Kids are heading back to school, and the Kenneth Copeland Ministries (KCM) Outreach ministry team went to work to help the families in the communities of Rowlett, Mesquite and Garland, Texas, who are still rebuilding their lives after tornados devastated the areas in December 2015.
Our team partnered with Light Church in Mesquite to hold the Back to School Reach community event on Aug. 12-13, 2016. More than 400 families were blessed with boxes of food, personal care items and school supplies.
One thousand backpacks full of school supplies were distributed, and 85 people accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior! What an amazing time to join together and reach out to our local community with the love of Christ.
