If you’re in need of healing, finances, the restoration of a relationship, or anything else—there is one way to get it: the favor of God. In this Ministry Minute, Gloria and Courtney Copeland explain how to get in position to receive the favor of God.
God wants you to have an abundant, healthy, happy and fulfilled life. And, the good news is it has already been provided through grace. When you’re in the grace of God, it means you’re favored in every area of your life. He has provided so many wonderful things for our enjoyment—healing prosperity, peace and abundance. But we have to be in position to receive the favor of God—it isn’t automatic.
So, the question today is: Are you in a position to receive the favor of God?
There’s only one way to be sure—and that is through examining your heart and evaluating your level of obedience. Are you obedient to His Word? In every area? Strife, unforgiveness, sexual immorality, or any other sinful behavior is out of line with God’s Word and takes you out of position. Sometimes it’s important to do a self-check, or even ask a trusted friend or mentor to offer some helpful insight. Some questions to ask include: Are you tithing? Are you loving others? Are you honest in your dealings with others? Do you live more like than world than you should?
If you feel like there are some areas that need correcting—don’t get discouraged—you don’t have to stay in the same place! Begin today to reprogram your mind with the Word of God. Apply The Word to your life, and let it come alive to you. Then you’ll be in a position to receive the favor of God.
