. When she woke up the next morning, without thinking, she took her thyroid medication. Very soon after, she began to feel very sick. As she considered her symptoms, she recognized them as hyperthyroid symptoms—an overactive thyroid. She realized that her medication had put too much thyroid hormone in her system because she had a brand-new thyroid!

She knew the angel had ministered a new thyroid to her body. She stopped taking her medication, and when she went back to her doctor, he tested her and found that her thyroid levels were normal. And they remain normal today!

Of her miraculous healing, Melanie says, “I believe that I was calling on the resurrection power of Jesus to bring me a new thyroid. That power resurrected my thyroid in the same way it resurrected Jesus.”

Sometimes we forget we have that power on the inside of us. Our faith—unwavering—has the power to release the blessings and promises of God in our lives. And it just might be an angel who ministers His glory and manifest power to us.

Do you need healing today? Take it from someone who has been there. Melanie says, “God doesn’t lie. You have to choose whether you’re going to believe your circumstances or the Word of God. Always choose God.”

Testimony No. 4: A Supernatural Bypass Through Angels

Kenneth Copeland is one of the healthiest 83-year-olds we know. He certainly is living out supernatural health before us! He eats right, exercises and confesses healing regularly.

Just a few months ago, however, Kenneth noticed he was experiencing shortness of breath, and one of his physicians detected a whooshing sound in his neck. He advised him to get it checked out.

Before he even had a chance to make an appointment, he stood on the Word of God, and declared, “Thank You, Jesus! I take my new heart! I take it right now. I have it, and I’m so grateful to You for it. And I forgive if I have anything against anyone.”

Need a new body part of your own? Learn how to receive one HERE.

At his physical a few months later, he learned his body was still not making enough oxygen. It turned out that one of the valves in his heart was not closing as it should. He was scheduled for an angiogram the next day.

At the appointment the next day, the nurse and doctor both listened to his heart before the test and said they didn’t understand why he was there. They didn’t hear anything but a healthy heart! They went ahead with the angiogram and the findings were miraculous.

The doctor said, “There’s one artery that is completely blocked, but it bypassed itself.” Healed in the Name of Jesus!

“I had bypass surgery and didn’t know it!” Kenneth said. “Sometime between March 3 and March 4 a ministering angel operated on me and delivered healing to my heart. I have a new heart!” he said.

You, too, can see the manifest power declared in the word of the Lord for 2020 come alive in your own life! These four testimonies of healing through the ministry of angels are a powerful way to help you stir your own faith for healing. Healing belongs to you! Give your angels a chance to deliver all God has promised to you. Receive your healing now!

Remembering Reinhard Bonnke and Looking Forward to the Future

Remembering Reinhard Bonnke

Reinhard Bonnke Plundered Hell and Populated Heaven!

He was only 10 years old, yet already he knew what he wanted to do with his life.

While many of his friends dreamed of becoming firemen, policemen, doctors and the like, this small, young German boy had but one burning ambition: “I want to be a missionary to Africa!”

Reinhard Bonnke was determined, and nothing could coax him from his chosen path.

At first, many were skeptical of his seemingly overnight decision. But even through their misgivings, no one could deny the lad’s obvious dedication to his call.

His desire to serve God in Africa became so overwhelming, that a nickname was coined for him among his friends. They called him “The Little Missionary.”

A Confirmation

Many years later, in February 1984, in Soweto, South Africa, Kenneth and Gloria Copeland sat in a small trailer, across from a now older Bonnke, and his wife, Annie. It was the first time they’d met the intense young evangelist, and suddenly the spirit of prophecy came upon Brother Copeland.

First, Kenneth prophesied that Bonnke would one day preach to millions, a prophecy that was fulfilled in November 2000 when, during a six-day crusade Bonnke held in Lagos, Nigeria, 6 million people registered to hear the gospel preached. On the final night of the meeting, 1,093,475 people received salvation!

But when they shook hands to leave, the Lord spoke yet another word to Reinhard through Brother Copeland. He said, Reinhard, stay prepared. There is coming an hour when I’m going to send you back to Germany to do some things because I am going to take that Berlin Wall down and I’m going to do it miraculously and I want you to be ready with the gospel when I do.

Five years later, the Lord made that prophecy about the Berlin Wall public when, on Sunday morning, June 4, 1989, Brother Copeland stood before the congregation of Eagle Mountain International Church and prophesied: The Berlin Wall will come down. Five months later, on Nov. 9, 1989, it did!

“No one was allowed to preach openly in Eastern Europe one day, and suddenly all of Europe was open the next,” Bonnke would later recall during an interview with the Believer’s Voice of Victory magazine. “When our God decides it’s time for change, the impossible melts before Him like butter on a griddle.”

Change is indeed what happened in the years that followed, as evangelist Reinhard Bonnke, who went home to be with the Lord last December, eventually saw nearly 80 million documented decisions made for Jesus Christ through his missionary work in Africa and other parts of the world.

In 2000, Bonnke stood before a supernatural outpouring of 1.3 million people as they shouted, “I claim my flame in Jesus’ Name!” It was the largest gathering ever recorded in the history of the meetings held by Christ for all Nations, a global evangelistic association he founded in 1974, with a heart for the continent of Africa. But more was yet to come—the fulfillment of a divine connection made 16 years earlier, when Brother Copeland prophesied to him.

Referring to that prophecy, Bonnke recalled that Brother Copeland had said to him: The day will come when you’ll see a million people saved in one service.

“In those days, it didn’t look like that could happen,” Bonnke said. “We had the world’s biggest tent, but it could only hold 34,000.”

But on Nov. 12, 2000, the final night of the Lagos crusade, that prophecy was fulfilled.

“When I read the crusade statistics, tears flowed from my eyes,” Bonnke said.

That meeting also marked Bonnke’s return to Nigeria after a nine-year ban following a Muslim riot that killed hundreds of people. Angry at the devil for hindering God’s plan in Nigeria, Bonnke made a faith demand to receive a 900% return in souls for everything the devil stole during those nine years.

“At first we averaged 100,000 people coming for salvation each week,” Bonnke said. “Later the weekly average jumped to a million!”

