A faithful person—someone you can depend on who won’t let you down—can be hard to find. Learn to count on God with 10 Ways God Proves He Is faithful to You.
No one enters a marriage relationship expecting the other person to be unfaithful to them, and yet it happens. Everyone can say they know someone who has divorced, and no matter what the circumstances of the divorce, each spouse can feel that the other person has in some way been unfaithful to them, not keeping the marriage vows they agreed upon.
Many Christians have the same mentality when it comes to their relationship with God. You may think that God has let you down or not kept a promise to you. The circumstances of life can paint a picture that God has not been faithful to you. Maybe you didn’t get something you wanted, or a situation didn’t turn out the way you had hoped. No matter what occurred, the way God feels about you has not changed; He loves you! And He loves to demonstrate to you that He can be trusted.
The union you have with God as a believer is much like a marriage relationship. Just as it takes time with a spouse to get to know and trust them, it takes time with God to get to know Him. The better you know God, the more you are able to recognize Him at work in your life. God is faithful. You can depend on Him; He will not let you down. Spend time with God today, meditating on 10 Ways God Proves He Is Faithful to You, and as you do, you will be able to recognize and discern other ways He has been faithful to you.
1. God Is Faithful To Save
“For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost.” –Luke 19:10
When you make Jesus the Lord of your life, He is faithful to save you spiritually and make you a part of His family. John wrote, “Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has become a child of God” (1 John 5:1). Think back to the moment when you first made Jesus the Lord of your life. How did God demonstrate His faithfulness to you? Remember the things that He did for you and thank Him.
2. God Is Faithful To Forgive
“But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.” –1 John 1:9
After you are born again, there are times you need to remember that God is faithful to forgive. When you sin—when the Holy Spirit convicts you of wrongdoing—you can confess your specific sins to God, and He is faithful to forgive you. Is there anything you need to confess to Him right now? No matter what you have done, God proves His faithfulness to you by forgiving you.
3. God Is Faithful To Fill
“Ever be filled and stimulated with the Holy Spirit.” –Ephesians 5:18 (AMPC)
God is faithful to fill you with the Holy Spirit, just like He did with the early Church in the book of Acts. Acts 2:4 says, “And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance” (NKJV). This was never meant to be a one-time experience. That’s why Paul said in Ephesians 5:18 to continually be filled with the Holy Spirit. If you go to God and His Word, then He will be faithful to fill you—over and over again.
4. God Is Faithful To Provide
“And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.” –Philippians 4:19
Resources like money, food and clothing are needed to live in the world; and despite how you make a living or what you earn in wages, God promises that as you obey Him, He will be faithful to provide for you. Jesus says, “That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear…. Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are?” (Matthew 6:25-26). God is faithful to provide whatever you have need of in your life.
5. God Is Faithful To Heal
“I am the Lord who heals you.” –Exodus 15:26
God’s Word is full of promises that reveal God is faithful to heal you. He will heal your physical body. 1 Peter 2:24 says, “By his [Jesus’] wounds, you are healed.” God also provided healing for your broken heart and emotional wounds. Psalm 34:18 says, “The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.” And throughout the Gospels, Jesus healed the sick—the feverish, the lame, the diseased, the bleeding, the oppressed, the downcast—and He even raised the dead. If He did it for them, He is faithful to heal you.

6. God Is Faithful To Answer
“Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” –Jeremiah 33:3 (NKJV)
God has promised that when you call to Him, He will be faithful to answer. It doesn’t always mean that you will get the answer immediately, but God promises that He will answer your question as you stay in faith believing Him, seeking Him and putting His Word first place in your life. In fact, your answer oftentimes will come as you are spending time reading the Word of God. He is faithful to answer you.

7. God Is Faithful To Give You Peace
“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” –Philippians 4:6-7
Even though you live in this world, where there can be chaos at times, God is faithful to give you peace. You are in this world; you are not of it (John 17:16). You can live in a place of peace, even when there is chaos all around you. You can live without worry, anxious thoughts or being stressed out. You can have supernatural peace by giving God all your cares and concerns; He is faithful to give you peace (1 Peter 5:7).
8. God Is Faithful To Be With You In Trouble
“I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name. When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble.” –Psalm 91:14-15
When you encounter troubles of any kind, God is faithful to be with you there. If you call on Him in faith, He will deliver you. You might say, “I got myself into this mess. It’s my own fault.” God is so good and merciful that He will never fail you nor abandon you (Hebrews 13:5). No matter how many times you find yourself in a tight spot, God is faithful to be with you in trouble.
9. God Is Faithful To Give You Authority
“Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you,” –Luke 10:19
God provided for you by sending Jesus, then gave you authority over every attack of the enemy. There is nothing the devil can throw at you that you do not have power and authority over. You are seated at the right hand of God with Jesus (Ephesians 2:6). God thought about you ahead of time, and is faithful to give you the authority you need in the earth to combat every attack of the enemy.

Everything He has promised, He will do. Hebrews 10:23 says, “Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.” You can count on God to be faithful in His faithfulness to you.
