When the economy is in a downturn, it can be a challenge to find good work, advance in a job, or even just make ends meet. This is the story of how one man’s search for work had a life-changing result when he applied the principles he knew from God’s Word and began to pray.
Derek Hudson had been believing God for a new job with a salary increase. He began looking for opportunities, and one became available. “I almost didn’t apply,” he stated candidly. “I saw it on my phone while we were traveling in Texas and I thought, When I get home, maybe I’ll apply for that position.”
A couple of weeks went by; then he happened to see the job posting again. This time, he applied for the position on the spot, then began confessing God’s favor, direction and wisdom over it. “The miraculous thing is, not only did I receive an offer, but I was also offered more than the salary range that was advertised,” shared Hudson.
In addition to the offer, he was given a month’s advance notice, giving him plenty of time to prepare for the transition from his current job.

We Have What We Say
Said Hudson, “We know how important our confession is—we hear Kenneth Copeland say it all the time: ‘We have what we say.’”
During the month leading up to the transition, Hudson had to drive by his new place of employment every time he commuted to the job that he was wrapping up. As he passed by, he would look to his left, point at the building where his new position was waiting, and thank God that his office was in that building, that he was going to get a great offer, and that it would be a smooth transition. He would do the same thing going home. “And that’s where I am today,” he stated matter-of-factly.
One thing Derek and his wife, Sharon, have done for a couple of decades is to see themselves at a certain salary point, then tithe as though they were already there, knowing that God is responsible for the increase. “Hearing the faith message that comes from KCM…that’s where it leads you to: trusting God for yourself,” said Hudson. He went on to say, “It could be that no one at KCM knows my name; that’s OK. I’m a Partner; that’s my name!” he declared with a chuckle.

Sharon added, “I really appreciate every bit of teaching of faith that Kenneth Copeland Ministries has brought, because it’s carried us here to this point. The Word says [in Ephesians 6:13], ‘When you’ve done all you can do, you stand.’ You stand on the Word and the promise of God, and you watch it come to pass.”
According to Sharon, it’s a comforting feeling, knowing that you have someone like Kenneth Copeland praying for you and lifting you and your family up to the Lord. She knows that KCM prays over prayer requests that are sent in. “I sincerely feel like we have somebody interceding for us. And there’s never been a doubt of that, because we feel that this is a ministry that God directed us to sow into and to be Partners with.”
God has a plan for every person’s life, and that includes YOU. Seek God through His WORD, listen for the Holy Spirit’s direction, and pray to find out the next step you need to take to follow His plan. Frame your world by planting the seed of God’s Word and experience 4 Ways Words Can Change Your Life.
If you’ve ever grown a vegetable garden, then you know that if you plant cucumber seeds, you will reap a harvest of cucumbers. If you plant lettuce seeds, you will reap a harvest of lettuce. Seeds produce the harvest they are genetically designed to produce.
In the same way, your words are the seeds for the harvest in your life. What you say is what you sow—and what you sow is what you reap (Galatians 6:7). If you sow words of ill health, you’ll reap a harvest of sickness. If you sow words of lack, perhaps by complaining that you never have enough money, you’ll reap a harvest of not having enough. But if you sow words in agreement with God and His will—which is life, health and success—you will reap a harvest of abundant life.
What do you need changed in your life? A business? A relationship? A job? Your body? Decide what you want to see changed in your life and write it down or type it in your phone. As you plant God’s Word in your heart and speak words out of your mouth, you will experience 4 Ways Words Can Change Your Life!
1. Words Start Processes in Your Life
“By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible.” –Hebrews 11:3 (ESV)
God framed the world with His words, and His words started the process of life we see today. Words are God’s own method of operation. He said, “Let there be light, and there was light” (Genesis 1:3). That was His will, and He spoke it into existence.
In the same way, you frame your world by the words you speak. What do you want changed in your life? Your words are like arrows you can point in a direction, and where you release them, they will go. They have the power to create the realities you want. They have creative ability. They release spiritual force. And they program the human spirit for success or for failure.
For example, if God has shown you He wants you to start a business, find scriptures that support such a desire and the success of it—and speak those words. As you do, your words are beginning the process of that new business in your life.
2. Words Turn Around Your Life
“We can make a large horse go wherever we want by means of a small bit in its mouth. And a small rudder makes a huge ship turn wherever the pilot chooses to go, even though the winds are strong. In the same way, the tongue is a small thing that makes grand speeches. But a tiny spark can set a great forest on fire. And among all the parts of the body, the tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of wickedness, corrupting your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire, for it is set on fire by hell itself.” –James 3:3-6
Just as a large horse is turned by a small bit in its mouth, and a huge ship is turned by a small rudder even when the winds are strong, your words can turn around your life.
You may have spent much of your life speaking negative, doubt-filled and fear-based words. Those words, which are not in agreement with God and His Word, have set some things in motion. As a result, your life may be going in a completely different direction than what you desire.
You can start changing your words today—and your outcome. You can create a crop failure and begin again. By speaking the Word of God—by getting your words in alignment with the Word of God—you can dig up all those seeds for the harvest that you don’t want and start replanting new seeds for the harvest you do want.
Start by setting a guard on your mouth. Psalm 141:3 says, “Take control of what I say, O LORD, and guard my lips.” Ask God for help in guarding the words that come out of your mouth.
Next, you can dig up what you’ve already planted and establish a whole new garden! Repeat the following prayer: In Jesus’ Name, I dig up wrong seed. I pull it out by the roots. Everything I’ve said about myself that has to do with failure and fear, I pull out now by the roots and I cast it into the sea. Everything concerning unforgiveness, everything concerning hatred, every word connected to death, I pull out now by the roots and cast it from me. And I replace those seeds with new seeds of the Word of God.
Choose today to turn your life around by the words you speak!

