3 Proven Wisdoms That Will Guarantee Your Success

3 Proven Wisdoms That Will Guarantee Your Success

Discover the “three things”—the three wisdoms—Brother Copeland heard one day that have produced success in his life and ministry against all kinds of impossibilities for the past 55 years.

We’ve all heard it at some point…“You can’t do that!” “That’s never been done!” “That’s not how we do it!”

Hearing those kinds of naysayer words can lead to naysayer thinking, which can leave you discouraged (without courage), second-guessing yourself (and God), and completely diverted from your hopes and dreams.

Granted, it’s harder going upstream. It can be lonely not following the crowd. But imagine if no one ever stood against the naysayers. Think of all the inventions that would never be discovered, diseases never cured, mountains never climbed, records never broken, mysteries never solved, fortunes never made… souls never saved.

Jesus addressed this very issue when He and His disciples were challenged by people who questioned their way of doing things: “No one puts new wine into old wineskins. For the wine would burst the wineskins, and the wine and the skins would both be lost. New wine calls for new wineskins”(Mark 2:22).

That’s essentially what Dr. Oral Roberts told Kenneth Copeland in 1967. As a first-year student at Oral Roberts University, Brother Copeland also worked as a pilot for Dr. Roberts’ ministry. Part of his responsibilities was to drive Dr. Roberts at out-of-town meetings, which gave him the unique opportunity to be discipled by Dr. Roberts.

One day, as Brother Copeland was driving Dr. Roberts to a meeting, Dr. Roberts shouted from the back seat of the car, “Kenneth! People will always tell you, ‘You can’t do it!’ But, if you will do these three things, you will always be a success.’”

Here are the “three things”—the three wisdoms—Brother Copeland heard that day that have produced success in his life and ministry against all kinds of impossibilities for the past 55 years. They are three wisdoms that will work for you, as well.

Wisdom No. 1: Find Out the Will of God

“Even when there was no reason for hope, Abraham kept hoping—believing that he would become the father of many nations. For God had said to him, ‘That’s how many descendants you will have!’ And Abraham’s faith did not weaken, even though, at about 100 years of age, he figured his body was as good as dead—and so was Sarah’s womb” –(Romans 4:18-19).

God’s will was for Abraham to become the father of many nations. He told him so. And with that—God’s word on the matter—Abraham’s faith in God’s promise never wavered. In fact, it only grew stronger, with Abraham becoming all the more convinced God would do what He had said (Romans 4:20-21).

Faith begins where the will of God is known. That’s a wisdom Brother Copeland has preached and lived for decades.

“That’s the time when you search your heart and get before God,” Brother Copeland has said. “That’s the time when you ask Him your questions, when you get in the Bible and find out His will. When Gloria and I have needed God’s wisdom on a matter, we set aside three days and not pray about anything else but that one thing.”

Wisdom belongs to us—God has seen to it. We have every right to it. We have unlimited access to it. We just need to press in, at times, to receive it.

  • “It is because of [God] that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God…” (1 Corinthians 1:30, NIV).
  • “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all…” (James 1:5-6, NIV).
  • “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is…” (Romans 12:2, NIV).
  • “Don’t live foolishly for then you will have discernment to fully understand God’s will” (Ephesians 5:17, TPT).

Brother Copeland gladly reports: “We have never gone three days without finding out exactly what His answer was.”

So, take time to find out God’s will in matters. Seek Him primarily, not people.

Wisdom No. 2: Do Not Confer With Flesh and Blood

“‘But what about you?’ [Jesus] asked. ‘Who do you say I am?’

“Simon Peter answered, ‘You are the [Christ], the Son of the living God.’

“Jesus replied, ‘Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven’” (Matthew 16:15-17, NIV).

When Jesus was well into His three-plus years of ministry and asked His disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?” He wasn’t conducting a temple exit poll or checking the count of His social media likes.

No, Jesus was getting a pulse on the multitude of people following Him and on His core group of disciples. More importantly, He was opening the door for the revelation Peter was about to receive and blurt out in front of all his co-followers (verse 16).

And Peter nailed it. (So far, so good!)

But it was only “good” in that Peter said what he’d heard from the Holy Spirit—even though he didn’t realize that’s what had happened, because it all happened so quickly.

