We’re praying for all the fathers this Father’s Day! Here’s our prayer for you. If you’re not a father, you can pray this for your own father or a father you know:
Dear Heavenly Father, we thank you for being the perfect Father and an example of a father’s love. Today, we honor and bless Your Name!
We lift up all the fathers this Father’s Day. We pray that they are blessed and strengthened in their role as a father. May their faith be an example to all their children, and may the love of God shine forth through to all they encounter. We pray that their children honor and respect them, so that it will be well with them. May you God, out of your glorious riches, strengthen them with power through Your Spirit in their inner being, that Christ may dwell in their hearts through faith. May they, being rooted and established in love, have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and may they know this love that surpasses knowledge, that they may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. May God, who is utterly able, do immeasurably more for them and in them than they could ever ask or imagine. We thank you for working in them today, Father! It’s in Jesus’ Name we pray, amen.