3. Words Accomplish God’s Will In Your Life
“When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father.” –John 15:8
“A tree is identified by its fruit…. A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart…. The words you say will either acquit you or condemn you.” –Matthew 12:33-37
No more than you would plant poison ivy or thornbushes in your vegetable garden, you don’t want to plant seeds of sickness, disease, depression or poverty in your heart, because those words don’t accomplish God’s will in your life. You want to plant God’s Word in your heart and speak words that line up with His Word to produce a harvest of good things in your life.
Jesus used the illustration of sowing and reaping, because the principle of seedtime and harvest is part of how the kingdom of God works (Mark 4). To illustrate this, Pastor George Pearsons once drew a cartoon he titled “What Does Your Garden Grow?” It depicted two farmers, and their gardens filled with rows of freshly planted seeds. At the end of the rows, one farmer had small signs that read death, sickness, fear and failure. The other farmer had signs that read health, healing, deliverance, success and prosperity.
Which farmer are you? What kind of seeds are you planting in the soil of your heart? You have the power to build strongholds with your life that are good or bad, positive or negative. Choose to speak words that line up with God’s wonderful plan for your life, and watch His will be accomplished in your life.
4. Words Steer the Course of Your Future
“You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; So light will shine on your ways.” –Job 22:28 (NKJV)
When you declare something, it is established for you, because words steer the course of your future. They are carriers of good or bad. They are the cornerstones of your life. They set boundaries that either confine you or release you.
You might say, “Well, you know, my past always seems to catch up with me. It always affects my relationships at home, at work and with my friends. No matter how hard I try, I’ll never get healed of the things that happened to me years ago. It’s just too hard.” You’ve just set a boundary for your future. You’ve put yourself in a place of endless pain and expectant failure.
But if you go to the Word and say what the Word says about you—spiritually, mentally and emotionally—then you can steer the course of your future in a completely different direction.
Jesus said, “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind (declare to be improper and unlawful) on earth must be what is already bound in heaven; and whatever you loose (declare lawful) on earth must be what is already loosed in heaven” (Matthew 16:19, AMPC).
You can declare over your life what is already bound and loosed in heaven. According to 1 Corinthians 6:20, you were bought with a price. According to 1 Corinthians 2:16, you have the mind of Christ. According to Romans 12:2, you know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. According to 3 John 2, you prosper in every way, even as your soul prospers. Use your words to steer the course of your future.

