Aug. 28, 2023, marked the opening of Kenneth Copeland Bible College Canada in Langley, British Columbia. Sixteen students began their education with the same bulldog faith as those at our Fort Worth, Texas, campus. This milestone is the result of two years of prayer, planning and preparation. KCM Canada brought the idea for a second KCBC campus to Pastors George and Terri Copeland Pearsons, and KCBC’s Dean and Chief Academic Officer Dr. Tony Erby. Together, they developed a plan to build the campus with the help of the KCBC faculty and staff in the U.S. and Canada.
The first day of classes began with Pastors George and Terri welcoming the students in person. They cast the vision for what those students would learn throughout the accredited, two-year program. For Judy-Ann P., one of the students, it was a dream come true. “I am so happy to be finally in KCBC Canada in Langley,” she said. “I’ve been waiting to go here since 2021…and I am finally here. I’m having a great time. And the classes and the teachers, the instructors are wonderful!”
Brother Copeland taught a class for all KCBC students, streamed from the Fort Worth campus, where U.S. students were enjoying their first day of classes too. This two-way communication system will allow students in both locales to attend classes simultaneously and interact with professors, regardless of which campus the professors are teaching from. It allows students at both campuses to receive the best training possible.
It also opens the doors for future KCBC campuses around the world, an exciting thought since those who graduate from KCBC do so with a clear vision for their personal, God-given calling, which is one of the elements that makes KCBC unique. Every graduate must know where they fit into the Body of Christ as ministers of the gospel before they can receive their diploma. This is especially helpful as KCBC graduates continue into the fivefold ministry or into business, academia, civil service, government or some other area.
We are confident that by expanding KCBC, even more believers will gain the training they need to impact their world with the message of faith and the truth about the integrity of God’s Word.
So watch out, world, KCBC Canada is open and ready to help raise up the next generation of ministers to proclaim as loudly as they can—JESUS IS LORD!