A few minutes later, Peter went off script, offering his own opinions and commentary on something Jesus had just shared with the group—that He was soon to be crucified— and that’s when the not so good happened.

“Peter took [Jesus] aside and began to rebuke him. ‘Never, Lord!’ he said. ‘This shall never happen to you!’

“Jesus turned and said to Peter, ‘Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the [will] of God, but merely human concerns’” (Matthew 16:22-23, NIV).

To Dr. Roberts, to “not confer with flesh and blood” was exactly what happened here.

Once you know the will of God (which Jesus did), don’t ask to other people or go around surveying them about what God has said. They will always tell you that you can’t do it (which Peter did)—just ask Brother Copeland…

“It’s so amazing how people just automatically think it’s their responsibility to point out all the reasons why you can’t do something. They may have good intentions, but they’re still going to tell you all the negatives—as if you had no idea.”

The point is: Guard yourself! Certainly, you may even start out thinking, There’s no way I can do this! But once you discover it’s God’s will for you, you need to guard your eyes, ears, words and thoughts—your heart—from all negativity (Proverbs 4:20-27).

Wisdom No. 3: Get the Job Done at All Costs

“Peter said to [Jesus], ‘We have left all we had to follow you!’” –(Luke 18:28, NIV)

The same year that Brother Copeland started as a student (and pilot) at ORU, he suddenly stopped. Dr. Roberts was fast becoming his “father in the faith” and Brother Copeland imagined being by his side for at least the next 12 years, and then, maybe leaving Tulsa, Okla. But one day the Lord told Brother Copeland, I’m through with you here. I’m ready for you now. I need you to go out into your own ministry.

“So my first day in the ministry,” Brother Copeland recounts, “I got up and put on my suit. I didn’t have a place in the world to go, so I got my Bible and my yellow notepad, walked into the living room, sat down and started studying.”

Prior to that first day of “ministry,” Kenneth and Gloria had taken Communion over three principles, three convictions they committed to concerning following God’s call:

  • They would never ask anyone for a place to preach
  • They would never preach anywhere based on a financial arrangement
  • They would get the job done at all costs.

Based on their list and Dr. Roberts’ list—they had reached the “at all costs” part.

Thankfully, the Copelands learned early on from Dr. Roberts that part of counting the costs of discipleship and ministry was prayer—lots of prayer. He passed along to them what the Lord had told him:

Prayer is the core value of any Christian endeavor. It is the foundation, the most essential part. Regardless of anyone’s ability, the result will be failure if they are not backed by prayer. All Christian failure is a prayer failure.

It was in that season that construction began on the campus of ORU, and the first structure built was the famous Prayer Tower, which was purposely located at the center of campus with an eternal flame at the top representing the prayers going up 24/7 to the Lord. Everything else was built around it.

Taking all this to heart, the Copelands hired their first employee as soon as they could.

Her job?

Pray—all day, every day!

Then, when the time finally came for them to begin construction on their own miraculously acquired 1500-acre property in Fort Worth, Texas, they built their prayer chapel, located at the heart of the campus—and they did it with a conviction and commitment to:

  • Pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17)
  • Keep asking, seeking and knocking (Matthew 7:7-8)
  • Ask whatever you will, in Jesus’ Name, and He will back it (John 16:24-26).

Years later, Brother Copeland still misses his father in the faith. But he continues to practice the three proven wisdoms to success he learned from Dr. Roberts 55 years ago—wisdoms that have produced 55 years of success. You can practice them, too, and see great success in your life and ministry!

3 Words That Will Change Your Life

Are You Waiting for God To Bless You?

Are You Waiting for God to Bless You

Six Keys To Unlock God’s BLESSING

We all want to live blessed lives and experience the promises and blessings of God. We want to live lives where we’re free from sickness and disease, our relationships are thriving, money isn’t a struggle, debts and bills are paid, and we are blessing others. But many Christians struggle with how to take hold of these blessings. In the Bible, God gives us the key over and over again to unlocking His blessings. That key, in a phrase, is delight yourself in the Lord.  Psalm 112:1, KJV, says it this way, “Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in His commandments.”