Look back at what you recorded about what you wanted to change in your life. Activate these 4 Ways Words Can Change Your Life, by uprooting any negative seeds you’ve planted and planting new seeds of the Word of God. When you do, the garden of that particular area of your life will be flourishing and thriving, giving glory to God.

Recently, Evangelist Prankard visited Eagle Mountain International Church and shared with the congregation three stories of how you are helping to change people’s lives.
Nomadic people were given KCM materials and these results happened:
A group of nomadic people lost their nets but believed they would be returned and that their catch of fish would be doubled, and it happened!
A man on the tundra put his faith in God that his reindeer herd would greatly multiply, and it did!
An indigenous boy was born crippled but his mom read The Laws of Prosperity, and her son received his healing!

If you’ve ever redeemed a gift card, then you know what it means to exchange what you have (the card) for something of value (what you purchase). You understand the process of redemption, naturally speaking.
When it comes to using this term biblically, it refers to the spiritual redemption Jesus purchased for you. The word redemption means “to buy back.” Jesus purchased your freedom, buying you back. Isaiah 43:1 says, “Fear not, for I have redeemed you [ransomed you by paying a price instead of leaving you captives]; I have called you by your name; you are Mine” (AMPC).

1. Freedom From Sin
“He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. He has showered his kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding.” –Ephesians 1:7-8
Jesus bought every human being with His own blood—freeing them from sin—but it is up to you to receive Him and invite Him into your life. Second Corinthians 5:19 says, “God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation” (NKJV). God reconciled the world to Himself through Jesus. God canceled the world’s trespasses. Kenneth E. Hagin, in his book The Art of Prayer says, “People will go to hell, and when they get there, they’ll find out we hadn’t told them the truth. We hadn’t told them everything was canceled out. The sins of the unsaved have been canceled out by Jesus. That’s how God is kind to the unthankful and the evil. And He has given to us that message, that word of reconciliation.” You have been set free from sin and can share this fact with others, inviting them to receive Jesus into their hearts.

2. Freedom From Sickness
“He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies. He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!” –Psalm 103:3-5
Notice in Psalm 103 that the same God who forgives your sins also heals all your sicknesses and diseases. As a child of God, you are redeemed from sickness and disease, from aches and pains, from the common cold and the flu, from seasonal allergies and viral infections. You were made the healed the day you were born again (1 Peter 2:24). You were designed by God to walk in divine health. But it is up to you to receive What Jesus Purchased for You and walk in your redemption by faith. Because of Jesus, you have freedom from sickness and disease, and have the wonderful opportunity to walk in divine health, giving glory to God!

