We partnered with local organizations in Washington, D.C., to show that #KindnessMatters.

If you’ve been around Kenneth Copeland Ministries long, you know we are passionate about partnership. Partnership is the way God designed heaven and earth to work together—to achieve more together than any of us could do on our own.

As we started our journey to the 2019 Washington, D.C. Victory Campaign, our hearts were expectant for what was to come. We were excited about the ways we could partner with the local community to touch lives and point them to Jesus—all by showing that Kindness Matters.

Watch this video as the KCM team shares the love of God with the people of Washington, D.C., by acts of kindness during the recent 2019 Washington, D.C. Victory Campaign.

Because of our Partners, we were able to love, honor and serve our Veterans at the Washington, D.C., VA Medical Center. With more than 125,000 veterans registered to receive care, this facility is the only health care system that provides care specifically for Veterans.

We put together the most requested Christmas items for the long-term residents and stocked their Christmas store. Then, we hand-delivered our gifts to these heroic men and women. Most importantly, we were able to let them know how much we love them and appreciate their service to our country.

Being the hands and feet of Jesus means meeting the needs of others, no matter how big or small. That’s why we also teamed up with one of our local Partner Churches, Hope Christian Church, to bless some of the members with gift cards. We all experience seasons of challenge, difficulty or sorrow, and we were blessed to come alongside and help.

Looking to the needs of the local community, we partnered with the organization Feeding Children Everywhere, along with more than 160 volunteers from Hope Christian Church, to assemble and pack 22,950 meals for hungry children. These meals were sent to the Capital Area Food Bank for distribution locally.

It was our honor to love people, serve the city and impact the world during the 2019 Washington, D.C. Victory Campaign. Partners, we couldn’t do it without you!

We don’t share this to boast in our giving but to encourage you to be the hands and feet of Jesus in your city. We look forward to sharing more acts of kindness and love at our next event.

Meanwhile, how can you show someone the love of God today with an act of kindness?