If you’re waiting for God to bless you, below are six keys to delighting yourself in the Lord that will help you unlock THE BLESSING in your life.

Key No. 1 – Realize That God Is the Source of All Blessing

Hopefully by now, you’ve figured out that God isn’t some Santa Claus in the sky who comes down your chimney and leaves you exactly what you want under the tree. He isn’t a genie in a bottle who appears at some chance moment to grant you three wishes in life. No, no, no. God is so much more. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the One who was, who is and who is to come (Revelation 1:8). He is the Source from whom all things—including you—were created.

Genesis 1:1 says, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” The Hebrew translation of that verse is, “In the beginning, THE BLESSED One created the heavens and the earth.” God is THE BLESSER, and blessing originated from Him. Every good and perfect gift is from Him (James 1:17). Better than Santa Claus, a genie in a bottle, wishing on a star, or going your own way, God has a BLESSING plan for you to experience everything He promises.

Key No. 2 – Realize That the Choice to Be Blessed Is Yours

Here’s another scripture that tells you how to live blessed:

Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live! –Deuteronomy 30:19

God tells us in this scripture that He has called heaven and earth as witnesses and set two choices before us: blessings or cursings, life or death. If we choose life, we will be blessed, and we will live. So, we have a choice. Do we want to be blessed and live? Or be cursed and die? Of course, we want to be blessed and live! There isn’t a person alive who would say they want to be cursed and die.

If this is the case, we have to ask, then why aren’t more people living blessed?

Well, that’s because you have to choose. God can’t do it for you. Your spouse can’t do it for you. Your parents can’t do it for you. And you don’t get to sit this one out and expect to be blessed. You can’t say, “Well, I haven’t made my mind up about God or that command yet. I’ll make my decision later, after I’ve had all my fun.” No, not choosing life and blessing is the same as choosing death and cursings. So, if you haven’t chosen life, you aren’t experiencing the fullness of abundant blessings God has promised you.

So, how do you choose life and blessing? You choose by making a conscious decision to honor God and obey His commands. You choose to delight in Him and His ways. You choose Psalm 112:1. This is the key to unlocking THE BLESSING of God in your life.

Key No. 3 –Realize That Fearing the Lord Leads to Blessing

It can be confusing to read an encouragement to “fear the Lord” in Scripture. This phrase seems to contradict God’s edict to “fear not,” a command that is listed 365 times throughout the Bible. However, the fear referenced in this scripture is not the terror and anxiety that God tells us to avoid. Just look at this more detailed translation of Psalm 112:1: “Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!) Blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] is the man who fears the Lord [with awe-inspired reverence and worships Him with obedience], Who delights greatly in His commandments” (AMP).

God promises that you will be blessed when you revere, worship and obey Him. He doesn’t want you quaking in fear at the thought of Him or expecting ill effects from interacting with Him. No, He simply wants you to recognize who He is—the Creator of the Universe, the Alpha and the Omega, and your heavenly Father.

Key No. 4 – Realize That Delighting in His Commandments Leads to Blessing

Often when we think of God’s commandments, or His laws, we immediately return to the Big 10, the ones Moses brought down on tablets from Mount Sinai. But God’s commandments aren’t limited to those. In fact, there are hundreds of commands in the Old Testament alone.

However, as it became glaringly clear under the Old Covenant, God’s people have always been unable to follow His laws in their own strength. It took Jesus’ sacrifice to erase the stain of their sin.

Thankfully, Jesus showed God’s people another way, a way beyond rote obedience and a way into relationship. In Matthew 22:37-40, Jesus summed up all the Old Testament commandments in one word—love:

Jesus replied, “You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.” This is the first and greatest commandment.  A second is equally important: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.

Loving God wholeheartedly and loving others is your No. 1 command. When you endeavor to keep the command of love with a pure motive, you are delighting in God’s commands.

But as we go back and consider Psalm 112:1, let’s look beyond the letter of God’s Word and reflect on its spirit. This verse—and every verse addressing the gratitude for and faithfulness to God’s commands—reflects a deeper calling to treasure His Word. Second Timothy 3:16 says, “All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.”

We don’t have to walk around wondering why we’re not blessed! God gave us His Word to help us understand Him and His ways, and to assist us in living lives that reflect our salvation.