3. Freedom From Death
“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.” –John 3:16-17
Your decision to be born again and make Jesus the Lord of your life opened the door for you to partake of all that Jesus purchased for you, including freedom from death. Without that decision, you would still be on your way to hell. That’s why it is the single most important decision you could ever make—and indecision is a defeat you never want to experience. You have been redeemed from eternal damnation and redeemed to eternal life. Instead of spending eternity in hell—designed for the devil and his cohorts—you can spend eternity in heaven with God and Jesus and all those who have chosen to believe and receive Jesus’ sacrifice.
When you make Jesus the Lord of your life, you are welcomed into the family of God. Galatians 4:5 says, “God sent him [Jesus] to buy freedom for us who were slaves to the law, so that he could adopt us as his very own children.” Before receiving Jesus, you were an orphan (John 14:18). After receiving Jesus, you were made a child of God (1 John 3:1). You were grafted into the kingdom of God (Romans 11:17-23). You were made a joint heir with Jesus (Romans 8:17). You were given a place to belong for all eternity. You were redeemed to be a son or daughter of the King (2 Corinthians 6:18). And being set free from death, you can enjoy eternal life with God in heaven.
4. Freedom From the Curse of the Law
“But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, ‘Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.’Through Christ Jesus, God has blessed the Gentiles with the same blessing he promised to Abraham, so that we who are believers might receive the promised Holy Spirit through faith.” –Galatians 3:13-14
Jesus redeemed you from the curse of the Law which includes anything bad you can think of—death, sin, sickness, disease, poverty, lack, depression, addiction and anything else that’s bad. Gloria Copeland says, “If it’s bad, it’s under the curse. It doesn’t belong to you.”
Jesus paid the price for your release from sin and its punishment. His death was in exchange for your life—and redemption is only possible “through His blood,” that is, by His death and resurrection. 1 Timothy 2:6 says, “He [Jesus] gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone.” Jesus took care of the freedom you need in every area of your life.
How do you access that freedom? You access your redemption benefits—freedom from sin, sickness, death and the curse of the Law—by faith. Hebrews 12:2 says, “We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.”That “joy awaiting Him” was YOU!
What Jesus Purchased for You covers everything you need in this life and throughout eternity! The next time you are at a store or restaurant and redeem a gift card, take a moment to remember the high price Jesus paid to redeem you and provide you with a life of freedom!
We have been taking back what the devil stole from us in 2021 through a major winter storm! With the help of our Partners and Friends, we are moving forward as we renovate KCM’s World Headquarters building.

As I have previously shared with you, in February 2021 the state of Texas was hit by a winter storm the likes of which we had never seen before. As a result of freezing temperatures, buildings on the property here at KCM experienced extensive damage. Pipes burst in our Headquarters building, forcing our staff to vacate. It would take massive repairs before staff would be able to return.
Instead of just repairing the building, which in itself was a major project, we began the process of redesigning and reorganizing the Headquarters building for the future. Architectural drawings were produced; however, the funds were not available to start the renovations.
We were so focused on continuing to get The WORD out to the people that the building just sat unrepaired. Frankly, we became accustomed to our makeshift, inadequate facilities.
Last year, The LORD finally spoke to my heart and challenged me to kick our faith into gear. He said, This is a faith project. You need to activate your faith to get it done. The devil kicked you out of that building. It is time to TAKE BACK WHAT THE DEVIL STOLE FROM YOU.
The LORD gave me Joshua 18:2-3. “And there remained among the children of Israel seven tribes, which had not yet received their inheritance. And Joshua said unto the children of Israel, How long are ye slack to go to possess the land, which the LORD God of your fathers hath given you?”
It is very interesting to me that we have seven phases in our plans for restoring the Headquarters building. Phase 1, which was the exterior portion of the building, is now complete. Praise God!
It is also interesting that Proverbs 6:31 tells us that the enemy must return sevenfold what he stole from us.
By faith, we moved forward with the construction of Phase 2. And I am excited to announce to you that as I am writing this article in January 2025, construction of Phase 2 is complete, and the furniture is on its way! In fact, by the time you read this article, we will have taken back what the devil thought he had stolen! Glory to God!
Every Step Is a Step of Faith!
Many years ago, after several years of believing God and saving, Pastor Terri and I purchased a home with cash. To accommodate our needs, the house required some major renovations, which we also decided to pay for with cash. We had enough funds to begin but not finish the project. As a result, it was taking quite some time to complete the work. We would move forward, then stop when we ran out of cash. We would build our reserve, complete a portion, and continue, then stop again when the cash ran out. By faith we would sow financial seeds all along the way. As the harvest came in and our reserve was sufficiently replenished, we would take on another phase of the remodel.
After going through this process a few times, however, we became discouraged—frustrated with the amount of time and money it was taking to complete this project. During one of those times of frustration, Terri and I decided to talk to Brother Copeland about it. His response was empowering!
Then he told us: “Every step is a step of faith. Keep your eyes on the progress you have been making, and always celebrate your progress.”
Those words really changed our attitude.
Once we did what Brother Copeland advised, the burden lifted, the construction picked up, and we were able to eventually move into our renovated home—debt free!
Take Possession, NOW!
So even though the furniture for the renovated section of the Headquarters building has been delayed, The LORD has said, I want you to take possession of that wing right now. Gather the staff who will eventually move in, and celebrate the faith progress you have made.
That is exactly what we did on Wednesday, Jan. 29. We celebrated progress. We took possession of that wing and showed the devil that we are walking by faith and not by sight! And we will do the same with the remaining five phases!

