KCM Disaster Relief Update: Helping in North Carolina After Hurricane Florence

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

The KCM Disaster Relief Team is on the ground helping our Partners and Friends in North Carolina after devastating Hurricane Florence hit the east coast.

The team is meeting with Partners and Partner churches in North Carolina affected by the hurricane Oct. 1-5, in the Lumberton, New Bern, Wilmington and Fayetteville areas. The team has also been able to meet with Operation Blessing to lend a hand where needed.

Please watch this Disaster Relief Update video to see what our team has been doing:

The Disaster Relief Team visited Pete and Jean Thomas, ages 93 and 90, and talked with their eldest grandson, Lee Thomas. Watch this video to hear their story and see how God helped rescue Pete, Jean and additional family members from severe flooding at their house.

Despite the destruction, the family is grateful for the Lord’s protection because they were not harmed. They believe in the power of prayer and of God’s hand of protection in their lives.

It is because of Partners like you that we are able to help other KCM Partners in times of natural disaster. Stay tuned for more updates, and if you would like to support the KCM disaster relief efforts, click here >> Give to KCM’s Disaster Relief Fund