Key No. 5 – Realize That God’s Commands Are There to Bless You

The whole purpose of God’s commands is to set you up for THE BLESSING and prevent you from cursings that lead to death. Much like parents who give their children instructions that will prevent them from hurting themselves when they don’t know any better, God gives us instructions to keep us from getting hurt in this life. And He does it for one reason and one reason only…because He loves us.

Back to Psalm 112:1, do you delight in the Lord’s commands? If His commands are burdensome, it’s probably because you haven’t yet understood just how much He already loves you.

“I know God loves me,” you might insist.

Perhaps that’s true. But there’s a difference between mentally assenting to God’s love and really believing it with your heart. When you really believe from your heart that God loves you with a deep, passionate love, you will understand that His commands are given to you out of that love. You will delight yourself in them because you trust God’s love for you. You know that He’s not holding back or trying to punish you, but instead, His commands will lead to abundant life, protection from evil, and blessing.

Key No. 6 – Realize That God Loves You and Wants You Blessed

God loves you so much, and He desires an intimate relationship with you. First John 4:19 reminds us that “we love each other because He loved us first.” It is only out of that love, God’s love, that His blessings are possible. In fact, God demonstrated His love for us in that Christ died for us while we were yet still sinners (Romans 5:8). You are so important to God that He sent Jesus to ensure that you have the choice to live in relationship with Him forever and be blessed.

God wants you to delight in Him so that THE BLESSING will overtake you (Deuteronomy 28:2, NKJV). If you’re not experiencing God’s blessings, meditate on these six keys. Seek the Lord and ask Him to give you revelation. Delighting yourself in the Lord’s commands is easy when you understand just how much the Lord truly loves you. When you realize His eternal love for you, you can’t help but delight in Him and His Word. As you do, His commands won’t be burdensome, and you will experience great peace and joy as a result of choosing life and blessings. Be patient and diligent to fight the good fight of faith, and THE BLESSING of the Lord will soon overtake you!

Your Ballot Is Your Seed

Your Ballot Is Your Seed

By Kenneth Copeland

The ballot is your seed, and God doesn’t do anything without a seed. When you don’t sow it, you have sown to your enemy.

Many years ago, I found myself griping about some things the President had been doing. Then, the Lord reminded me that my only source of information was from the news media.

Now, not all of them lie, of course, but some distort the facts for a living. They don’t know much about the president, and it makes them mad that he doesn’t tell them anything. I don’t blame him—I wouldn’t tell them anything, either!

But I fell over into a gripe mode for a few days, and The LORD got on to me about it. He got really straight with me about allowing television, television news and television people to influence my thinking.

We all need to be very, very cautious about that.

Isaiah 1:21-23 says, “How is the faithful city become an harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers. Thy silver is become dross, thy wine mixed with water: Thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards….”

Those rewards Isaiah was talking about were bribes or under-the-table deals.

Compare his words to our generation. Our nation now is a lot like the city of Jerusalem was then. Just reading that scripture, you’d think you were reading the newspaper.

Isaiah continues: “…they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them. Therefore saith the LORD, the LORD of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of mine adversaries, and avenge me of mine enemies: And I will turn my hand upon thee, and purely purge away thy dross [or, your slag and your alloys—the stuff you’ve mixed in with your purity], and take away all thy tin” (verses 23-25).

God always puts first things first. Notice what He said He will do first to change a city or nation: “And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellors [your lawyers and your pastors] as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city” (verse 26).

He said we will be called “a righteousness nation” again!

It doesn’t matter what administration is in power or who’s in what position of authority. When you get right down to it, everyone is influenced in one way or another by a judge.

Judges affect everything, and down through the years Supreme Court judges have really messed up our country. But I’ll tell you something—you can’t blame them for it. You have to blame us. Why? Because we quit praying, we quit believing God and we quit voting.

You have to understand, the ballot is your seed, and God doesn’t do anything without a seed. When you don’t sow it, you have sown to your enemy. It’s the same principle that applies to farming. You sow corn, you harvest a crop of corn. You sow nothing, you get nothing. There is no in between.

Everything you do and everything you say is a seed. To think you can sow one thing and reap a different harvest is insanity. That kind of thinking is not even practical. A seed always produces after its own kind.