Daniel Kolenda reflects on the value of the decades-long Partnership between Reinhard Bonnke and Kenneth Copeland Ministries.

Populating Heaven

From Cape Town in South Africa, to Cairo and around the world, Reinhard Bonnke and his Christ for all Nations evangelistic team have journeyed hundreds of thousands of miles in an effort to spread the message of God. And for much of that time, Kenneth Copeland Ministries has played a major role in assisting, both through prayer and by helping to finance the mass evangelism campaigns put on by Bonnke through Christ for all Nations.

In the early years, Bonnke held meetings in a tent that accommodated just 800 people. But, as attendance steadily increased, larger and larger tents had to be purchased, until finally, in 1984, he commissioned the construction of the world’s largest mobile structure—a tent capable of seating 34,000 people! To transport this mountain of canvas and steel required the use of 19 semitrucks which presented a financial dilemma for Bonnke, who turned to his Christian colleagues around the world. Among the religious organizations that came to Bonnke’s aid was KCM, which financed the purchase of two of the needed semitrucks.

Today, KCM continues to share in the last-days harvests by supporting the mass evangelism campaigns conducted by Christ for all Nations, now under the leadership of Daniel Kolenda. A modern-day missionary evangelist, Kolenda has led more than 21 million people to Christ face-to-face through massive open-air evangelistic campaigns in some of the most dangerous, difficult and remote locations on earth.

“Years ago,” Reinhard recalled during an interview, “the Holy Spirit spoke to my heart, Reinhard, you are going to plunder hell and populate heaven for Calvary’s sake.” Ever since, Bonnke has done exactly that.

Reflecting recently on his personal and ministry relationship with Reinhard Bonnke, Brother Copeland said:

“The only time I ever preached on Reinhard’s platform, he said, ‘I want you to give an invitation for people to come receive the Holy Spirit.’ This was a long time before there were huge crowds. I never had the privilege of seeing personally one of those large, huge crowds like that…. He had just finished preaching about the Holy Spirit, and I gave this simple little invitation. I said to the crowd, ‘If you would like to come receive the Spirit of God, speaking with other tongues, come on up to the platform.’

“I wasn’t expecting a stampede! Nine thousand people rushed that platform that night!

“I’m so excited that he’s in the arms of Jesus, but I miss him already. “I know a large part of the prosperity; the financial prosperity and the tremendous financial growth of Kenneth Copeland Ministries was because I had the honor of being partners with the greatest soul winner of our time, and I’m thrilled. Reinhard’s homegoing is not the end. It’s just the beginning…Reinhard is not a was, he still is. He just moved. He just left town. Left his body here for a few days and moved to heaven.”

5 Reasons Why Faith Specialists Will See Manifest Power in 2020

5 Reasons Faith Specialists Will See God's Manifest Power in 2020

Here are five reasons why faith specialists will see manifest power in 2020, and how you can become a faith specialist yourself.

READING TIME: 6 MINUTES

Imagine you own a 1961 Chevrolet Corvette, like Jerry Savelle. Now also imagine you’ve spent years (and plenty of money) working to restore it to mint condition. You’ve given it a special place in your garage, and you put considerable effort into taking care of it. One day, as you’re driving the sparkling beauty, it begins making a banging sound under the hood. Uh-oh. Something’s not right.

What are you going to do?

Would you just drop it off at the corner oil change place? Of course not!

You wouldn’t just turn to anyone—you would call a specialist. Someone who has extensive experience and is highly skilled in dealing with classic cars. All the hard work and money you’ve invested is worth protecting.

What about your whole life? How important is that? How important are your family, health and finances?

Those things are all in your hands—in the care of your faith. You’ve invested a lot in them, and you care about them deeply. Even more than that 1961 Corvette, your life needs to be in the care of an expert. When trials come, or you’re facing the challenges of day-to-day living, you don’t want to be in an amateur state of faith. You need to become a faith specialist to see manifest power in your life!

The word of the Lord through Kenneth Copeland for the year 2020 speaks of an increase in manifest power among Christians and in the Church. (Read the word of the Lord for 2020 HERE.)

You can be part of this increase of God’s display of power in your own life by moving from beginner to pro with your faith. Here are five reasons why faith specialists will see manifest power in 2020, and how you can become a faith specialist yourself.

1. Faith Specialists Stay in Their Calling

Some people have criticized Kenneth Copeland for spending the majority of his time preaching on faith. He makes no apologies for this. “That’s my calling,” he says. “It’s my job.”

In following the specific call on his life, Brother Copeland has kept himself from being distracted by the criticisms or demands of others who would like to pull him off course. He knows that it takes the entire Body of Christ to present a complete picture—no one person should try to achieve this. While he flows in the specialty of faith, others flow in healing, the strength of families or preserving biblical values in the public square.

He shared recently about the importance of faith specialists staying in their calling.

“We are at a place right now in the kingdom of God where we are required to understand the ministry of a pastor. He is called to cover The WORD of God, but it is very necessary for a pastor to know the calling of his church and stay in that calling.”

In other words, if the calling of a church is to major on faith, evangelism, healing or any other flow, that’s where the focus should be—that should be that pastor’s specialty. Just as there are general practitioners who practice general family medicine, there are also specialists.

Your wealth—spiritually and otherwise—is in your calling. And when you’re in your calling, you’ll see an increase in manifest power in 2020. Find out what you’re called to and stay in it. (Use these 3 Simple Tips for Finding Your Calling.) Don’t try to anoint yourself. Just be available.

 2. Faith Specialists Are Bold

Aside from knowing their calling, another reason why faith specialists will see power manifest this year is because they are bold. Proverbs 28:1 tells us, “The godly are as bold as lions.”

Bold about what?

  • Bold in responding to the Holy Spirit.
  • Bold in obeying the Word of God.
  • Bold in laying hands on the sick.
  • Bold in claiming covenant rights.
  • Bold in speaking the truth to the world.
  • Bold all the time!

Some people see bold as brash, but that isn’t the biblical definition of boldness. You should always follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, and let everything you do be done in love. Faith specialists are bold with a holy boldness—one that won’t shrink back when the world speaks or when adverse circumstances come knocking at the door. That’s how they’ll see an increase in manifest power in 2020!