Hebrews 6:11-12 (NKJV) says, “And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.”
The word patience there means “divine endurance, staying power and the ability to act like you have it before you see it.”
What project are you in the midst of that is taking a long time?
Let me remind you of what Brother Copeland said to Terri and me: “Roll the care of this over onto The LORD…. Every step is a step of faith. Keep your eyes on the progress you have been making, and always celebrate your progress.”
Don’t give up! Keep pressing in by faith.

Let me encourage you that The WORD works when we put it to work. We gave, we rolled the care over onto The LORD, and as the harvest came, the work continued. But we also celebrated the progress along the way!

During the COVID pandemic, James Burgoyne was diagnosed with COVID pneumonia. His doctor told him that he would die, but Burgoyne listened to his Go VICTORY app while in quarantine isolation, and today he is completely healed!
James Burgoyne was working in a jail during the middle of the COVID pandemic, when one of the inmates said he had a sinus infection. Burgoyne didn’t think much about it; however, a few days later he began losing his appetite, and started showing a variety of symptoms.
After several tests, it was concluded that he had bilateral COVID pneumonia, which meant COVID pneumonia affected both lungs. He was admitted to the hospital and put into COVID quarantine, meaning he was in complete isolation and could not see his wife or kids. The doctor told him, “Mr. Burgoyne, you’re going to die.” The doctor had patients who were not as sick as Burgoyne who did not make it, and he had no hope for James.
VICTORY Channel: A Lifeline in Desperate Times
Said Burgoyne, “I kept thinking of Brother Copeland’s teaching on Psalm 91, so I was saying those things, but it was like my mind was foggy.” However, Burgoyne had his phone, and he could listen to the Go VICTORY app.
Burgoyne shared, “I am so thankful to KCM for VICTORY Channel and being able to have the VICTORY app.” One day while in the hospital, he watched the Believer’s Voice of Victory broadcast, and Mark and Trina Hankins were the guests featured with Brother Copeland.
“Brother Copeland began talking about the spirit of faith and how every believer has a voice, and it’s the voice of victory. Then Mark said something that Brother Hagin had said; it’s really what turned the light on for me,” continued Burgoyne.
Brother Hagin was quoted as saying, “The doorway into the supernatural will hinge upon what you believe in your heart and what you say with your mouth.” This was the light that went off on the inside of Burgoyne. He knew in his spirit that he needed to quit laying there and begin to act and speak like he was well!
With every negative thought that came, he would say, “No, I am going to live and not die, and declare the works of the Lord.” Burgoyne would go to the scriptures, and every time he had a bad thought or bad dream, he would read those scriptures out loud, such as, “By His stripes, I am healed” (1 Peter 2:24).
Resources to help you stand your ground and live in the resurrected life of Jesus:
It didn’t happen overnight. Burgoyne ended up being in the hospital for 21 days, and even after being sent home, he had an oxygen tank for a time.
But Burgoyne continued to stand on Romans 8:11, that the Spirit of God that raised Jesus from the dead would quicken his body. “And I would act on it, even though I did not feel like it at all,” said Burgoyne. Over time, he got stronger and stronger.
Months later, when Burgoyne visited the pulmonologist to have his lungs tested, the results came back completely normal, without any obstruction in his lungs. The pulmonologist told Burgoyne, “You’re rare, because most people who have what you had have some type of lingering effect.”
What You Listen to Matters
“I can’t stress it enough,” said Burgoyne, “VICTORY Channel and programs like BVOV and the other things that are on there…that free resource was a lifeline for me at the time I needed it.”
Burgoyne went on to share, “When you’re going through a struggle, you need to stay connected.” VICTORY Channel continues to feed and help him. “As a Partner, I love praying for Brother Copeland, Mrs. Gloria, Pastors George and Terri, and the whole ministry, as well as the other ministers who have influenced my life,” he said. “It has been a blessing to me and my family.”
Partner, when you give, you are impacting people like the Burgoynes every day. Sometimes, those lives are hanging in the balance between life and death. Thank you for all you do to help spread the Word of Faith from the top of the world to the bottom and all the way around the middle!