So by getting hung up on the political parties and all of the show business—supposedly political campaigns—that have little or nothing to do with what’s going to happen in office, and then not sowing your ballot…it’s like not having been involved in the first place.

What’s your responsibility? Get involved! You pray and you follow God when it comes time to vote. And then you do more than that: You stay involved.

God really got after a preacher friend of mine about this very thing. He lived in a small town in central Texas and his church wasn’t liking the direction the city council was going at all. So the whole church got together and went to a city council meeting. There were more people there from that church than anyone else. In fact, no one else showed up. They voted on everything and ended up taking over the city. They started turning the whole city around in one night.

The city council realized what was going on, but there wasn’t any way they could turn them o . They were in every city council meeting—200 or 300 of them—fi lling the whole room up. They turned that whole city around in a matter of weeks, and eventually changed the city council.

“Is that the right thing to do?” you ask.

It is when you’re right. And being part of the political system—exercising your voice and being heard—is right! It’s time for you to be heard. But you can’t if you don’t stand up and speak out. It starts with sowing your seed. Your vote really does count.

What’s At Stake

The 2022 midterm elections will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2022, and will be the first elections affected by the redistricting following the 2020 census.

  • All 435 seats in the House of Representatives and 34 of the 100 seats in the Senate will be contested.
  • Thirty-nine states and territorial gubernational, and numerous other state and local elections will also be contested.

The 2022 midterm and other elections present a huge opportunity to elect conservative, Bible-believing individuals who will effect change for the entire nation at the federal, state and local levels.

As WallBuilders founder David Barton often reminds us, the midterm elections have even greater consequences than presidential elections. Now more than ever, your country needs YOU. Your ballot is your seed. Don’t miss this enormous opportunity to stay engaged, vote and make a difference in our nation!

7 Steps to a Deeper Prayer Life

7 Steps to a Deeper Prayer Life

You have a direct line to God. Did you know that? What an exciting thought! In fact, the easiest way to know what God wants for you is simply to ask Him. You probably already pray daily, but did you know that you can take steps to develop an even deeper prayer life? In doing so, you also find a deeper peace and connection with your heavenly Father? James 4:8 says that we can “come close to God, and God will come close to [us].”

It really is that easy. God desires a close relationship with you, and prayer is the key.

  1. Ask in Jesus’ Name

Before Jesus came, the average person couldn’t speak to God anytime he chose. But in coming to Earth and cleansing the sin of mankind, Jesus changed that. In John 16:23, Jesus tells us, “At that time you won’t need to ask me for anything. I tell you the truth, you will ask the Father directly, and he will grant your request because you use my name.” The Name of Jesus is one of the greatest gifts you have, because it allows you to commune directly with the Father.

  1. Believe That You Receive

Sometimes in prayer, you might ask God for something you don’t really believe you deserve. Or maybe you think it is too hard, or too unrealistic. The key to effective prayer is to make sure you really and truly believe that God will provide, despite how impossible it may look. Mark 11:24 says, “I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours.”

That’s a promise.

  1. Forgive

Sin is a true hindrance to effective prayer; it holds you back from God’s blessings because it makes it more difficult for you to hear His voice. Make sure that your heart is clear by taking a moment to reflect on any situations in which you may be holding on to unforgiveness. God wants you to forgive others in the same way that He so graciously forgave you (Mark 11:25).

  1. Depend on the Holy Spirit for Help

What if you don’t know what to pray about? Sometimes your situation can be so muddled that it’s hard to know where to start. That’s when it’s important to pray in the spirit. Romans 8:26 says, “The Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words.” God knows your situation, so you don’t even have to lay everything out; just trust that the Holy Spirit will let the right words flow through you. In 1 Corinthians 14:14, we’re told, “If I pray in tongues, my spirit is praying, but I don’t understand what I am saying.”

  1. Pray the Prayer of Intercession

In Acts 20:35, Jesus says, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” This verse generally refers to material things, but it applies to prayer as well. Interceding on behalf of your friends, your family and your community at large will bless them as well as you. 1 Timothy 2:1 says, “I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them.” To learn more about this powerful kind of prayer, check out the article “Unpacking Intercessory Prayer.”