If you want to be a faith specialist and see that same power this year, learn to be bold! Ask God to help you develop the kind of faith that lives boldly for Him.

Watch as Kenneth Copeland teaches you to be bold with your words.

3. Faith Specialists Act on Their Faith

As we’ve discussed so far, faith specialists stay in their calling and live boldly. Faith specialists are also set apart from other believers because they do this…

Act on their faith.

The difference between someone who just dabbles in faith and a faith specialist is in their actions. Faith specialists don’t wait until they see a manifestation to act on the Word of God—they act on their faith before they see any evidence at all. That is why they will be recipients of the increased manifest power in 2020.

There was a pastor who was believing God to build a church building. When he felt in his spirit that God had given him permission to move forward, he praised and thanked Him. But God wanted more. He wanted action, so He told the pastor to step out.

Though he didn’t have the money to build the entire building, he did have the money to dig a hole. So that’s what he did. That church building is sitting there today—and it was built completely debt free.

A faith specialist doesn’t just believe the Word of God and speak the Word of God—he or she acts on that faith. Just as the woman with the issue of blood did when she reached out to touch Jesus’ robe and the four men did when they lowered their friend to Jesus for healing.

When Kenneth Hagin was believing for his healing at age 17, he first believed the Word, then spoke the Word. All that was left was an action. Lying paralyzed from the waist down in his bed, he pushed one leg over the side, then the other. Once he was on the floor, he began to pull himself up. By the time he had done so, he was healed! His action brought a manifestation to what he already knew to be true.

James 2:26 (KJV) says, “Faith without works is dead.” No works equals no faith. A faith specialist always puts action to faith to see results. You will experience the manifest power of God as you do this in 2020 and beyond!

4. Faith Specialists Operate From the Inside Out

You’ll never find faith specialists talking about their natural circumstances as if they were final. They’ve spent too long in the Word of God to believe circumstances over what God has said. So, when a bad report comes, they don’t lock onto it—they look inside where truth resides. They operate from the inside out. (Find out how you can tap into the power inside you HERE.)

Faith specialists don’t waste time searching “out there somewhere” for the power of God. They already know it’s right there with them—living inside them—waiting to be accessed. They understand that, as born-again Christians, God is living on the inside of them, and He is waiting to give them the answers to every question or problem they encounter.

So, when physical symptoms show up, they don’t make the world’s ways their first line of defense; they speak the Word and listen for the guidance of the Holy Spirit. When strife tries to come into their families, they don’t run to the internet—they turn to the power of the Spirit of God living inside them. (Learn to be led by the Spirit of God in any situation with these practical tips.)

Because of their connection with the living God on the inside, they are going to have a front-row seat to God’s manifest power in 2020. Does that sound like you? It can be!

5. Faith Specialists Guard Their Words

Of all the other traits we’ve talked about, here’s where the difference really comes in. A person’s words are a total giveaway of what’s in his or her heart (Luke 6:45). Faith specialists are easy to find because they guard their words.

You won’t find faith specialists sounding anything like the evening news or people on the street. They won’t proclaim that they get the flu every year or that they’ll never be able to afford a new car. They don’t quote statistics about divorce rates or homes damaged by tornadoes. That’s not their source of information.

Faith specialists know you have what you say, so they keep their words in line with the Word of God as if their lives depend on it—because they know they do. And they certainly won’t be found speaking unbelief, strife or unforgiveness. If any of those things try to wedge their way into their lives, you’ll likely hear faith specialists say something like this:

“Devil, you’re not coming in my house, my ministry or my body, or out of my mouth. I will not allow it in the Name of Jesus!”

They drive out the devil’s strategies like you would a diamondback snake who’d found its way into your house.

No matter what happens in the lives of faith specialists, they speak positive words only and keep the negative words that contradict God’s Word out of their vocabulary. They’ve learned that the life they have now—the manifest power they’re experiencing—is the result of yesterday’s words. And they have every intention of framing a prosperous tomorrow with well-guarded words spoken today. (Learn how you can change your life circumstances with your words HERE.)

If these five reasons why faith specialists will see manifest power in 2020 seem tough to master—remember one thing—no one becomes a specialist at anything overnight. It takes practice! Keep practicing these traits, and you’ll become a faith specialist, living an amazing life, sooner than you think.

Need a Creative Healing Miracle? How to Stand in Faith for A New Body Part

How to Stand in Faith for a New Body Part

Heart trouble, thyroid issues, struggling lungs? You don’t have to settle for it! Learn how to receive a new body part by faith.

READING TIME: 6 MINUTES

Carrying a dead baby in her arms, a woman in Africa approached the tent where T.L. and Daisy Osborn were holding a healing meeting. She came to receive. The mother put the baby in Daisy’s arms and asked if she would pray for her child to live. Daisy took the baby and prayed over her, rebuking the devil and loosing the healing, resurrecting power of Jesus. Suddenly, she began to feel movement in the blanket. The baby was alive!

When the mother opened the blanket to look at her daughter, she began to scream and shout. When Daisy asked why the woman was screaming, the mother told her that her baby had been born with only one eye, but now she had two! When Jesus restored her to life, He also gave her a new eye!

This is only one of many testimonies of God’s people supernaturally receiving a creative healing miracle with new body parts. Sometimes, He replaces those that are missing, and at other times, He will replace a diseased or malfunctioning body part with a perfect, brand-new one.

Do you need a creative healing miracle in the form of a new body part? Maybe a new heart, a new thyroid or a new kidney? Or how about a new limb or new eyes? Whatever you may need, know this—God has a part in a storehouse just for you. He desires that you be healed and made whole. He wants to restore you to perfect health!

Whatever creative healing miracle you need today, you can learn how to stand in faith for a new body part with these faith-priming steps.

1. Don’t Settle Into Your Current Circumstances

“You do not have because you do not ask.” –James 4:2 (NIV)

  “I can’t exercise. I have a bad heart.”

“My lungs just can’t take the stairs anymore.”

 “I have a bad knee.”

Do any of these sound like you? Maybe you’ve been told by a doctor (or many doctors)—or even just your body—that this diagnosis is your life, and you may as well accept it. Perhaps it has gone on so long, you’ve become used to it and embraced it as part of your life—even making multiple changes to your life to accommodate your body.

