KCM Partners Bless College With Bibles

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

KCM Partners are making a difference each and every day! Through your prayers and support of Kenneth Copeland Ministries, this is the second year we’ve been able to give 500 Bibles to Wiley College in Marshall, Texas. Founded in 1873, Wiley College is a historically black, baccalaureate degree-granting institution affiliated with the United Methodist Church. It holds distinction as one of the oldest black colleges west of the Mississippi River.

Dr. Joseph L. Morale, vice president of student affairs and enrollment services, desired to start a tradition where “the first book that freshmen receive at Wiley will be the Bible.”

Janet Eaton is the associate director of athletics and head women’s basketball coach who helped Wiley College connect with KCM for this blessing. “Giving a Bible to incoming students,” says Eaton, “symbolizes that we are a Christian institution and that as they begin their academic journey—if they keep God at the center of all they do—that journey will be successful.”

To date, Bibles sown by KCM have blessed more than 1000 Wiley College Wildcats. They’re handed out each year at Wiley’s opening convocation ceremony.

Thank you, Partners and Friends, for making this great gift possible. Read about more ways you’re reaching the world today!
