Operation Blessing: Helping When Disaster Strikes

For over 40 years, partner and donor support of Operation Blessing has alleviated human suffering for millions of people in more than 90 countries, including the U.S.

The mission of Operation Blessing, founded by the late Pat Robertson, is to bring help and hope to a hurting world, empowering people in need through compassion, Christ-centered relief and development programs.

The four pillars of humanitarian aid they provide are:

  • Hunger Relief
  • Clean Water
  • Medical Care
  • Disaster Relief.

They put special emphasis not only on providing physical relief to those in immediate need, but also equipping them to create sustainable solutions to combat poverty. Operation Blessing partners are devoted to being God’s hands and feet in the world.

Rebuilding Life After an Earthquake

Partner, when you give to Kenneth Copeland Ministries, that seed doesn’t stop on the property of KCM in Fort Worth, Texas. Ten percent of that money is immediately sown into other ministries, such as Operation Blessing. This is what we call twice-sown seed, and it reaches around the world, impacting individual lives, like Khine Zar Win. At 14 years-old, she became the primary caregiver to her two younger sisters when the Myanmar earthquake in March 2025 left them orphaned. Both of their parents passed away when the building where they worked was destroyed in the powerful 7.7 magnitude earthquake.

Now, Zar Win’s dream is to become an engineer so she can build houses that are strong and safe— ones that won’t collapse during earthquakes.

Through the support of partners—people like you—Operation Blessing can be there for individuals like Zar Win, helping her rebuild her life following a devastating disaster.

Sharing the Love of Christ Among Those Affected by Los Angeles Wildfires

Thanks to the compassionate gifts of partners like KCM, Operation Blessing was able to share the love of Christ among families affected by the recent Los Angeles wildfires at the beginning of 2025. They were able to partner with local churches, where they distributed food, meal kits, clean water, buckets of cleaning supplies, hygiene kits and prayer.

Evelyn, a full-time student and working mother, expressed her gratitude for the help she received during such a tough time: “They gave me some food, which was necessary, because times are tough. So many people have been helping me, and I’m very grateful. Thank you! Thank you, thank you, thank you so much. It’s a lot of help.”

In addition to having their practical needs met, fire survivors found respite from their daily challenges through mother-son and father-daughter dances for Valentine’s Day. “Fun is in short supply at the moment,” shared one mother affected by the wildfires. “So opportunities like this to just go out and have some fun with people who care is really meaningful and moving, and appreciated by the parents.”

Said a local pastor and father, “Something like tonight is a moment of normalcy in an otherwise crazy season. For two hours, these fathers get to dance with their daughters; they get to play, they get to eat more ice cream than a human should eat, they get to do things that normal people get to do.”

Critical Aid After a Hurricane

In September 2024, Hurricane Helene ravaged parts of western North Carolina, leaving devastating damage in its wake. Entire communities faced destruction: roads blocked by debris, widespread power outages, and severely limited access to basic necessities. Operation Blessing quickly stepped in, providing critical aid to storm victims. This included delivering essential resources like water, food and hygiene kits.

According to Operation Blessing, this massive relief effort was made possible because of people like you. The generosity of partners is what makes it possible to reach storm-affected families and help them begin the road to recovery. The outstanding response from partners means that, even in hard-to-reach areas, they can continue delivering the necessary supplies and support.

Partner, THANK YOU for your continued support that is reaching from the top of the world to the bottom and all the way around the middle! When you give, it enables the hands and feet of Jesus to go where help is needed most when disaster strikes.