The first step to priming your faith to receiving a new body part is to not settle into your current circumstance. Don’t accept it, don’t accommodate it and don’t receive it!

God’s will for you is healing and WHOLENESS. You are called to walk in supernatural and divine health, so you can fulfill God’s purpose and plan for your life. He wants you to live long and strong on the earth!

Watch Kenneth and Gloria Copeland teach you how to use the Six I’s of Faith.

If you’ve accommodated a less-than-healthy body up to this point, it’s time to turn it around. Start telling your body that this is over, and you will not tolerate anything missing or broken any longer. Begin to see yourself completely restored to wholeness, and make plans accordingly.

2. Believe It’s God’s Will to Give You a New Body Part

“Do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.” –Ephesians 5:17, NIV

If you doubt for a moment that God wants you well, you won’t receive what you need. Until faith rises up, study the scriptures about faith and healing. Learn why it is God’s will for you to be healed.

Here are some ways you can build your faith in the area of healing:

  • Watch Healing School with Gloria Copeland on VICTORY.
  • Read one of Gloria’s favorite books on healing: Christ the Healer by F.F. Bosworth.
  • Read Kenneth’s favorite book on healing: God’s Will to Heal by Keith Moore. Download it FREE here.
  • Watch healing testimonies on the KCM YouTube® page.

If you already know God’s will for you is total and complete healing, continue to renew your mind. Read and speak healing scriptures every day. Play healing scripture CD in your room at night. Speak only faith—not fear or doubt.

Then praise, praise, praise and praise some more. Thank God for His healing power! Thank Him that it is His will to heal you. Thank Him! He is worthy of our praise.

Believe it is God’s will to give you a new body part. Thank Him and praise Him for it before you see that new part. It is surely on the way.

3. Take Your New Body Part by Faith

“If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.” –Matthew 21:22 (NIV)

KCM Partner and Believers’ Voice of Victory magazine writer Melanie Hemry needed a new thyroid. Her thyroid wasn’t just underfunctioning—it was dead. Her levels were at zero. She felt so weak she was unable to function in her daily life. “I felt like the life was draining out of me,” she said.

Her doctor put her on a thyroid medication, which he said she would need to take for the rest of her life. As a former nurse, Melanie knew it would be impossible in the natural to renew a thyroid.

She took her new body part by faith.

Find 15 Scriptures to Stand on for a New Body Part HERE.

Then, she stood firm in her faith. Every day for two years, as she took her thyroid medication, she thanked God for her new thyroid. Then…it happened.

One night, she attended the Wednesday night service at Eagle Mountain International Church (EMIC). After the service, she felt led to ask a man she knew was anointed in the area of healing to agree with her for her new thyroid.

He laid hands on her and prayed for her. The next morning, when she took her thyroid medication, she felt very sick. She went to the doctor and learned that she no longer needed the medication at all. She had a brand-new thyroid!

Melanie took her new thyroid by faith. She believed she received it when she prayed, and she wouldn’t let anything move her from her belief. It took two years before her new body part showed up, but she didn’t let the passage of time dissuade her from believing she would see the goodness of the Lord.

You can do the same. Ask the Lord according to His Word for whatever new body part you need. Stand on the Word, and refuse to move until you see it manifest. You can claim a new body part by faith!

As you stand on the Word, declare what you need. Say, “In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I claim my new heart. I have it. I take it. I thank You, Jesus, for my new heart, and I forgive anyone and everyone I have anything against.”

4. Stand Your Ground for Your New Body Part Until It Manifests

“Having done all…stand firm.” –Ephesians 6:13 (NIV)

How long are you willing to stand your ground until your new body part manifests? A day? A week? A year? Ten years?

There are times when new body parts are instantaneous, while others are a process. As Kenneth Copeland says, “Once you’re willing to settle in forever, you won’t be there for long.”

And don’t share your journey with just anyone. There are more people in the world who don’t have faith for healing than those who do. Unless you feel led to do so, keep quiet and stay in faith. If you do have someone you can trust to come into agreement with you, there’s great power in agreement.

Kenneth and Gloria Copeland stand in agreement with their Partners every day. Not a Partner? Become one today!

Don’t watch the clock—just keep standing. Make it part of your daily routine—thank God for your new body part, thank Him for His miraculous power in your life, praise Him and give Him glory even before you see the manifestation.

Determine that you are going to get that new knee, new heart, new hip, new eardrum. Then, don’t back down. Be patient. Be willing to settle in for a good fight of faith. Your miracle body part will be here sooner than you think!

You can stand in faith for a new body part and receive a creative healing miracle when you put these faith-priming steps to work in your life. Don’t think that something like a new body part is too big for God. It’s easy for Him! And He wants to do it for you. Have faith, expect to receive, and keep standing. We here at KCM stand in agreement with you today—you have a new body part in Jesus’ Name!

Watch Kenneth Copeland teach you how to receive the healing ministry of Jesus.

Meet Billy—Healed of Cancer at Age 9

Billy Burke was 9 years old when he was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer, with only hours to days to live. Discover how Billy was healed of cancer!

“When she touches you, you will be healed.”

Those are the words Billy Burke’s grandmother spoke over and over again to 9-year-old Billy. They were on their way to a Kathryn Kuhlman meeting, and Billy’s grandmother was determined to prepare him for his miracle. It was his last hope. Young Billy suffered from terminal brain cancer. A woman of steadfast faith, his grandmother had discharged him from the hospital against doctors’ wishes and taken him to the meeting.

Billy Burke as a young boy.

She never wavered from her belief that Billy would be healed if only she could get him to a Kathryn Kuhlman meeting. She had listened to Kathryn Kuhlman on the radio and had heard the results of many miracles on her radio broadcast.

Billy Burke as a young boy.

When they arrived at the healing meeting, the ushers brought Billy forward, right in front of Ms. Kuhlman. He remembered his grandmother’s words: “When she touches you, you will be healed.” He stood there fully expecting his grandmother’s words to come to pass. And that’s exactly what happened! Ms. Kuhlman laid her hands on him, and his cancer left. Billy was healed!

