Feed Thy Kids Daycare is a free facility, fully supported by the financial generosity of KCM Africa Partners through twice-sown seed.
Feed Thy Kids (FTK) is a non-profit daycare serving over 60 children, ages 1-5, in a region of South Africa where poverty and unemployment are widespread. In a faith-filled, loving environment where Jesus is Lord, FTK provides free daycare and two nutritious meals daily. It offers a safe space for children to play, learn and grow while their parents work hard to provide for their families, despite the challenges surrounding them. Kenneth Copeland Ministries Africa has provided financial support to FTK since its inception in 2016.
The name for this facility was taken from Song of Solomon 1:8 (KJV), in which it instructs to, “feed thy kids beside the shepherd’s tents.”
Through this outreach, not only are the children’s practical needs met, but seeds of joy and creativity are sown into their young lives as the love of God is demonstrated in action. It is a blessing to see the light of God’s love shine in their hearts, bringing hope and joy into what could otherwise be challenging circumstances. FTK is raising up a generation to know that with Jesus, they can live a life of victory!
FTK has become a beacon of hope by offering a no-cost haven to parents of vulnerable children, who face the very real threats of kidnapping and human trafficking. Under the loving and watchful care of the dedicated team at FTK, these children are not only protected but nurtured in an environment saturated with the love of Jesus.
“But Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.'” Matthew 19:14
Matthew 25:40 says, “‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!”Through ministries like FTK, the heart of Jesus is being demonstrated, showing these families that they are never forgotten but always loved and cared for by God. The Partners of KCM Africa make this possible!
This daycare is just one of many ways that the impact of the seed sown by our Partners into KCM is multiplied through twice-sown seed, because 10% of every dollar given to KCM is immediately sown into other ministries.
