What does it take to live your best life?
Many people think that living your best life is having all kinds of worldly possessions. Of course, God wants you to be blessed and have your needs met. But living your best life also includes getting your prayers answered, having a close relationship with your Heavenly Father, and being able to be a blessing everywhere you go!
You can live your best life when you understand you have a covenant with God. You have new covenant rights and are empowered through Christ to use them for a blessed life.
Watch Kellie Copeland explain how you can become fully persuaded in your covenant rights. Let’s examine what Jesus promises you in this new covenant so that you can live your best life!
An Eternal Home for You
Jesus said, “There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am” (John 14:2-3).
Answered Prayers
In John 14:12-14, Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father. You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!”
Companionship
Jesus reminds you, “No, I will not abandon you as orphans—I will come to you” (John 14:18).
Much Fruit in Your Life
“Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing,” Jesus said in John 15:5.
A Counselor
Jesus said, “I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Counselor, that He may be with you forever: the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, for it does not see Him, neither does it know Him. But you know Him, for He lives with you, and will be in you” (John 14:16-17, Modern English Version).
Truth and Wisdom
In John 14:26, Jesus said, “But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you.”
Abundant Joy
“Ask, using my name,” Jesus said, “and you will receive, and you will have abundant joy” (John 16:24).
Read these promises, meditate on them and say them to build your faith. Believe Jesus is talking directly to you and receive what He promised you. Jesus’ desire for you is to exercise your covenant rights and have the best life!