He couldn’t deny the work of the Lord and the Holy Spirit in his life, but that didn’t mean Billy’s spiritual path would be straight. As a teenager, he walked away from the Lord and dove headfirst into sin and rebellion.

But just as his grandmother didn’t give up when Billy was physically sick, she refused to give up when he was spiritually sick. With the agreement of Billy’s mother, his grandmother fought for her grandson’s rededication on her knees in prayer. She prayed that the healing Jesus who had saved his life would bring him back into relationship with the Lord. Those prayers weren’t in vain. They were like a blanket that wrapped around him. No matter how far away from the Lord he walked, he could feel them.

When his younger brother died as a result of a car crash with a drunk driver, Billy hit rock bottom. He couldn’t fathom why God had spared his life while his brother was killed at the young age of 19. The tragedy brought him to his knees, sparking a spiritual renewal and a moment of clarity in who God is.

Soon after, Billy received a call from Maggie Hartner, Kathryn Kuhlman’s secretary. She invited him to attend one of Ms. Kuhlman’s meetings at Stambaugh Auditorium in Youngstown, Ohio. When he arrived, he had the privilege of meeting Kathryn Kuhlman, and she invited him to share his healing testimony.

Sharing his testimony ignited a new phase in Billy’s life. He saw for the first time how the Lord could use him, how he could share the Lord’s love, compassion and healing power with others. He began sharing his testimony through Kathryn Kuhlman Ministries, introducing others to the same healing Jesus that he had met.

When Ms. Kuhlman went home to be with the Lord, Billy connected with Pastor Ralph and Allene Wilkerson of Melodyland Christian Center in Anaheim, Calif. The couple had been closely connected with Kathryn Kuhlman, so Billy had a peace about working with them. That divine appointment allowed Billy to learn even more about the ministry of the Holy Spirit, specifically that miracles are still happening. As Billy knew from firsthand experience, God still heals!

Watch Billy Burk share his testimony of being healed of cancer at age 9!

Today, God continues to call and use Billy Burke, giving him a message and a testimony that appeals to people across denominational lines. His compassionate healing ministry has resulted in many dedicating or rededicating their lives to the Lord, in setting captives free from spiritual strongholds, and in physical healings. This powerful minister of the Lord wants all to know that the same healing Jesus whom he met at 9 years old, the One who saved his physical life as a child and saved his spiritual life as a young adult, is still working miracles today.

Do you need healing in your body? Does someone you love need a miracle? God is the same yesterday, today and forever! Come sit under the powerful healing ministry of Billy Burke at Eagle Mountain International Church during the upcoming Miracles on the Mountain meeting, Feb. 25-26, 2021. Come expecting your miracle because the Healer will be there!

How to Create a Personal Vision Board for 2020

How to create a personal vision board for 2020

Is a personal vision the missing link between you and your dreams? Find out how to change your life in 2020 by creating a personal vision board for 2020.

READING TIME: 5 MINUTES

The word of the Lord through Kenneth Copeland is that 2020 is a year of new visions, manifest power and great change! Are you ready to walk in all that God has for you this year? One of the ways you can see God’s manifest power and great change in your life is by getting crystal clear on your personal vision for 2020.

You know, it isn’t often someone can say they’re living the dream. Living well below your deep desires is expected, even preached. Yet, God created you for a purpose, a purpose that includes fulfilling the great plans He has for you (Jeremiah 29:11).

When you’re living a life that honors God, He gives you desires and dreams straight from His heart to yours. But so often, we find ourselves stuck and not achieving the things that we and the Lord so deeply desire for our lives.

But what if there was a clear difference between those who achieve their goals and dreams and those who continue living the same life day after day—a difference so simple, even a child could do it and see results?

There is! Keep reading.

In a recent study, a professor at Virginia Tech uncovered some jaw-dropping facts. When he asked a large group of people, “What are your goals for your life?”—he found the following:

  • 80% of Americans said they did not have goals for their future.
  • 16% had goals but had never written them down.
  • 4% had written their goals, but never looked at them again.
  • 1% had written their goals and looked at them regularly.

Who is this 1% of Americans who write goals and look at them regularly? They are MILLIONAIRES!

Would you like to be in this elite group of high achievers? You can! A proven way to help you move into the most successful 1% of people is by creating a vision board.

What is a vision board?

A vision board is a collection of images, words or objects that represents the dreams and goals you have for your life. Not just the simple ones, either, but also those that may seem impossible right now. It’s a representation of the life you’ve always wanted to live. As a born-again believer, your dreams and visions are quite often placed inside you by God Himself—they are His will for your life (Psalm 37:4).

To have a vision for the future is imperative to accomplishing that vision. Because if you don’t have a vision of where you want to go, you likely won’t go anywhere.

It’s time to get a vision for 2020 by creating a personal vision board, so you can get on track to living the life you’ve always wanted. Here’s how to start.

1. Identify Your Vision for 2020

The first thing to do is to identify your vision for 2020. It’s an essential step toward achieving your goals.

You may have a vision to become debt free, serve more in your church, give more to causes that are important to you, buy a house, write a book, get healthy, take dance lessons…the list of dreams can be as varied as the people who dream them.

This step might be difficult for you. Some people haven’t allowed themselves to dream for so long, it can be challenging to get out of your head. If this is you, spend some time praying and seeking the Lord about what He’s planned for your life. God’s Word is a wonderful place to help you find many promises about His plan for you. Give yourself permission to dream with God.

Kenneth Copeland says that Faith Life Church, pastored by Keith Moore, is one of the most successful congregations he’s ever seen—and he attributes it to this:

“This congregation uses a vision board. Do you have a vision board? You should.”

One thing this congregation puts on their vision board annually is to pay the entire budget of the KCM Branson Victory Campaign. And they’ve accomplished this vision every year. By writing the vision, looking at it, praying and believing God, they accomplish great things.

That’s what a personal vision board will do for you in 2020.

Kenneth has a vision board himself. He emphasizes that scripture warns us that “where there is no vision, the people perish” (Proverbs 29:18, KJV). Of this verse, he says, “That’s talking about Bible hope. That vision begins to grow inside you. Not just any wild imagination…promises that cover your situation.”

Having vision and purpose gives you something to look forward to—something to reach for. But as long as your vision is impaired, or you can’t see it, you’re going to stay in the same place.