Are you expecting to experience a wonderful victory in your life this year?
Maybe you’re believing God for a new home or a new vehicle. Maybe you’re waiting to see the full manifestation of your healing or the salvation of a loved one. If you have been praying and declaring God’s Word and haven’t experienced any changes, it’s easy to begin to second-guess yourself spiritually. It’s all too easy to look at your situation and think it will never change or that God has forgotten all about you.
But that’s not what the Word promises you!
The Word says that God wants you to have victory! And when you’ve done all you know to stand in faith, He tells to continue standing some more (Ephesians 6:13-14 ).
To help you see a wonderful victory, we’ve compiled 5 Ways To Stand in Victory Over Every Situation.
1. Dare To Believe Without Seeing
“Jesus said to him, ‘Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.’” –John 20: 29 (NKJV)
When Jesus spoke to Thomas, He made it very clear to us all that seeing is not believing. Instead, we are to use our faith to obtain what we don’t physically see yet. For example, God used His faith to create this earth through what He spoke. He didn’t see the earth physically before He created it; He simply spoke the results of what He wanted to see and expected those things to appear (Genesis 1:1-31).
In this same way, as we continually develop our faith and speak into existence what we want in accordance with God’s Word, we can expect the things of God to appear in our lives. By continually developing our faith, we keep ourselves in a place of being able to believe and stand for miracles, even when we don’t see them in the natural yet. If we don’t have our faith built up, then we can easily believe what we see and hear in the world around us and not what the victorious Word of God promises us.
At the same time, it’s important to understand that our miracles and victories will not just appear. Faith is not a vending machine whereby you push a button or speak one scripture and a miracle drops in your lap. No, you prepare for your victory by faith, with the belief that you will see your miracle. You begin by building your faith, praying scripture after scripture, until you have no doubt and are fully persuaded in your faith. Then you receive your victory with that very same faith you’ve been building up, knowing that it’s only a matter of time before you see a full manifestation in the natural.
2. Dominate Your Circumstances With the Force of Faith
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.“ –Hebrews 11:1 (NKJV)
Faith is a force stronger than the mightiest river—and the substance of this force has the power to dominate every situation and every circumstance in your life. As a believer, you have a choice to use this force of faith to your advantage. Just as you can cooperate with the force of a mighty river and coast along with it, so you can also cooperate with the force of faith in order to grab hold of your victories. Knowing how to use this force starts with understanding three principles:
Faith comes from hearing the Word of God. We’ll talk more about this in our next point, but no matter what kind of promise you’re looking for, you can speak scriptures out loud, and listen to sermons to build up your faith on a daily basis (Romans 10:17).
Faith is fed by reading and studying the Word, and praying in tongues (Jude 20). Just like we feed our bodies the nutrients they need to function properly, we also feed our spirits the Word of God.
Faith is released through the words we speak. Jesus released His faith by His words, and we release our faith the same way (Mark 11:22-24). We dominate with the force of faith by using faith-filled words (Romans 4:17; Hebrews 1:3).
3. Practice Using Your Faith
“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” –Romans 10:17 (NKJV)
At one time or another, we’ve all been impressed with an Olympic athlete’s excellence. To achieve Olympic status, athletes train day after day, year after year, in order to develop the skills necessary to dominate their sport. In the same way, we can train spiritually, developing our faith to operate with the adept skills necessary to receive our victory in every situation.
As you practice using your faith by daily speaking and studying the Word, you’ll learn to automatically respond to circumstances and trouble with the Word of God (Mark 11:23). Practicing will train your heart and renew your mind to respond with God’s life-giving, conquering Word (Romans 4:17, 10:10). • God’s Word on our lips and in our hearts produces life and prosperity (Deuteronomy 30:14-15). • God’s Word in our hearts produces a long, prosperous, peaceful life (Proverbs 3:1-2). • God’s Word in our hearts produces life, healing and health (Proverbs 3:1-2 ). • Confessing with our mouths and believing in our hearts produces salvation (Romans 10:9).