  1. Pray in the Spirit to Build Yourself Up

Because praying in the spirit (i.e., in other tongues) allows you to pray about things you don’t understand, it is a great way to build yourself up in ways you may not know you need. Jude 20 remind us, “You, dear friends, must build each other up in your most holy faith, pray in the power of the Holy Spirit.” And 1 Corinthians 14:4 says, “A person who speaks in tongues is strengthened personally.” Strive to spend a portion of your prayer time praying in the spirit so that you can have the fortitude you need when praying for others.

  1. Pray to Interpret

When you pray in the spirit, it builds you up, and you definitely need that. However, 1 Corinthians 14:13 says, “So anyone who speaks in tongues should pray also for the ability to interpret what has been said.” When you pray in a group setting, it’s best to pray for an interpretation so that others can be blessed as well.

Thankfully, effective prayer is not a complicated thing. Immerse yourself in the Word and pray in the Holy Spirit often. Deepen your connection with God by truly communing with Him. The best relationships you have here on Earth are strengthened by connecting deeply and regularly. Your relationship with God is no different. As you begin to put these seven steps into practice, you’re will enjoy a deeper and more effective prayer life!

The Miraculous Realm of God’s Love

The Miraculous Realm of God's Love

by Kenneth Copeland

The entire new covenant—all that it involves—is wrapped up in love.

According to God’s WORD, we can walk in perfected love while we are here in this earth. God is love so love itself is already perfect; but we have to allow God to express His perfection in our lives. We do that by keeping His WORD.

The world’s systems and ideas are accepted as the norm, but they are not. God’s WORD is the norm and the standard of life we are to maintain. Man was created to function on God’s level. Adam walked on that level in the Garden of Eden; but when he disobeyed God, he fell from his position of fellowship and oneness with God. It took Jesus coming to earth as a man to reclaim the authority that Adam gave over to Satan. Today, every born-again believer can live on that supernatural level through the power of God’s love, by the Holy Spirit.

I’ve heard the love walk described this way: “To walk in love, to live in this God kind of love, is like a man walking in a dense, early morning fog. He walks in it until his clothes are saturated with moisture, until the brim of his hat drips with water.” You can walk in the love of God to the point that your whole being is saturated with love. Every word you speak drips with love and everyone you come in contact with is affected by that love. Hallelujah!

I have set myself and am determined to be “Holy-Spirit-possessed.” I have made up my mind to come to that place in love—to be totally and completely filled with the Holy Spirit in every area of my being.

Become Love-Conscious

In studying the love of God, you must remember this: Walking in love is not just “being nice.” Jesus was Love manifested in the flesh, but there were times when He didn’t appear to be “nice.” One time He called the people snakes. He said, “Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers” (Matthew 23:33). Another time He called a Syrophenician woman a dog (Mark 7:27). It didn’t sound very sweet, but His words were effective. They got her attention and penetrated her unbelief. When He got through to her, she quit begging, looked Him straight in the face, and said, “yet the dogs under the table eat of the children’s crumbs” (verse 28). She let Him realize she wasn’t leaving there without the deliverance of her daughter. Jesus then said, “For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter” (verse 29).

Love is a way of life—a life of being love-conscious instead of self-conscious. If you are not being love-conscious, you will always take the selfish route. Being love-conscious does not come automatically; it requires training. The WORD says we are to practice love. If we love one another, God dwells in us, and His love is perfected in us (1 John 4:12). As we love one another, God’s love is perfected in us. Now you can see why walking in love is walking in the highest spiritual realm of existence—you are walking in God and God is walking in you.

Human beings are supernatural beings. Every person has a deep desire to walk in the supernatural. It is that desire which motivated you to reach out to God.

The First Step

The first time you ever touched the realm of the miraculous was when you were born again. Someone preached The WORD of God to you. You called on the Name of Jesus and reached out into that realm. The experience of the new birth is the most miraculous event that will ever occur in your life. You were reborn from a death of trespass and sin and made alive to God. You were re-created and made to be righteous—a spotless child of the God of heaven and earth. “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17). You instantly became a new creature. One translation says you became “a new species of being that never existed before.”