When you create a vision board for 2020, you give yourself permission to dream, and it allows you to get crystal clear about what you want in life. Of course, you want to make sure your dreams line up with God’s Word. If you’re not sure, check out 3 Ways to Know if the Desires of Your Heart Are God’s Will.

Terri Savelle Foy, Jerry Savelle’s daughter and well-known vision board expert, offers this advice: “Ask yourself how you want this year to end. Imagine it’s Dec. 31, and you say, ‘This has been the most amazing year of my life.’ What needs to happen for you to say that about 2020?”

Proverbs 23:7 says as a man thinks in his heart, so is he. Whatever you think about and dream about, that’s what you will become. How do you want this coming year to look?

2. Write Down Your Vision for 2020

Whatever you answered that would make this the most amazing year of your life, the next step is to write it down. It could be healing, a new car, a promotion, travel, an increase in your salary, a ministry, a family. You’ll likely have a list! Include your goals—both short- and long-term—and look for scriptures that confirm and support your dreams.

Then, you’ll be ready to create your vision board. How the board looks will be personalized to your taste. You may have a small corkboard on your desk or a large board hanging on a wall. It could be a laminated sheet in your Bible; a notebook full of pages you can flip through; or a fancy, crafty display in a room in your house. You may even have a pocket-sized version you carry everywhere with you.

Gloria Copeland had a vision board long before vision-boarding became popular. When she and Kenneth were first married, she had a dream of living in what she considered to be the perfect home for their family. She had written her dream down on a list of goals she had for the year.

Then, she got to work. Every time she came across a picture in a magazine that had an element of the house she desired, she’d cut it out and put it in a binder. She also collected fabric samples and furniture ideas, and sketched architecture plans on graph paper. Every now and then, she would pull out all her dreams and visions about the house, and she would spread them out all over the dining room table. It kept growing and growing!

After doing this for years and years, one day God answered, and Gloria got her dream home. She and Kenneth still live there today!

Had it not been for Gloria’s determination and vision, her dream would never have been realized. But she didn’t just wish for it, she had Bible hope, and kept that hope alive through her vision board.

So don’t delay! Grab a pen and paper and make a list of your dreams and goals. Don’t be embarrassed or ashamed, and certainly don’t think small. Pour out your heart on the page. You may even surprise yourself!

Then get to work creating a vision board. (Use this printable Vision Board Supply Checklist to help you get started)

3. Assign a Time Frame to Your Visions

As you create your vision board, don’t just put down goals without attaching a time frame to them. Name a specific day or time. “The vision is yet for an appointed time” (Habakkuk 2:3, KJV). Appoint a time for your dreams. For example, rather than just saying, “I will lose 25 pounds,” say, “I will lose 25 pounds by May 15.”

As you work on creating your board, prepare to hear the Lord speak to you. When you set a goal, the first thing He’s going to do is some fine-tuning in your life that will expedite your journey to your dreams. He’ll give you exclusive insights into where to go and what to do, and He’ll also correct your character to keep you in line for a blessing.

Also, be prepared to sow a seed toward your dreams. Terri Savelle Foy says, “Every dream begins with a seed.” If you’re seeking a promotion, God may ask you to sow into someone else’s success and promotion first. Whatever it is—do it!

Then…wait with faith and patience.

The Contemporary English Version of Habakkuk 2:2-3 says, “Then the Lord told me: ‘I will give you my message in the form of a vision. Write it clearly enough to be read at a glance. At the time I have decided, my words will come true. You can trust what I say about the future. It may take a long time, but keep on waiting, and it will happen!’”

4. Keep Your Vision Board Before Your Eyes

Remember—that 1% of people who find success are those who keep their dreams and goals in plain view all the time. Out of sight, out mind, right? So, whatever you do—keep it before your eyes!

Place your vision board in a place where you’ll see it every day. Here are some ideas:

  • On your desk
  • On your refrigerator
  • On your nightstand
  • In your Bible (if it’s pocket-sized)
  • On a wall where you walk by every day that is private to you.

Look at your vision board every day. Pray over it, and believe God for your dreams to come to pass. Thank Him in advance!

For how long?

As long as it takes. Don’t ever lay down your faith.

While you’re waiting, be sure you keep your words in line with your goals. Don’t speak against them! And pursue God with everything in you—He is the key to your success, after all.

You can create a personal vision board for 2020 and see your dreams come true. Remember, 2020 is the year of new visions, manifest power and great change. So, don’t get stuck in neutral this year. Put your goals in front of you and go after them. You can live your dreams!

#KindnessMatters in South Africa

#kindnessmatters in South Africa

We are excited to announce that #KindnessMatters has gone global! In the last few months, KCM Africa has provided food to the hungry and given hope to the hopeless.

Through #KindnessMatters, we have done what Jesus told us to do when He said, “‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!’” (Matthew 25:40).

Now, the #KindessMatters outreach has extended around the world through the work of our South Africa Kenneth Copeland Ministries office. Just look at these powerful expressions of God’s love in action.

#KindnessMatters in Johannesburg, South Africa

In December, KCM Africa partnered with Rhema Faith Life Church to pack and distribute 250 buckets full of groceries to a poor community in Johannesburg, South Africa. What a blessing it was to make a tangible difference in the lives of people in that city!

#KindnessMatters in Krugersdorp, South Africa

Also in December, KCM Africa provided more food containers to two informal settlements in Krugersdorp, South Africa. One hundred families living below the poverty line, without running water, electricity or any hope received a container filled with enough food to see them through the Christmas season.

#KindnessMatters in Mahikeng, South Africa

Then at the dawn of the new year, KCM Africa loved on a local community by sowing 48 gift vouchers to families in Mahikeng, South Africa. This practical ministry helped those in need see the love of Jesus up close. The vouchers allowed them to pay for food while allowing our volunteers to love and serve that community.

All glory to God! Every opportunity we have to share the love of God is a blessing that He has given us. It an honor to reflect His love—the love that we have each received—to others. What’s more, we know that we can only accomplish these feats with the help of our Partners. As Brother Copeland has shared many times, as a Partner, you are part of every success, every salvation and every miracle.

