We’ve all noticed it.
Grocery prices continue to climb, the sticker prices on vehicles have skyrocketed, and inflation has arrived where we all see it the most—at the gas pumps! But there’s good news for the Body of Christ today—your financial success is already secured.
That’s right. No weapon formed against your finances will prosper in Jesus’ Name! As a believer, you’re living under a different economy. And when you live there by faith, it won’t matter when prices go up because so will your income. Even if it doesn’t, you still won’t feel the pinch because your money will go further than it ever has. You will have supernatural favor. You will see divine deals coming to you. Money will come from unexpected sources.
You are not subject to the times; the times are subject to you! That’s God’s will for you in this time—to have over and above, pressed down, shaken together and running over financial success.
During times like these, it’s important to refresh ourselves on the truths in God’s Word concerning finances. Let’s renew our minds to the Word of God, as we press into these 4 Laws for Financial Success, put them into practice, and watch as the blessings of God pour out all over us!
1. We Determine the Measure
“Take heed what you hear. With the same measure you use, it will be measured to you; and to you who hear, more will be given.” –Mark 4: 24 (NKJV)
We aren’t limited by the economy or our upbringing, education, race or job title. Praise God, He doesn’t operate the way people do. In fact, He glories in bringing those from the bottom to the top.
So, how can we cooperate with Him?
One way is by doing what Jesus challenged His disciples to do in Mark 4:24. He said, “With the same measure you use [to hear], it will be measured to you” (NKJV). He continued by saying, “To those who listen to my teaching, more understanding will be given. But for those who are not listening, even what little understanding they have will be taken away from them” (verse 25).
In other words, we are only limited by how much we choose to hear, or how much we choose to measure.
What exactly are we measuring? The amount of Word we hear and the way we use it to view life.
So, when you’re believing for financial success, you determine the measure. How? Well, if you’re believing for a return, are you believing for a thimble full, a teacup full, buckets full or truckloads?
That’s what Jesus was telling His disciples. The decision is ours. It’s the way we measure—the way we hear the Word of God and apply it. So, take heed to what you hear. Take heed how you let what the world says affect your five physical senses.
If you want to enter into the kind of financial success God has in mind for you, you’re going to have to enter God’s kingdom and operate in His ways.
God is waiting. It’s your move. It’s your measure.
2. Debt Is Under the Curse
“The borrower is servant to the lender.” –Proverbs 22:7
If God’s will is for you to be blessed with financial success, then debt is the opposite. Debt does not keep you at zero, it catapults you into the negative! It puts you under, not above. It puts you in the position as servant to the lender. It makes you the tail and not the head. That’s not who God says you are!
You are meant to prosper in this life. However, to see and enjoy financial success, you have to understand that debt is under the curse.
Now, that doesn’t mean you’re sinning if you have debt. It means you should aim to be debt free to enjoy the freedom Jesus came to give you. Finances are a lot like sickness and disease—you can accept the state you’re in because the doctors say you should or the world says you must—but Jesus has a better way, a better truth for you to receive.
The world says you have to be in debt to own a house or a car. Jesus says, “I came to give you life more abundantly.” It’s your choice—the world or THE BLESSING. But Galatians 3:13 says Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, so getting out from under it was His plan all along!
Why do so many Christians seem to struggle anyway? Because they haven’t received revelation of their rights; and therefore, they do not contend for them. You have the spiritual right to be debt free. Start seeing yourself that way, and ask God to show you how to get out of debt and stay out. It’s time for you to have dominion in the area of your finances in Jesus’ Name!
3. Have Faith in Seed
“As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest…will never cease.” –Genesis 8:22 (NIV)
If you have a need today, remember this: A seed will meet any need.
Every living thing came from a seed—including you! It is God’s divine order of increase.
To enter God’s kingdom and operate in His ways, we must have faith in seed—not just faith in God. Yes, we must trust God, but we must also have faith in the seed itself. We must believe it will produce for us, the same as a farmer would believe.
