Providing Immediate Assistance After Oklahoma Tornadoes

When several tornadoes hit Oklahoma, the KCM Relief Team immediately deployed to check on and minister to Partners in the affected areas.

Early Sunday morning, Nov. 3, 2024, several tornadoes touched down in Oklahoma City, Okla., with one measuring as an EF3. Several properties were damaged in the storm, leaving some individuals without power or a safe place to live.

Once the storm had completely moved through the area, the Kenneth Copeland Ministries Relief Team began strategizing how they could best help. They soon discovered that 900 KCM Partners were in the vicinity of the storm. So, the Relief team drove to Oklahoma to contact Partners in person.

By the time they arrived, they had identified 40 Partners in the direct path of the storm who experienced damage to their properties or homes. Thankfully, only one Partner’s roof was partially destroyed, and the remaining 39 Partners experienced minimum damage, such as fallen trees or missing shingles.

One Partner even had a miraculous testimony: As one of the tornadoes approached his house, it suddenly lifted into the sky and returned to the ground after passing over, causing no damage to his home. Praise God!

Another Partner spoke to one of the tornadoes in faith and told it to leave in Jesus’ Name. After the storm, she saw that the neighborhoods to the north and south of them had major damage, but her house was unscathed!

A third Partner had a tree in their yard that needed to be cut down prior to the storm, but the removal service would have cost them $2,000. When a tornado swept through, it leveled that tree, knocking it to the ground without hitting any other part of the property. Then, a local church came, helped them chop it up, and removed it at no cost, saving them $2,000!

While surrounded by properties that suffered major damage, our Partners experienced either minor or no damage. Praise God for that!

Additionally, the Relief Team had several divine appointments as they served. They prayed for Partners concerning healing, helped build their faith, encouraged them in life challenges, and ministered to many in the community.

Kenneth Copeland Ministries consistently prays Psalm 91 over our Relief Team and our Partners, especially when natural disasters occur. God has always been faithful to provide protection in miraculous ways.

Relief efforts continue in areas impacted by Hurricanes Helene and Milton. In areas like Asheville, N. C., relief efforts could take a year or longer to restore what was damaged. Other, more remote areas, like Burnsville, N. C., will continue to be supplied with necessities by KCM partnering ministries.

Even amid a natural disaster, God is at work, and His faithfulness endures forever. Please join us in prayer for communities across America that have been impacted by recent natural disasters. We are continuing to work with and support other organizations to help these communities, like Samaritan’s Purse and Mercy Chefs.

The KCM Relief Team is made possible by the financial support and prayers of our Partners. If you are a Partner with Kenneth Copeland Ministries or you a member of Eagle Mountain International Church, thank you! Your support through prayer and giving affects impacts lives.