So, thank you, Partners, for being part of #KindnessMatters. If you’ve attended an event, you are with us. If you’ve given to this ministry, you are with us. And if you have prayed for us, you are there. Every action that we take is multiplied through partnership. Together, we are changing lives and proving that #KindnessMatters!

We partnered with local organizations in Washington, D.C., to show that #KindnessMatters.

If you’ve been around Kenneth Copeland Ministries long, you know we are passionate about partnership. Partnership is the way God designed heaven and earth to work together—to achieve more together than any of us could do on our own.

As we started our journey to the 2019 Washington, D.C. Victory Campaign, our hearts were expectant for what was to come. We were excited about the ways we could partner with the local community to touch lives and point them to Jesus—all by showing that Kindness Matters.

Watch this video as the KCM team shares the love of God with the people of Washington, D.C., by acts of kindness during the recent 2019 Washington, D.C. Victory Campaign.

Because of our Partners, we were able to love, honor and serve our Veterans at the Washington, D.C., VA Medical Center. With more than 125,000 veterans registered to receive care, this facility is the only health care system that provides care specifically for Veterans.

We put together the most requested Christmas items for the long-term residents and stocked their Christmas store. Then, we hand-delivered our gifts to these heroic men and women. Most importantly, we were able to let them know how much we love them and appreciate their service to our country.

Being the hands and feet of Jesus means meeting the needs of others, no matter how big or small. That’s why we also teamed up with one of our local Partner Churches, Hope Christian Church, to bless some of the members with gift cards. We all experience seasons of challenge, difficulty or sorrow, and we were blessed to come alongside and help.

Looking to the needs of the local community, we partnered with the organization Feeding Children Everywhere, along with more than 160 volunteers from Hope Christian Church, to assemble and pack 22,950 meals for hungry children. These meals were sent to the Capital Area Food Bank for distribution locally.

It was our honor to love people, serve the city and impact the world during the 2019 Washington, D.C. Victory Campaign. Partners, we couldn’t do it without you!

We don’t share this to boast in our giving but to encourage you to be the hands and feet of Jesus in your city. We look forward to sharing more acts of kindness and love at our next event.

Meanwhile, how can you show someone the love of God today with an act of kindness?

Unleash the Power of Praise and Thanksgiving

There is untapped power in praise and thanksgiving that belongs to you! This Thanksgiving, serve up a hearty portion of praise and thanksgiving!

We are so blessed in the United States to have Thanksgiving as a national observance to thank God and honor Him for all He has given us. It’s a time to stop the hustle, bustle and busyness of life to be grateful for our freedoms, family, friends and abundant life. What most people don’t know is that a thankful and grateful heart isn’t just a nice experience to have or a desirable attitude—there is spiritual power in praise and thanksgiving.

As Christians, we are called to unleash the power of praise and thanksgiving every day of the year. What power? The power to defeat the devil and unlock victory! Most people think praise is what you do after you get what you’re believing or praying for, but that isn’t true.

Andrew Wommack says, “Praise isn’t like the caboose that just follows what happens, but it’s more like the engine of a train that makes things happen.”

Kenneth Copeland says, “Praise is the big gun of faith.”

The devil wants to keep you from thinking about praise and thanksgiving while you’re in the process of believing, because he knows it’s an important key to breakthrough. Remember when Paul and Silas were locked up in the bowels of a prison? Things looked pretty grim. Most people would be begging and pleading with God to get them out, or considering all the ways they’d served Him and wondering how they could possibly deserve what was happening.

Instead, Paul and Silas “were praying and singing hymns to God” (Acts 16:25, NIV). The result? “All the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose” (verse 26). All the doors. Every chain. All because of praise and thanksgiving to God.

Do you need a breakthrough? A prison door opened? Chains to come loose? When you learn what can be accomplished in the spirit realm, you will want to activate the power of praise and thanksgiving in your life every day. Unleash the power of praise and thanksgiving with these truths.

1. Praise and Thanksgiving Balance the Scale

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” –Philippians 4:6 (NIV)

Notice that Philippians 4:6 says we are to present our requests to God “by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving.” Quite often, we can get so wrapped up in our needs and desires that our prayers can end up sounding like a long list of what we don’t have, what we want and what we need, without much time spent praising the One whom we are petitioning. There’s nothing wrong with asking for God’s help, but we should also be taking the time to thank God for everything He has done and is doing for us. Praise and thanksgiving balance the scale in our prayer lives and can mean the difference between receiving and going without.

Kenneth Hagin once shared a testimony that illustrates this point quite well. He told of a missionary who had contracted smallpox before there was a vaccine. In fact, at that time, it was quite often fatal. This missionary began praying to the Lord regarding her sickness, when the Lord gave her a vision of an old-fashioned balance scale. One side was labeled “Prayer” and the other “Praise.” She noticed in the vision that the “Prayer” side was stacked up high, while the “Praise” side had just a small stack, causing that side to sit way up high—the scale was out of balance.

The Lord spoke to her and said, “When your praises equal your prayers, you will be healed.” She spent two days doing nothing but praising God—she had to get caught up! And during this time, she didn’t ask God for anything—she simply praised Him. At the end of those two days, she was completely healed. That’s the power of praise and thanksgiving!

Do your praises equal your prayers? Is your scale balanced? Don’t wait to offer praise and thanksgiving to God until things are just as you like them to be—praise Him in every situation,. Praise Him for who He is and what He’s done in your life. Praise Him that you’re saved, delivered, healed and headed for heaven. Praise Him as your Creator, Restorer, Friend, Counselor, Comforter and Strong Tower. There is so much to be thankful for! Take time to thank Him each and every day. Then, watch as power is released into your circumstances in a way that scared and begging prayers can never accomplish.

Watch Kenneth and Gloria Copeland teach you how to overcome stress and anxiety with praise!

2. Praise and Thanksgiving Neutralize the Devil

“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” –1 Thessalonians 5:18 (KJV)

Ever wonder why the devil tries to get you to complain and grumble? He knows it is a strength sapper, a faith drainer and a dream killer. He knows it will keep you wandering around in the wilderness for 40 years, instead of arriving in your promised land in 11 days. (No, thank you!) More importantly, he doesn’t want you to know this: Praise and thanksgiving neutralize the devil. They are like kryptonite to him.

