KCM Disaster Relief Team Heads to Louisiana

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

On Monday, Aug. 22, 2016, KCM Disaster Relief will be traveling to Louisiana to provide support to our Partners who’ve been affected by the Louisiana Flood of 2016.

In what is being called the nation’s worst natural disaster since Superstorm Sandy in 2012, the Louisiana Flood of 2016 caused 4 trillion gallons of rain to fall across southern Louisiana from August 12-14. That’s enough rain to fill 6 million Olympic-sized swimming pools!

This flooding is worse than the flooding Hurricane Katrina caused 11 years ago. More than 30,000 residents have been rescued from their homes and vehicles so far, and relief efforts continue. Eleven people have perished.

Join us as we pray for everyone affected by this disaster, and please pray for our team as we go.