4. Learn How To Take Your Victory by Faith
“For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” –Mark 11:22-24 (NKJV)
In teaching us about faith, Gloria Copeland has often said, “You need to take it!” In other words, we aggressively take the promises of God by using our faith, God wants us to boldly use our faith and the authority he’s given us over satan to get the enemy out of our affairs. He doesn’t want us whispering, so to speak, when it comes to confronting the devil and telling him to take his hands off areas of our lives where we are experiencing his attacks and resistance.
Jesus paid the ultimate price for your freedom, healing and prosperity; and you have every right to remind satan of this. Satan has no authority over you. He has no power to inflict whatever curse he is trying to put on you, be it poverty, lack, sickness, relational deficits, or anything else contrary to God’s blessings and promises.
One of the greatest ministers of his time, Brother Charles Capps, lived in poverty until he realized he could call things that are not as though they were according to (Romans 4:17). Like Brother Capps, if you want blessings, you too can declare and call in those blessings—and they will come to you.
If you are experiencing poverty, don’t keep repeating what you see in your bank account. Stand up and declare what God says about your bank account—that you have more than enough to meet your needs (Philippians 4:19). Instead of responding based on what you see, faith gives you the opportunity to respond based on what the Word says. And with God’s faith-filled words coming out your mouth, you can change the course of your life!
If you are looking for a specific miracle, find what God says in the Word. Find His promise about the miracle you need. By speaking His promises over yourself daily, you will be standing in faith for your victory.
5. Add to Your Faith Corresponding Action
“For she said, ‘If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.’” –Mark 5:28 (NKJV)
We often refer to the woman in Mark 5:28 as “the woman with the issue of blood.” When she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well,” in essence, she was speaking against what she saw in the natural, and taking her healing. What she saw in the natural was uncontrollable blood loss and a Roman dictate to quarantine inside her house because of her condition. The punishment for violating this law was being stoned to death.
Yet, she had heard of Jesus and the healing power He carried, so she put the force of faith to work. She kept repeating that she would be healed through His power, until one day she finally became fully persuaded and stepped out in faith. She didn’t wait for her circumstances to be perfect or for the crowd around Jesus to dissipate. She took action. She got down on her knees and crawled to Jesus, expecting to be healed.
Brother Copeland calls this corresponding action. She believed that when she touched Jesus’ garment she would be healed, so she acted upon it. And when she did, she received exactly what she was expecting—she was healed and made whole (Mark 5:25-34).
Whatever you are believing for, take action today. If you are believing for a new car, clean up the one that you have, and get it ready to sell or sow into another person or ministry. If you are believing for healing, speak scriptures aloud, and do something you weren’t able to do before, even if it’s a seemingly simple act such as moving your finger. No act of faith is too small for God!
There’s still time to take by faith what God has promised. Through your faith in Jesus Christ, you can have your prosperity, your healing, your deliverance, your family, along with peace and joy. Put these 5 Ways To Stand in Victory Over Every Situation into practice, and enjoy your best year ever!
God promised you healing to provide you with a healthy, long life. But some conditions must be met to walk in that healing. 1. Rid yourself of all evil behavior and slander (1 Peter 2:1). 2. Drink the milk of God’s WORD so you can grow in The LORD (1 Peter 2:2). 3. Abstain from sinful desires (1 Peter 2:11). 4. Conduct yourself as a representative of God (1 Peter 2:12). 5. Submit yourself to man’s authority for The LORD’s sake (1 Peter 2:13). Remember, Jesus has freed you from the curse of the Law, and by His wounds, you are healed (1 Peter 2:24)!