Praise and thanksgiving are powerful spiritual weapons that come from highly developed faith, and they are often the final step before receiving from God. They are sure signs that you have faith in His Word, have eradicated all unbelief, and have fixed your mind solely on His Word. That’s a powerful place to be!

Looking for something to read at the Thanksgiving table? Find 17 Scriptures for Thanksgiving Day here.

Bill Winston says, “Praise is much more than just music; it is a powerful, spiritual warfare tool. God never meant for you to fight your battles alone—Praise will shift the battle from you to God. Praise gives you strength and stops Satan in his tracks.”

How do praise and thanksgiving give you strength? They build your faith and keep you thinking right. When you slip into wrong thinking, Satan can gain access to your life. Praise and thanksgiving are vital weapons in your warfare against Satan and his forces.

So, when you’re standing in faith and things start to look opposite of what you’re believing for, keep the praise of God on your lips. Continue to praise Him for the answer. Don’t be moved by circumstances; just keep your eyes on God’s Word; and praise and thank Him that the mountain in front of you is moved. Praise and thanksgiving will always send the devil packing!

Even physical weariness has to flee when it’s faced with real joy-filled praise. Years ago, when Gloria Copeland first began conducting Healing School, she had a real battle with fatigue. She’d minister and lay hands on the sick for so many hours at a time that by the time the meeting had ended, she was sometimes too physically weak even to close the service.

In one particular meeting, she had just finished praying for those in the prayer line, and as usual, she was exhausted. The Spirit of the Lord impressed on her that, instead of resting, what she needed was to rejoice in the Lord. So, she did. She began to praise the Lord with her whole heart, mind and body. Do you know what happened? The tiredness left. And she was energized with the presence of God!

The next time the devil tries to stifle your effectiveness, to drain you of the strength and wealth and victory that are yours in Jesus, turn him back with those powerful weapons. Lift your hands, your voice and your whole heart to God. Give Him praise and thanksgiving!

Find out how the power of worship is directly related to healing in this teaching with Kenneth Copeland.

You ought to be shouting your way to work and shouting your way back home! If there’s anything the devil can’t stand, it’s praise. If you’ve taken territory from the devil and he’s coming against you to get it back, this is not the time to sit down and whine about how things aren’t working out. It’s not the time to decide that God has taken His hand off your life.

It IS time to get into the Word and get yourself re-anchored in God’s promises. It’s time to keep those promises constantly before your eyes and in your heart. It’s time to pray the prayer of faith and take your stand on the basis of His provision. It is time to continue to do the things you know to do.

When Satan starts shaking your mountain, don’t retreat and run for cover. Speak to the mountain with the authority you have in the Name of Jesus Christ. Then, when you’re done with that, start to praise and shout the victory!

3. Praise and Thanksgiving Bring God on the Scene

But You are holy, O You Who dwell in [the holy place where] the praises of Israel [are offered].–Psalm 22:3 (AMPC)

Do you ever feel like you really need God to show up? You’ve been fighting the good fight, but boy, are you getting tired! That’s OK—but giving up is not. God never loses a battle. And when you do things His way, you won’t either.

So, what should you do? Start praising. Praise when you don’t feel like it and keep praising because praise and thanksgiving bring God on the scene. He inhabits the praises of His people!

You can praise your way to healing, praise your way to a financial breakthrough, praise your way out of an unwarranted assault on your character. When there is trouble—praise and thanksgiving bring victory!

You can see an example of that in 2 Chronicles 20 where a multitude of forces was marching against Israel, leaving the army of Israel so outnumbered, they literally didn’t know what to do. So, they fasted and prayed until they received a word from God. “Be not afraid or dismayed at this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s” (verse 15, Amplified Bible, Classic Edition).

Do you know what they did in response to that word? They put together a praise choir! That’s right. They appointed singers and praisers, and sent them out in front of the army! And when that choir began to sing, the Word tells us that “the Lord set ambushments against the men…who had come against Judah, and they were [self-] slaughtered” (verse 22).

When it was all over, not one Israelite had fallen—and not one of their enemies had escaped. What’s more, when they came to take the spoil, they found so many cattle, goods, garments and other precious things, it took them three whole days to haul it all home.

Now, that’s victory! And it all began with praise. Are you looking for that kind of victory today? Then stand up and shout, “Glory!” After all, you’re in the same situation those Israelites were. You have an army marching against you, but Jesus has already defeated it. He won that battle for you on Resurrection morning.

That is the kind of power you can have right now in your life. If you are not familiar with praising God, or it makes you feel uncomfortable, ask God to show you how. You can start by reading the Psalms aloud. They speak of the great and mighty works of God. They praise Him for His goodness, power and mercy. God is faithful to perfect your praises!

Praise is not something you do when things are rosy. God is always worthy of your praise. The Bible says to offer the sacrifice of praise—that means when it feels like a tough thing to give. More importantly, praise and thanksgiving are more than a pleasant song or a few uplifting words about God. They do something. They release the very presence of God Himself. And when the presence of God comes on the scene, your enemies are turned back. Sickness and disease can’t stay on your body. Poverty can’t stay in your house.

So, when you pray, “enter into his gates WITH THANKSGIVING, and into his courts WITH PRAISE: be thankful unto him, and bless his name” (Psalm 100:4, KJV). Praise and thanksgiving are integral parts of prayer. They are you and God working together—your prayer and His power. You can pray amiss, but you can’t praise amiss.

Praise God. Praise Him in the morning. Praise Him at noon. Praise Him at night. If you’ve never praised God in your life, then get started right now. Praise Him for freedom. Praise Him for healing and Calvary. Praise Him for the Name of Jesus.

You’ll even find that when you have a need, if you go to God and simply praise Him, you’ll get your answers while you’re thanking Him! That’s why Philippians 4:6 tells us to mix thanksgiving in with our prayers. There are so many reasons to praise the Lord!

Now that you know how to unleash the power of praise and thanksgiving, you can take these truths and put them in remembrance as you pray and engage in spiritual warfare. Never underestimate the importance of praise. It’s one of the most powerful spiritual weapons you have!