Some people have experienced only the new birth, not realizing God has provided much more. Many have taken a step further and experienced the infilling of the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking with other tongues. “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance” (Acts 2:1, 4). With the Holy Spirit active in you, you have the ability to witness to the world of God’s great power and love.

The Commitment

A few have decided to live in that realm, renewing their minds with The WORD and separating themselves from the carnal ways of the world: “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God” (Romans 12:1-2).

This is the committed believer—one who has made the decision to be a holy vessel of honor, sanctified and meet for the Master’s use, prepared unto every good work (2 Timothy 2:21). A born-again child of God is bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh, joined one spirit with The LORD (Ephesians 5:30; 1 Corinthians 6:17).

Standing in Full Measure

This is the ultimate realm of God’s power and love—the place where all phases of ministry come together and operate at their fullest capacity.

God has been dealing with me about walking in the fullness of the gifts of the Spirit. In my estimation, the best I have seen of spiritual gifts in operation has fallen short of what God wants to do.

I have been very blessed to see great and miraculous happenings, both in church congregations and out in the streets. I have seen the power of God in operation, but I have never yet walked away satisfied that God did everything He wanted to do. The time is coming and now is at hand for the fullness of the gifts of the Spirit to operate, for God to do what He has been wanting to do all these years. Jesus said, “He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father” (John 14:12). The things I am going to share with you now are the things that will put us in a position to walk in that fullness of greater works.

We haven’t reached that place yet, but we are headed that way now. Glory to God! We have finally come to the place where many of us are joining together and worshiping God in unity, “Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of the Christ” (Ephesians 4:13). That is one of the most important steps that has to happen.

“(Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ” (Ephesians 4:9-12).

God said this to me: “The time is coming and even now is, for people to walk in the fullness of their callings.” No, the day of the apostle is not over. The day of the prophet is not over. The evangelist and the pastor are not the only two ministries left in operation. The day is coming soon when we will see people walk in apostolic and prophetic power in full measure. We will see people walk in the office of evangelist in such a way that it will shake and startle the world.

First Corinthians 12:28 refers to other ministries that have been set in the Body of Christ; “And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.”

Some people are called primarily to one office of ministry, such as miracles or gifts of healings. There are offices where people are called just to do miracles. There are people set in the Church to do nothing but minister healing to the congregation. Kathryn Kuhlman walked in that ministry. She preached to people who didn’t know much about The WORD. God called her to minister in the gifts of healings; and thank God, she accepted it!

There is an office of governments and an office of helps. The office of helps is the most underdeveloped ministry in the Body of Christ today. It is a vital ministry, just as real and necessary as the office of pastor. God is raising up men and women in these last days to walk in the fullness of helps and governments. He said to me, “I will bless them for their commitment to see My covenant established in the earth. They will be there watching as the dead are raised and the blind see and the lame walk!” Praise God! Think about it—you and I seeing ministries operate in full measure.

The New Breed

Our job is to walk in love toward one another and walk in this magnificent realm of the miraculous.

“Speaking the truth in love, [we] may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: from whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love” (Ephesians 4:15-16).

In the Greek text, the word edify means “to charge,” as you would “charge” a battery. As we edify one another in love, we pump one another full of power! By speaking the truth in love to each other, we grow up into Him in all things and walk the earth in full stature as believers continually building each other up with The WORD.

Jesus is not coming back for a weak, sickly Church that has been defeated and beaten down by Satan. No, praise God, we are going out of here in a blaze of glory!

You can walk in the realm of the miraculous, using the authority of God; but you will never do it until you put God’s WORD first place in your life and walk in love. That is the realm of the miraculous!

In Deuteronomy 28, The WORD says, “And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments [now there is only one to observe and do] which I command thee this day…all these blessings shall come upon thee and overtake thee…” (verses 1-14). Then you will be walking by faith on the highest level there is. God’s miraculous power will operate in you and you will see great and mighty things take place.

You will be counted among “the new breed” that shall go forth to the world. You shall no longer walk as other gentiles walk in the vanity of their minds; but you shall walk in love even as Jesus walked—men and women knowing their full rights and privileges in Christ Jesus. You shall rise up, proclaiming the mighty Name of Jesus, and prepare the way of The LORD’s coming!