The Bible tells us that God based His kingdom, as well as the universe, on the principle of seedtime and harvest (Genesis 8:22). It has always operated that way.
Everything is a seed—our money, our possessions, our time, our actions and even our words. The Bible says we will reap what we sow in every area of our lives—not just in finances. It’s spiritual law!
That’s why when we go to God with a need, He immediately begins talking to us about seed—something we can sow, or that we have sown, that will meet that need. Oftentimes, however, that’s the last thing we want to hear.
For example, there was a young rich man who ran up to Jesus and asked, “What shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?” (Mark 10:17, KJV).
He literally knelt before the Lord with all his need. He wanted eternal life. But when Jesus said, “Go…sell whatever you have and give it to the poor” (verse 21, NKJV), the man walked away downcast.
This rich man came to Jesus with a need—the need for eternal life—and Jesus began talking to him about planting seed, but the man didn’t realize it. In his natural way of thinking, he thought Jesus meant he was just supposed to give away everything he had.
But that wasn’t the case at all. Jesus was simply trying to help him change from the world’s way of doing things to God’s way by sowing a seed.
Of all the seeds, words are the most powerful. In fact, words are an important part of the entire process of sowing and reaping. Words were not created by God primarily for communication. Words release power. The Bible calls them arrows that cannot be recovered. That’s why we have to be so careful with what we say. We can say, “Well, I said it accidentally.” Yes, but the arrow has already been shot.
You also reap your harvest with your words. (Learn more about The Rules of Reaping Your Harvest HERE.) We reap our harvest the same way we acquire anything else—by faith. Our words of faith cut down the crops and bring in the harvest. What you say is what you sow. And the words you speak today will dictate tomorrow’s harvest. So, be sure your words are calling in your harvest with faith. They are a powerful harvesting tool!

4. The Hundredfold Return Works Every Time
“Now Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold.” –Genesis 26:12 (NKJV)
A lot of church people—even preachers—get upset when you start talking about believing God for 30, 60 and hundredfold return on what you sow into His kingdom. They get real nervous when you challenge them to receive all God has set before them.
But go talk to some farmers about the hundredfold return. That’s what they’re all after! They’re doing everything they can to get a hundredfold harvest from the seed they sow.
Why, then, are Christians so reluctant when it comes to believing God for a hundredfold return?
Because they don’t understand the principle of seed faith, as we just discussed. Believers should use their faith for return on what they sow, the same as the farmer does.
The hundredfold return is a spiritual law—a law for financial success. It works all the time. You should be expecting a return on what you sow—and not a small one! As you go about your day, be aware that what happens in your life and the returns that come to you are the result of this law!
Don’t sow your seed, then walk away and forget it. Look for that return. Not just some of the time, but every time. The hundredfold return works every time.
When you receive something—an unexpected check, a raise, a gift, a good deal—that’s the hundredfold return at work! Learn to recognize it, and praise God for it. In doing so, you will increase the power operating behind this law for financial success.

While watching VICTORYTHON™, I asked the Lord to put a seed amount on my heart to sow. He showed me a smaller seed than I usually sow but like Kellie Copeland said, “Don’t despise your seed.” Within 12 hours of sowing that seed, we received a hundredfold return in cash. Praise God!
The 30, 60 and hundredfold return is not a theological debate. It’s a responsibility that falls back into our laps. We ultimately determine the amount of “return” we receive from every seed we sow into the kingdom of God. We decide whether it will be a teaspoonful, a handful or a truckload. Let’s choose the truckload!
These four laws for financial success work. They work for born-again believers who will dare to believe God, take Him at His Word, and stand in faith in the face of impossible situations. Whenever you’re tempted to grumble about the current gas prices or the astronomical increases on food prices, stop yourself and say, “I am a part of God’s economy. I am an heir to financial blessings, and I experience financial success every day!”
