KCM Reaching Kerrville With Powerful Prayer, Purpose and Partnership

Kerrville and the rest of the Texas Hill Country are vastly different today from the summer travel destination many residents and tourists enjoy each year. So far, more than 100 people have perished in the recent flooding of the Guadalupe River that swelled over 26 feet in 45 minutes, according to Texas state officials.

The rains have receded, and some aspects of life are back to normal, but one thing is certain: The Texas Hill Country needs our prayers and support.

As soon as the roads were cleared in Central Texas, Riley Stephenson from KCM Disaster Relief left the ministry home near Eagle Mountain Lake immediately.

“What are you going to do?” he was asked. “I don’t know yet, but God needs us there, checking on our Partners and Friends,” Riley said.

Driving four hours from Fort Worth to Kerrville, Riley and the KCM Disaster Relief Team connected with local churches. It began strategizing on how to best serve the community and its partners.

Meanwhile, they enlisted the KCM Partner Services Center to begin contacting Partners and Friends in the area directly, to see how they were impacted and how KCM could assist them during this challenging time.

As a KCM Partner, you not only have a part in ministering to those affected by a disaster, but you also have the continued prayers and support of those at KCM. During and after a disaster, KCM connects with every KCM Partner in the region to ensure their safety and stands with them, so that their community will be supernaturally restored.

You may not be able to travel to Texas, but you can help!

On a sunny day, two men are laying their hands on another man's shoulders, praying for him, while standing in a Kerrville parking lot.

Even amid a natural disaster, God is at work, and His faithfulness endures forever. Please join us in prayer for the city of Kerrville, the Central Texas region, and those across the country who have been affected by this devastating event.

We are moving quickly to bring the love of Jesus and relief to those who are hurting in the Texas Hill Country. Our fundraising goal for this project is $100,000.

The KCM Disaster Relief Team is made possible by the financial support and prayers of our Partners. If you are a Partner with Kenneth Copeland Ministries, thank you! Your support through prayer and giving has a profound impact on lives, enabling us to respond immediately when disaster strikes across the nation or in your backyard.

God bless you! Thank you for your support!

When you give to KCM’s Disaster Relief Fund, the funds are designated toward our Disaster Relief efforts in Kerrville and beyond. Please know that at KCM, we take designated gifts seriously.
